Hayek’s Market

I love their fresh prepared, home made meals. Such a large selection and I've never had a meal I didn't like!
The stuffed chicken is out of this world.
The meals here are better than most restaurants in the area. The prices are very reasonable.
Fresh salads are great too!

I went to Hayek's to get an Italian Sub yesterday... so the price went up (now $13.99) the size is smaller, and the bread is different. As much as I want to be a little annoyed because of inflation lol... I must say this sandwich was absolutely delicious!!! 😋 Thank you Hayeks for continuing to be one of the best around!! 👍🏾

While visiting NJ to celebrate four family members Birthday's I decided to make it a surprise party. I ordered three different 3' subs, macaroni salad, potato salad, the Cracker and cheese platter and the 1/4 sheet Birthday cake with 4 names on it chocolate cake with raspberry filling. Hayek's did not disappoint. Doug took my catering order and Denise took my cake order. Food was ready for pick up at the time it was requested. I had the pleasure of meeting Doug when I picked up my order, they loaded everything into my car. Food was delicious everyone enjoyed and it was very convenient to pick everything up at one place. I would highly recommend ordering from them and can't wait to visit next time I am up that way.

I ordered Thanksgiving dinner to go from Hayek's Market. I picked it up on Wednesday and everything was packaged so nicely. The dinner was delicious from soup to dessert.

I was here scouting the Ice Cream for the Golden Cone App, only to find out that they don't make their own Ice Cream. They offer two popular Ice Creams from the area, Cliffs being one of them. So instead of just rating the Ice Cream, which they serve the best, I looked at the entire market and other offerings which was high quality brands with great customer service.

I've been going there for years, never had a bad experience, the food is topnotch, by far the best place around. The quality has not gone down since I've been living in the area , always a great sandwich.

Fantastic small grocery store! Butcher, deli/prepared foods, bakery, grocery, dairy... anything you could need. A beautiful store with very good service!

I had driven past Hayeks Market for years and finally tried it a few months ago. Now, I'm hooked! What a great selection of homemade sandwiches, pot pies, ready to heat dinners, desserts, fresh produce, and more. It's truly one of the best markets I've ever been in. Highly recommended.

Best fried chicken in the area. Their prepared meals are always wonderful. Great deli products as well.

Very large selection of prepared sandwiches and entrees. Tasty and fresh. Chocolate chip cookies were ok. This is probably my problem but be careful when ordering a very wet sandwich as it didn’t travel well. Still delicious though.

Just got a chicken salad wrap with bacon so good!!! Cheesecake was good but wasn't out of this world. Definitely recommend their wraps!!!

Reminds me of a small Trader Joe's. My first time in there but I would say the quality of everything looks good and the prices are relatively reasonable. You always pay more for things that are made for you but the quiches and sandwiches looked delicious and I am a big fan of Boar's Head and that is the deli company they use. I'm sure I'll go back.

Haven’t gotten a chance to stop in and try this place but today I did and I’m glad! As a pregnant woman finding places that have fresh tasting food is so hard but this place is amazing. The quality of the food is beyond excellent. I ordered a simple deli sub and the bread and meat was so fresh. I will definitely be coming back. Thankyou again!

My grandparents shopped at Hayek's Market many years ago. My aunt and uncle, who lived in Newton, shopped here. Now we bring mom and shop here. Great staff! Different varieties of food! Fresh produce, fresh meats, fresh breads, fresh desserts! Love the sandwiches! Don't forget to stop at the Ice Cream Stand!!

Omg, first time I went here. Ordered a prosciutto, wet mozzarella, roasted red pepper sandwich. It was on a beautiful sesame seeded roll with balsamic glaze. Made to perfection by Michael! Definitely will be back foe me delicious food!

I had their Corned beef and cabbage dinner yesterday. It was amazing and beautifully cooked. So economically pleasing also st $12.99 for one. Worth twice that. An institution in Newton, NJ it presents small town from the minute you walk in the door. I recommend all try their menu and fall in love. No frills just good food and great people.

Great market offering housemade specialty items (i.e appetizers, sandwiches, meals to go, desserts etc) along the perimeter of the inside of the store with more standard offerings on the inside aisles. Everything is presented well and always looks appetizing! The outdoor patio is always the highlight, here you can eat the items you couldn't wait to try until you got home!

Excellent selection of fresh meats, salads and anything for your summer outdoor barbeques or company. We purchased some fresh cut boneless rib eye steaks and cooked them on the grill and they were fantastic!! If your driving by on a hot day stop by their ice cream stand for a great selection of ice cream cones to cool you down.

I love this store. The meat & produce are super fresh.

The baked goods are delicious. The staff are friendly & helpful.
