Phoenix Café

This is a great local cafe/diner. They have a little bit of everything. Nothing is spectacular, but it is tasty.

Servers are friendly and nice- I always feel like I am taken care of when I eat here.

It is perfect for a quick meal, a nice place to meet a colleague for a breakfast or lunch. There is never a rush to get you out.

James being handicapped sometimes when we go out things sometimes seems a little tight . We went to our favorite place to go is Phoenix. We like to sit by the window so we can see who's going by. and they were so kind to let us put ourselves in the front to watch. Even thoughour money was tight and we could only share what breakfast knowing that was okay we still was out. The waitress the one we had was absolutely a dream. When I was homeless I actually used to come to Phoenix and they would give us food.. I really was thankful for the ability to share. I might have a dollar or two I came back to say.

Had the opportunity to enjoy their outdoor sitting while having a very hearty breakfast called the Manager's Special. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Great food with a good price.

I really think I was born in the wrong Era.

I went to the Phoenix Cafe early in the morning on a Saturday for breakfast, and I just think it's the perfect place. The menu is diner style, so you'll see a selection of your diner favorites, but it's not as extensive (which I know can be overwhelming for people).

It's a nice break from all of the upscale and chic restaurants around Somerville, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this establishment had the best service I've received on that main strip, and some of the most delicious banana nut pancakes I've ever eaten!

If you're looking for somewhere to make you feel like you're in the famous Edward Hopper painting Nighthawks, look no further. Truly one of my favorite spots in Somerville, and given the breadth of incredible restaurants, that's really saying something, in my opinion!

Have not tried the food, only had coffee here. The coffee was awesome. Staff are very lovely and accommodating. The location was also busy for weekend brunch! Excited to try the brunch menu.

My mom and I came here for breakfast. Nice seating outside right on main street. The service was very quick and food was good. The biscuits and sausage gravy hit the spot on this cool morning.

Super bomb. Place has tasted the same for the last 25 years. Their pork roll egg and cheese is spectacular. Very nice Kaiser Bun and fries. No wait and coffee stayed topped off. Highly recommended.

I've eaten breakfast at a lot of places. This was one of the best I've ever had. If they were open past 3, I would've come back for dinner.

Very kind and friendly servers and good food. Incredible service as well, Steph quickly brought me my order and was very kind. Server Kenny also was very friendly often check up on how I was if the food was good.I ordered the pancakes and I will definitely be coming back for more

New management at Phoenix. Amazing service, friendly atmosphere, food is terrific. If you have been here before and had a bad experience, you need to come back to give this another try.

Came here on a recommendation and was not disappointed! Absolutely delicious home-cooked breakfast. I got scrambled eggs, bacon and breakfast potatoes, my husband got the banana walnut pancakes. Both were SO good! Staff is very friendly. We were served quickly as well. Would definitely recommend Pheonix Cafe.

I'm very happy they extended their operating hours to late evening as they use to be open from morning to the late afternoon. Their menu in the evening has a very nice selection to choose from. The food is absolutely delicious and is very flavorful- I tried their grilled chicken panini. Their customer service is also unmatched compared to many other locations around Somerville. I highly recommend this location if you love trying different types of diner foods.

We started going here about two months ago and now it's our weekly weekend breakfast spot! The staff is super friendly especially Lucy she goes above and beyond and is so sweet! We have tried many dishes and honestly can't pick a favorite.

Went there for breakfast one weekend and we had a great experience. There are so many breakfast choices and the food we got was delicious! The service was also outstanding. Definitely will be back!
