Marcello’s Italian Ristorante

We came here on Thursday evening for a quick dinner, it’s a sizable but cozy Italian restaurant, with variety of pizza and pasta choices. The pizza is great and come quick, not like other Italian restaurant where we were waiting over 45 min. The pizza is crispy and coming with dried tomato and heavy cheese. We also ordered Filetto Francese, company with vegetables, the gravy is a bit salty, but we still enjoy it. The service is excellent, the waiter is very caring and asked frequently if we need anything. We will definitely come back! BTW, the price is very affordable:)

Best outdoor set up of any restaurant I’ve been at during this Covid crisis! My wife and felt very comfortable and safe under Marchello’s spacious canopy. I had the homemade Pork Bracciola with homemade linguini, and my wife had Fiocchi D’amore Casalinga, delizioso!! The pizza has a perfect crust, love it! 9 times out of 10 Marchello is there, if you don’t see him, he’s cooking. Making sure his customers are being taken care of. The service was very good. I highly recommend trying Marchello’s, bring your family out along with your favorite wine, you will not be disappointed!

I went twice in one week. The food was far better than any Italian restaurant I've ever been to. I had Flounder and Linguine Francesca and it was great. I also had the Long hots which were amazing. Very comfortable spot. Great antipasta and bread. BYOB. Great service.

Fresh food, and an attention to detail. This is the old style Italian dining that I grew up with. Clean and has outdoor and indoor seating

I've been hearing how great the chicken parm is here... so I had to try it... was NOT disappointed... very good... thin sliced, tender, not overly bread crumbed and the sauce is what you'd expect from someone's grandma from Italy ... really good

With DoorDash I had a problem as I got a different pizza then I ordered. I called the restaurant and they immediately gave me future credit and gave me beautifully baked pizza after a few weeks when I ordered to ensure customer satisfaction. Ethical restaurant.

Beautiful weather for outdoor sitting and they provide umbrellas for shade. I loved their menu choice and the food was amazing! Surely, I’ll visit again!

My wife and I have been going here for years and we love Marcello's. We have so many favorite dishes: Tortellini Alla-Romana, Chicken Parmigiana, or even just Spaghetti and Meatballs. Also, not to be missed are their Brick Oven Pizzas which are fantastic. It's nice inside, but we especially love the outdoor dining. Simply a wonderful family Italian restaurant.

Marchellos has the best Italian food and mussels. I love there cupachinno its delicious. I moved to Barnegat nj and the ride is worth it. Love his service. The gentleman Luis that always serves us is the best!!! Thank you Marchello 😊. My brother from keywest loves there food too.

The service was very friendly, and the brick oven pizza was especially good. We ordered a sausage pizza with ricotta cheese and tomato, which was excellent. I also ordered the country style chicken dish, which had onions, green and red peppers; the chicken was tender and cooked well, and the sauce was flavorful.

The only thing that I would suggest is that they get some high chairs for little children...I have an 18 month old daughter, and she stayed on our laps the whole time. I personally didn't mind, but other parents might not.

But all in all, I would definitely recommend this place.

Sparkling white linen tablecloths, comfortable cozy seating, friendly casual indoor and outdoor dining. Tasty, healthy Italian cooking. Tonight we had pizza, it was very tasty, but their pasta with tomato sauce dishes are very authentic and delicious. We usually stop by on a weekly basis. Enjoy!

excellent food OMG THE BEST IN TOWN BY FAR

The food was perfect and we enjoyed the loveliest service during lunch.

We enjoyed escarole and bean soup aswell as fried calamari marinated in vinegar as starters.

My favorite were the calamari! Tender, a little sour and spicy at the same time set the perfect path for entres.

As main course I was served scampi in white wine sauce served over linguine. The scampi were perfectly juicy and crisp as they should and the sauce aswell as the linguine were nicely spiced with a little salt and garlic and the white wine sauce gave it just the right balance of acid to make the whole meal a bit lighter.

Our other entre was beef braciole.

It was the first time that I had it and based on my culinary background it reminded me a little of German beef rolls.

Let's just say that the beef braciole was so excellent that I not only ate my starters, tried the escarole and bean soup, ate my full size of pasta but also finished the beef braciole.

It was such a grate, flavourfull and tasty meal that I couldn't resist.

We finished dinner with real Italian espresso, thick and aromatic. Just the way it's served in Italy!

I hope to be back soon for dinner next time!

tortellini in brood is so light and delicious. Finally an Italian restaurant the makes quality Italian food!!! this is not the typical "pizza dump that microwaves frozen food". Delicious, very high standards , and amazingly reasonably priced. MY NEW GO TO RESTAURANT !!!!!!

Wonderful dinning experience. The fettuccine Alfredo was amazing, it has a great atmosphere. Will definitely come back soon!

Fabulous Italian cuisine. Lovely staff who are courteous to all and are totally welcoming of children. Braciole is incredible. Brocolli penne is outstanding. As good as Mom's. Go back every time we are in town.

Marcello treats every body with dignity and respect, very nice place with variety of delicious and fresh prepared food for take out or eating in or outside the restaurant. Encourage everyone to visit him and enjoy the food and reasonable price 👍🍝🍕

Great family friendly dining. Service is exceptional. Classic brick oven pizza. Makes you feel like you are in Little Italy or Brooklyn.

Most wonderful waiter. Food is delicious. My father in law takes my wife and I here regularly and always enjoy it. Big portions of good italian meals.
