Queens Public Library at Queens Village

Queens Public Library at Queens Village holds a special place in my heart, as I've been a visitor for as long as I can remember—around the time I was 3 years old and likely even earlier. Although it's a relatively small location, it never fails to provide a pleasant and rewarding experience, with all the resources I could possibly need.

One of the standout aspects of this library is the exceptional staff. Over the years, they've not only been helpful in my reading journeys but have also taken the time to get to know me and my family well. Despite having moved a few years ago, not too far away, I make it a point to return every once in a while. What warms my heart is that the staff still remembers me vividly and consistently inquires about how my family is doing. This personalized touch and enduring connection make Queens Public Library at Queens Village more than just a place for books; it feels like a welcoming community that I am always happy to return to. Highly recommended for its friendly atmosphere and dedicated staff!

The library acts as a home base for the STAR theater group. The building has a has a full stage in its basement. The library is not unfortunately handicapped accessible being built in 1951. The manager and his assistant manager are forthcoming and friendly. The rest of their staff is wonderful as well. I can’t emphasize how nice the whole staff is in general despite their workloads....

It's the best library ever!!! It has homework help, a variety of books, and friendly staff. If you ever need a book you'll find it here.

Great staff couldn't be more helpful. Don't think there's an unfriendly worker in the entire library Just wish it would open. Hope entire staff is healthy and wish it would open soon. It was a part of my life which is in limbo now.

Had a wonderful experience. The staff is always helpful, especially the children's librarian. She constantly goes out of her way for the kids.

I grew up i queens village ny and lived there most of my life i always loved the library and all it offered me. Havent been there in years.

Small library but most of the staffs are pretty nice. The hours are short but their services are good.

best library spent many an afternoon reading in that library, went by last year and so pleased to see all the activity in this wonderful library a queens village treasure
