Went for my wife’s birthday. The food was amazing and came very fast. Great place for lunch with coworkers if you don’t have a lot of time. Went with our baby and we were able to order and eat before she woke up. Staff was very friendly and almost everything can be made vegan/vegetarian

I can't stress how amazing this place is. We come here at least every month. The food is off the charts!! The staff is beautiful and welcoming, we always have a wonderful time. BYOB too for the win.

Some of the best Thai in the Somerville area. The restaurant was very decently sized, with a welcoming interior. There was a wait list when we got there, and the initial approach of the host and the owner was not very welcoming—however, the food and the ambiance of the place made up for all of it. There is a special menu and the regular menu with several vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Most came with a veg or nonveg option. No dedicated kids' meal, so comes prepared. Food came out decently timed even though they all didn't come together. It is BYOB, and they offer basic tea and coffee drinks, including the yummy Thai iced tea

Kuay Tiew Noodles & More was a pleasant surprise. Easily one of the top 5 Thai food restaurants I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot over the years. Excellent fresh ingredients served with a touch of flair. The service was excellent with all the friendly staff providing “service with a smile.” We’ll definitely be back sooner than later and will bring the whole family next time!

Absolutely delicious! Best Thai food in the area. The red curry was creamy and delicious and full of flavor. The drunken noodles were perfectly seasoned and just the right texture. The mango sticky rice dessert was AMAZING, star of the show. Can’t recommend enough! Will definitely be coming back. Beautiful inside too!

Came here recently with a group of friends (Johnny says hello!) and had a wonderful time.

Staff is very friendly, and helpful when deciding on a meal. I got a delicious dish, and the prices were very fair all things considered. We did have a bit of a wait, but it wasn’t long at all, and once we sat down, the service was very quick.

This was the first time we have eaten there. The food was excellent we had the brazed Pork shank and pork belly. Is very nice sauce very tender. The appetizer trio was quite nice. The service was excellent and very friendly. The price is very reasonable especially for the quality of service and food.

Started with the kaew tod fried wontonwhich were phenomenal. Wish we took an order to go. The Thai iced tea are pre batch & excellent, I hope they never change the way they make it. Papaya salad was perfectly balanced & refreshing. As a main dish I had the moo daeng moo krob bbq pork, so nice that it was two different cuts. My husband has the pad see ew with beef with Thai red chilis which he loved. By the presentation of the dishes you can tell that lots of love went into making each dish.

Not only is the food amazing the people are so delightful. My best work days are when I go to Kuay Tiew and get to talk with the staff. They always say hello and you’ll always leave with a “thank you for your support!” I recommend the chicken fried rice mild with a side of hot sauce. The spicy edamame is a great side dish.

Some of the best Thai in the area. Kuay Tiew serves some of the freshest Thai in the area. 4% discount if you bring cash. The food is loaded with flavor and vegetables, helping you feel that you're not only eating good food, but also healthy (within reason, especially if you're getting coconut milk curries lol). Their specialty are their namesake noodle soups, something you don't often see.

Food can be made not spicy to very spicy within reason. As usual, I wish I could even spicier, but all you need to do is ask for chili oil if you're a fan of real heat.

Walked in for dinner for the first time. The location has limited indoor seats but additional seating ourdoors. We waited about 5 minutes for a table. The hostess was very nice and gave us menus to look at in advanced. The decor was amazing! We got the panang curry and drunken noodles and ate every bite. We will be back soon!

The BEST experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time.

To start, everyone was beyond friendly. Our server was extremely and helpful. I love that they gave us wipes to clean our hands prior to eating, and also really appreciated that they leave bottles of water on the table to refill.

The pork buns were the best I’ve had. Crispy, juicy, packed with flavor and the pickled veggies added the perfect amount of acidity.

The curry noodle soup was insane. Portion was large, it was creamy, spicy and sweet. The crispy noodles on top added the perfect crunch.

Prior to leaving we asked to take our leftovers to go. Our server packed them for us at the table (thank god because there’s no way I wouldn’t have spilled the broth) and folded the bag nicely so it would stay closed.

I love the atmosphere of the restaurant itself but between the service and incredible flavors, it was phenomenal. Cannot wait to come back!

Charming Thai restaurant with excellent food and very friendly service. The owner Thana and wife were nice enough to come to our table and share some fun stories of Thai culture. You will feel very relaxed from the atmosphere and extra friendly Thai service

Great place, excellent service and flavorful items. Basically did appetizers and dessert but very good. Loved the soft shell crab salad. Great bun also. Very good atmosphere too.

We've been here twice now, once for lunch and most recently for dinner and both times have been a 5 out of 5 experience. For dinner the other night, we ordered the Pad Kee Maow (noodles), Khao Pad (fried rice), Kuay Tiew Moo (Pork Ramen equivalent) and the Kuay Tiew Roti with condensed milk for dessert, and I've never wished for a second stomach more than this night. Everything was so fresh, flavorful and delicious that I wanted to finish each dish, feelings of satiety be damned! This is a small, family run business, and you can absolutely tell that they all do their best to provide friendly and helpful service with a smile and they take incredible pride in their restaurant. If you love Thai food, this place is for you. If you've never tried Thai food, then this is the place to go to for your first time!

Kuay Tiew makes it onto my list of favorite Thai restaurants in NJ!

My go-to dish when trying new Thai restaurants is pad krapow, oftentimes written as spicy basil on some menus. Specifically I look for ground meat, flavorful sauce, the scent of basil, and some light heat (not always Thai spicy as it’s personally too hot for my enjoyment and my digestion).

Aside from the pad krapow I also decided to try their Ducky Puff (if I’m remembering the name of that item correctly), which is like their flaky curry puff with a lightly sweet and definitely salty filling.

Interior is very nice. Pricing matches that of the area but I do think serving sizes, ambiance, service, and of course the food warrants it. Also note that like many places now they have an extra service charge for credit transactions, which does not apply to cash or debit transactions.

I’m not frequently in Somerville but the next time I have a Thai flavor craving I know where I’ll be visiting. Thanks!

This is definitely one of my most favorite restaurants in town! I order from here pretty often from doordash and they never skip out on the protein! I finally got to eat here in person and the food was amazing as always and the service was fantastic! The owner and his workers are so sweet and kind <3 I would give them a 10 out of 5 if I could!!

Neat spot for good food. Service was friendly, fast, and helpful. Wild boar curry was pretty great, and it was a nice spot for a quiet and fun dinner out.

Went here for the first time today and we had my toddler with us. They were very accomidating and brought us a closed cup of water with a straw and paper plate for her without asking for it. Everyone was so friendly and attentive and the food was really good. Thanks we will be back soon!

Went for Saturday dinner, got seated immediately. We got fried calamari for app (pretty standard stuff-peanut dipping sauce tasted great) and got khao Soi with shrimp (the curry soup tasted amazingly flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly but just four pieces of shrimp) and pad see ew with squid (not as sweet as normally which made the rich flavor of the dish really come out). Overall great experience with excellent customer service
