I am so thrilled with the work Paintworks & Decorating did on my kitchen cabinets. My cabinets were in relatively good condition but I had them for 20 years and wanted a fresh look. Maggie helped me with color selection (and recommended a color I would not have considered but ultimately chose), Danny helped me with replacement doors for my laundry room and created a new hatch that looks just like my original cabinets and new under cabinet lighting. I never felt pressured. Always courteous and worked on my schedule. And came back for touch ups. I couldn’t be happier. Shout out to Ryan also for managing the project.

Ryan, Ricky, and their team were amazing! We had 3 PTACs removed, and about 100 holes throughout our apartment but you'd never know it if you saw the space now. They worked quickly and were also able to match our paint so that everything looked seamless.

Skillful and professional crew aside, the communication was top notch. We were constantly informed as to when the guys would be arriving, or if there were delays.

I highly recommend the Paintworks team and would gladly work with them again.

We hired Paintworks & Decorating to repaint the metal fence and railings of our Brooklyn brownstone. From beginning to end of the job, Ryan and Ricky were detail-oriented and responsive. They developed a proposal that exactly fit our needs and budget, had their team did a thorough job (including protecting surrounding areas), and returned multiple times as needed to ensure our satisfaction. Definitely recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Paintworks. First, Ryan is great to work with; he's professional, friendly, and does what he says he's going to do (unlike too many other contractors).

I was still living in Boston when the painters did the work at my apartment in Long Island City, and when I moved in a few weeks later I saw that the kitchen hadn't been painted (there was some confusion on the part of the painters). When I called Ryan to let him know, he apologized for the confusion and arranged to have the kitchen done within a few days, at no charge. He also offered me a great price to do another room (I asked him). Wow!

We used Paintworks and Decorating Inc to paint our 1 bedroom apartment, apply wallpaper on our accent wall in the bedroom as well as refinish our kitchen cabinets. Ryan was very responsive throughout the project and was quick to provide what our coop's requirement for the paperwork. His entire team was exceptional and was very flexible on time frames since we had delays in our building's approval and they were able to finish the paint job prior to our move in date. They were methodical with their preparation setup, cleanliness and were extremely professional. We are very happy with both the experience as well as the outcome and would 100% recommend anyone to use Paintworks for any similar projects.

We found Paintworks and Decorating Inc. through Yelp and are we so happy we did! We met with a few different companies to get quotes to paint our 800 sq ft. apartment. Ryan was the first one to respond and was super responsive throughout the entire process answering our many questions. Paintworks was not the least expensive nor were they the most expensive (we met with five companies) but we just knew we would have great quality and wonderful service and we 100% did! I would highly recommend working with them. They said they would have the job done in 2-3 days and I figured we should add a few days to that since nothing is ever on time...THEY FINISHED IN TWO DAYS! And it's a such beautiful job, we couldn't be happier with the finished product.

You can see the difference in the pics from what we had before (off white) to what we now have (bright white). Jose and Luis were amazing to work with and so lovely!

Highly recommend! We hired them to do our whole NYC apartment...they painted, added a variety of decorative moldings, wallpapered, etc. Everything turned out beautiful and their team is wonderful.

Working with Paintworks has been such a good experience. Ryan, Ricky and their team are incredibly responsive, helpful, and detail-oriented. They installed and painted wood paneling in a room we're turning into a nursery. Their team was careful and cleaned up after themselves. When I mentioned a few areas that needed a touchup, they came the next day to fix it. It's been tough trying to finish this room before the baby's due, but they made the process stress-free and smooth. Would definitely work with them again!

Great team of professionals! We hired them for a big project, painting our medical practice. Our practice has sensitive equipment , a laboratory, procedure rooms, consult rooms and a waiting room. They were careful, respectful of our space, and got the entire job done with 'surgical preciseness' . A few touch-ups were needed that they happily made for us. We will use them again!

Ryan and crew did wonderful work in our new apartment, and we brought them back to do another job once we figured out how we wanted to deal with a tricky room (wallpaper removal, lots of trim, etc). Communication was clear, scheduling was prompt and easy, and the whole experience felt seamless and great!

Excellent work. The wall looks beautiful. They were very quick, finished in less than 3 hours, and they were able to wallpaper a textured wall (where other companies either wanted to charge more, or said it was impossible).
