Magna Restaurant

This is a hidden gem, a really nice old-school Italian place, nice, warm, friendly staff serving up delicious food. It was our first visit, but they made us feel like we've been there a hundred times. You know that kind of service where they make you feel at home. Whatever you decide to try, I'm sure you'd love it. We're heading back for some Pizza this weekend.

This place had such an amazing vibe for dine in. They had breakfast buffet for $21. We did the menu and the oatmeal and french toast were too good. The staff was very friendly!

Local Italian restaurant that delivered more than expected. Food was good and fast at reasonable portion and prices. Service was lovely and attentive. Must try the calamari - it’s crispy and not too chewy. Pasta was fresh. Well worth a visit.

I went with my friends and I to Magna for a little birthday lunch and it was pretty darn good! Tucked away in Flushing where you can mostly only find Chinese, Korean or Japanese cuisine, it's refreshing to see an Italian restaurant not too far from downtown Flushing. We got there around noon on a Sunday and the place was empty. We quickly ordered and while it took a while for the food to arrive, it was well worth the wait. There are enough vegetarian options for anyone in you're party and they also have a lunch special (3 courses - appetizer, entree and dessert). The entree portion sizes are huge and the only issue we all had with food itself was that the pasta sause was really sweet. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert and it that to was delicious! All in all, if you're looking for Italian food in Flushing, definitely check out this place!

Fabio was great.. Thanks Fabio for making our first visit memorable. Food excellent. Can't say enough about this true hidden gem. Pasta is home made. They had this fresh made tri- colored spaghetti. The desserts were generous. As well, the meals size was generous. Shrimp very fresh.

We had a 4 hour NYC layover we took cab (no train from la guardia). Went to the only Italian restaurante in China Town, Magna. It was a great find. Our waiter Fabio was truly Itslian. He was from the lake como and Cicely area. The whole family seemed to be at the restaurant tonight. Food qas great. We had Vitello alla Bolognese, Veal scaloppini with prosciutto and fontina cheese served in a white wine sauce and a special includomg chicken stuffes with mushrooma and fontina with a marsala sauce. We had to.get the chocolate torte with some vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries.

Delicious, quiet, polite and fast service. Always had fresh cold water, refilled bread and had check on the table fast! Definitely reccomend for anyone seeking tasty, fresh Italian with great specials.

I had a wonderful experience! Ambience was great, the food was fantastic and the staff was friendly and efficient! I was just stopping through but would definitely recommend this restaurant!

It's a bit out of the way in Flushing, but man the quality is well above my expectations!

Certainly a bit more expensive than the 2 dollar fried rice right in the heart of Flushing, but if you're in the mood for some proper al dente pasta with great tasting ingredients, this is the place to be.

Honestly I frequent a joint in Little Italy, and the quality of food here blows that place out of the water.

I'll be coming here more often now I know the parking situation.

A really good Italian restaurant IMHO. Linguini with clam sauce - excellent. Grilled shrimp and calamari over arugula - superb. Nice wine selection. I can hardly wait to try the chocolate suoffle. Delicious limoncello. Good service. Will go back soon.

Fantastic first meal for my family in Queens. The staff is kind and has great energy, and the food was all delicious. We had a couple BLTs and the chocolate strawberry pancakes. Everyone left full and happy. Thank you!

This is my second weekend in the city and 4th time eating here. Everything that I had has been nothing but incredible. I grew up in an Italian household and everything I had has reminded me of the great food my grandmother made. The staff are some of the most pleasant people I have met. Fabio and staff are great. Especially Jocelyn. Thank you for showing me the flourless cake with gelato. I am truly addicted. It always tough for me to travel for work being away from home but people and places like this make it so much nicer. I can't wait for my last week only so I can bring my wife to enjoy this place as well.

Breakfast was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and service awesome. It was close to our hotel (Indigo) 4 min walk.

Great meal, great service, great atmosphere! Fabio was our server and was fantastic! Solid wine list as well. Food was delicious! Classic Italian choices. Nicely plated and properly cooked! Prices are reasonable! Overall, a wonderful dining experience! Highly recommend! Buon Appetito!!

My sister had her med school grad after party here and it was great. The price was reasonable, the food was great, the servers were polite and the owner/manager Danny was there the whole night to make sure every need of ours was met. The restaurant has a cute but classy atmosphere (pics didn't do it justice). Yes, the portions were a bit small but since we had arranged for a 3 course meal, it was all filling. Our guests were able to sit down and enjoy the elegant restaurant atmosphere and in between courses were able to head over to the bar area of the restaurant and enjoy shots in a bit more laid back atmosphere. Bottom line: we loved it.
