Queens Public Library at Flushing

Had a fantastic time in this flushing library! I found exactly the book I was looking for, library is very spacious and very clean.

I usually just come here to wind down and read on the side or wait for my company to meet up with me, so my review has nothing to do with the staff since I've never had to interact with them. This place is really helpful, being located in the middle of Flushing. It's always nice to come in and just read to my heart's content.

The best library in NY. Very good working environment. All administration personnel extremelly respectful and helpful. Sometimes it s difficult to find a free place, but nobody will blame you even if you sit on the floor...

WorkForce1 is located here on the third floor they are fast attentive efficient professional places like this need to be supported more. Great experience if you’re looking for a job they were many options but I will say always look for the best option for you don’t rely on anyone to tell you what’s going to workout for you. I’m definitely recommending this to anyone starting new or starting over

The Chinese calligraphy class is great.

The place was huge. When I went here, there was a decent amount of people but you couldn’t notice right away because there was so much space and everyone was spread across the whole building. Very kind staff. A lot of the reviews mention it being noisy but it was very quiet my whole 3 hours there.

Good library with a lot to offer, including books in Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. When you get the library card you'll be on probation for a month, so you can only borrow 5 books during that time.

I liked how lively the library was: people were coming in and out through its doors on this weekday afternoon. I saw different types of people at the library: elderly couples, grade school students, kids... There's also an abundance of tables where people can sit and read.

I love this library, it looks fancier than the other Queens libraries. It’s in the middle of the commercial Flushing area, where the streets are always crowded day and night. There are many librarians and staff on deck to provide assistance. The bathrooms are clean and on the second floor and basement. There are plenty of lounge areas here and there, with a laid back feel. The architecture itself is sleek and modern with high ceilings and large glass windows. There are computers all over the 3 levels to use. The auditorium is in the basement and always has programs. I like the usefulness of this library: it’s serving a lot of people of all ages and needs. I wish all the libraries became like this.

Very huge library. Got everything that a library should and more - books, newspapers , DVDs , music CDs , magazines . Free computer use for 1 hour daily. You can use your own laptop unlimited. You can also print and scan documents. Teen and children sections. Washrooms available. The library is open once again 7 days a week. On Sundays it's open from 12 noon to 5 p.m..

I love how much books this place has! Being from a neighborhood in queens with a much smaller library, I love coming here for the vast variety of library books I can get!

Now they have a scanner! Love the atmosphere and the books! Thank you! The seating can be hard to get sometimes though. I admit.

Truly the best library I've ever been to. Excellent customer service, large selections of Chinese materials, huge theater, wide variety of FREE comprehensive Adult Learning workshops, reliable and decent WIFI, enough plugs to charge your device(s) if you need juice and have nowhere else to charge with a lot of seats scattered all over, numerous art exhibits, enough computers to use with internet and printing capabilities am I missing anything else? Oh Yes opened 7 Days a Week!!!

This is a huge library. I was in high school when this was built. We used to go here all the time to just hang out, sitting on the steps until they're opened. It's on Main Street, by a very busy area filled with lots of Chinese restaurants and food shopping, if you walk a bit further there's retail stores too. Parking is nearly impossible, so I don't recommend it. The 7 train goes there, and multiple buses. They also host lots of free events for the community, and inside it's a very big library, they have DVDs to borrow, as well as computers and printers for use. The outside also looks gorgeous with a glass structure.
