I'm not sure why this location has such a low rating. It's my preferred USPS location, by far.
I forget the man's name because it was unfamiliar to me but I know it started with "Me". He, and Tracy, have both always been so above and beyond nice every single time I've gone here and are the reasons it's my preferred USPS location. Just some of the most friendly workers I've encountered in a customer service situation. 10/10, will always come back.

I am 100% pleased with the customer service I recently received and just had to share! Jodie is absolutely amazing! She is the sweetest, most helpful post office representative I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Post office agents here in Miami are not helpful or nice at all and Jodie went above and beyond to make sure my issue was resolved. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience today. I came in to buy stamps to send out my wedding invitations. I wasn’t sure what type or how many I needed. The gentleman helped me with everything and he was very friendly!

Went to this Post Office this afternoon to send my passport renewal and fill an change of address form and the employees there were the extremely helpful and had a great attitude. It was a pleasant surprise.
The only thing that could have been better has nothing to do with the Post Office. The city of Utica should do something about the pavement from the Tuner St exit along the old Charlestown Building. Nothing has been done for years and its getting impassable.

Thank you Nicole at the Pitcher St location for mailing me my stamps! I was there to ship a package and while there also purchased stamps but I forgot to take them with me. To my surprise Nicole mailed them to me with a nice note. Thanks again Nicole for going out of your way!

USPS in general is good 99% of the time. But the few times they mess up, they mess up bad. Lost packages, no refunds, they are clueless of where they are, money lost, time lost, overpriced fees, bad roads, inconvenient times, impossible customer service over the phone, etc... So yeah, 1 stars in general, unless their customer service improves ..... BUT, my review is for this specific location. It is the only place within like 75 miles that is open late until 5:30 pm, which is nice. And you can drop off packages into the bins on location until 6pm and still have items sent out. The people working there are wonderful, and will work with you in any way to ensure your packages are sent. The location no longer sorts mail, and sends everything to syracuse to process, so sending a letter from utica to utica will take 2 days, but that's not their fault, just how system is setup. Mail delivery guys are always friendly. USPS may suck in general, but this location is great.

Large location meaning more lines (shorter wait). Customer service was wonderful! Staff were in a good mood and happy to share that with everyone who walked in.

This was the best experience i have ever had with any type of government business.. I wish i knew the gentleman s name but he was the nicest kindest and most helpful employee ive ever delt with.. Thanks so much

Among all the post offices around Utica area you can’t find better service than this location. Gentlemen by the of Mesud will make your day, he is very polite professional and knowledgeable. I will only go to main post office because if you need something he is there to help.
USPS you are doing awesome job by hiring people like Mesud. Thank you Mesud!

How do i apply to take the test? I keep getging forwarded to pay $39 for the test? I can pay the money, just dont want yo pay if its the wrong thing?

A busy post office, but the staff are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My favorite mailing place.

Great service center

2.5 years that I havent been here. Needed to come and they were fine.

This is the main post office of Utica. The center hub for the big trucks to deliver mail to be split up for the smaller post offices in Utica & some surrounding areas. They have ample parking here. They are a bit out of the way and not quite were you would expect to find a post office and it can be tricky to get to if you don't know your way around much. This location has the ability to make passports for you and your family. The employees are nice here, except for the plow guy, hate going here in the winter especially. He can be a jerk. On two different occasions & in two different parking spots he pushed snow right up to the handle on my driver's door. Causing me to have to crawl in through my passager door. He did this to an elderly gentleman also, i crawled into his car and moved it back for him so he could get in to drive home. There was no need for him to do this other than too be a jerk. I've parked in many other places while people plowed and yes a ridge of snow is normal if they plow near your car while your parked. But making a wall of snow like this guy does is wrong.

Always so helpful and knowledgeable, always a great experience whether a question about my passport or saving my mail for a few days. Great staff and Thank you
