Old city prime with that old school gangster flare, it's like you've walked into a movie set. The service is impeccable, and oh my Scott will serenade your occasion with one of the purest voices I've heard in a long time.
WAIT.. The food is an upscale steak restaurant. I had the king prime rib (Please have them sear it before the bring to table and what a joy) a perfect medium prime rib with auju ..my my my.

One extra note old city prime has live performances you can attend in their separate upstairs venue. I recommend making an evening out of it eat first then go upstairs to enjoy the concert.

We enjoyed the Urban Jazz Coalition with their mix of smooth jazz, R&B, and Funk. The band was awesome.

Best Steak I have ate in 64 years, Excellent treat for my Wifes 61st birthday, nothing bad only good. Be honest I cant afford to go there except for special occasions but wonderful. I hope this review get to them. Loved it and Thank You !!

We had reservations at 7 before the Shadow of Doubt show in the Upper Lounge. We arrive about 45 minutes early prepared to wait a while for a table. This place was absolutely slam packed. Chris, I believe, was the Maitre D. He was excellent to deal with; Extremely friendly and funny.

Jessica was our server, one of 4 people that assisted our table. She went above any beyond to make sure she checked in regularly and take care of anything we needed. Every staff member we saw was doing an amazing job and they were all welcoming and enthusiastic!

As for the food, we had everything from "The Godfather", appetizers, prime rib, and veal. Everything was delicious. The higher price is worth it when you see what you get. It was an excellent choice to spend our evening. Can't wait to coke back again!!!

My husband and I had heard many wonderful things about this place so for a late Valentine’s dinner we decided to try it out.. We did have a reservation for 8 but we still did have to wait some time before being sat which would be why I was kinda annoyed/ probably more hungry to begin with. But it was ALL made up & worth the wait once you’re seated. The entire staff including the kitchen staff were very very polite. I didn’t catch my servers name but she was amazing along with everybody else who checked on us! To the guy who made our salad at our table (that was the most amazing salad I’ve ever had) the manger even stopping by the table to ask how everything Was. All around amazing. & not to mention it was literally the best food I’ve ever tasted! I’ve never been so satisfied after leaving a restaurant. Definitely worth trying!!!

My husband and I came on recommendation from a friend. Beautiful restaurant and wonderful food. The steak was perfectly cooked as were the sides. Our waitress was so attentive and helpful and the service overall was perfect. The only negative was what we observed from what seemed to be one of the managers. He was so rude to the waiters and servers, even snapping his fingers at one waiter who was doing 3 jobs of cleaning tables, delivering food and singing happy birthays to different tables. The servers and waitstaff were nothing but responsive, helpful and top notch and I couldn't imagine doing such great work then being snapped at like a dog. He needs to do better and appreciate the employees he has.

My first time here as I am traveling on business. The food was amazing. Highly recommend and our waiter has a beautiful singing voice! I heard him singing to a table who was celebrating a birthday!
The filet mignon was like butter in my mouth! I think it was one of the best ones I have ever had! Tableside Caesar salad was so cool! Oh and get that Grasshopper! So good.

The wait staff was incredible and the food was fantastic. My wife and I shared our meals. We got the pork belly app, delmonico with baked potato, bacon wrapped meatloaf with truffle fries, bread pudding and creme brulee as well as a few cocktails. Everything was just amazing and the price was great.

This is a higher-end place so be prepared to spend some money. The steak was amazing. The service, even though they were packed, still checked on us often. Will definitely be returning.

First time being there and I was very impressed. The atmosphere was definitely welcoming ....with the low lighting while you eat and pretty plate placement setting,the food tasted superb and with a wide variety to choose from, the service was excellent and friendly....definitely will come back and highly recommended 👍

I just went there last night with a party of 20 and my waitress Alyssa Brown did an amazing job for my family, was polite and handled everything perfectly, a bartender named Nichole was also nice and did a good job. Would definitely recommend this place for a family night out. 10/10

Absolutely phenomenal! Went here for the first time last night and was not disappointed. Had the bartender recommended a dessert red to go with the chocolate cake, it is now on my list of favorites! Going here again when I next get the chance.

Ate here for the first time last week. Everything was top notch! Our server Stephanie did a wonderful job! Her amazing service really enhanced our experience. I had the wagyu strip steak which was probably the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. It is pricy but it is worth every dollar you will spend. Hopefully we will be able to return soon!

Three members of the party were from out of town (Chicago area) and have many choices in our area for a great steak/seafood meals in an upscale setting. Old city Prime did not disappoint. The tomato bisque soup was fantastic. The salads that the others got were very nice size. Bread was beyond good. My steak was perfect. Two others got fish selections, and the last got the roasted Chicken. All was outstanding. Was there for a birthday celebration and a staff member with a wonderful voice sang happy birthday and had sparklers in the dessert! My aunt was so happy. She felt so special and it was your staff that made that happen. We visit at least once a year and will be back every single time!

This is a one of a kind place in Lima. The food and service is truly amazing but you will pay for it. Perfect spot for anniversary or celebration.

Best food, portions, flavor, and service out of any restaurant. Would go again for any sort of special occasion.

Hands down the best dining experience my husband and I have ever had. Food was top notch, drinks were made so smooth and the staff was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. We will be back!

Exceptional cuisine and waitstaff if you want world class, this diamond is the place. The menu was full of high end meals, with chefs choice as a whole one page[r]. Which included the suggested wine right on the menu, selected by the wine porter. We arrived a little late close to closing on a Friday night, but the host took us no problem, and we had one of the best times. But don't get me wrong, you don't get just a fancy plate with a few drizzles, you get the fancy plate and presentation with PLENTY to eat. Each portion having bursts of taste and prepared very well, no cross taste, fresh, and nothing to me anyway, had a one off. You better be hungry, we ended up taking the side dishes home, by the way they were exquisite meals in themselves. The dessert, wow, can't do it and home, special prepared raspberry base by one of chefs staff, a fluffy cake cream ice, and topped with a 8 inches of home made meringue and a baked. Yum yum three of us could not finish. Definitely the place for a fine evening out with the one(s) that really matter to you, and that you enjoy, in a very classic formal atmosphere.
