Flushing Central Hotel

I had a positive experience at this hotel. It was neat, clean and affordable! The young lady at the front desk was super kind and helpful. Parking was a challenge, but that's NY for you! Other than that, I'd definitely return. I'm also appreciative that they were BIPOC friendly 🤎🖤💛

No problems staying here, it was great for the price. Center of a lot of amazing places to eat and/or drink. No parking nearby, maybe 5mins of a walk if you're lucky. I parked in MPG Parking, do it online and it'll be cheaper. It was about a 6 minute walk.

Its old but gold. I had absolutely no bad experience here. It was clean, it was quiet, it was comfortable. Yes, the room is very old, the wallpaper is peeling, but that didn’t mean that the actual hotel itself was dirty. The bed was extremely clean there was no smells, it was just simply old. It was also very good neighborhood. My first time in New York and I plan to stay at this hotel everytime cause it’s good area.

The hotel was fantastic. Clean and didn't smell musty or smokey. I would definitely recommend staying here. The other nice thing is that it is very close to the subway. I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Flushing Central Hotel. Our room had one queen bed and one single, which worked perfectly for our family of 3. The place was clean and everything seemed to work well in our room. Even up on the 6th floor, we had plenty of water pressure, and there seemed to be unlimited hot water. As the hotel is right across the street from the beautiful St. George's Episcopal Church, an easy to spot famous landmark in Flushing, we never had any trouble finding our way from the station back to our hotel. All we had to do was look for St. George's steeple and head in that direction. The hotel staff were all really nice to us. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to NYC. Thank you!

Great value, and unbeatable location for exploring the "Queens Chinatown ." We felt safe and comfortable. It's basic, which is what we needed. Not new. Not fancy. Great price. Our reservation was in order, the room was ready, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and the staff was always available. No coffee maker or fridge, but they do offer hot tea and sell beverages. We would definitely stay here again.

This is my 3rd stay here as a semi-frequent traveler to NYC. We are very happy with the staff, the location, and the price. It’s not the Waldorf but we weren’t paying Waldorf prices either. The WiFi can be a little spotty depending on the room you are in but we were immediately offered an alternative when we complained. This is hands down a great value with great service.

Let me start by saying this is an amazing hotel! Although it needs upgrade, while staying in this hotel it feels like you are home away from home. It’s very safe and cozy. All Staff members are wonderful, helpful and caring. Plus the location is in the heart of flushing. It’s safe location, restaurants around you , church is in front of the hotel and subway is 1 min away.

We had to stay here after a cancelled flight. They were able to accommodate us at 1:30am, which we so appreciated. I mean, it's a budget hotel, so don't expect much, but we slept soundly and got a complimentary little breakfast in the morning. Right in the heart of Chinatown in Flushing. Not a bad budget choice at all.

Missed the flight so i needed a place to stay at for a night and from locals i was told for good low cost hotels to look in flushing or Jamaica area and i choose flushing because whats around the area and i can tell you the staff was very helpful and got me checked in pretty quick when i really needed it whoever that guy that works the nights is very helpful and i do have this hotel rated as favorite incase i ever get stuck or spend a night in NY again

This is not a luxury hotel. the decoration is regular, but its location is perfect. If you would like to enjoy Flushing main street restaurants, and easy to access to the subway or bus stations, it's within 10 minutes walk. There are also several banks very close to it, such as BOA, Chase and TD bank. The reason is in Flushing, cash is the only accepted way to pay in most shops, with that, you can get a little cheaper price.

I haven't tried their inclusive breakfast, but it's only some basic western bread, coffee, eggs(I guess because I couldn't get up before 9AM before it's over)

The only shortcoming is the hotel is right below the planes landing route to LGA airport. So it can be a little noisy but the sound is not so loud that you can still fall asleep easily(at least for me when after a whole day sightseeing and walking).

Location is actually very central as the name suggests. 3 min walk from q48 bus stop which goes to La Guardia airport without needing to transfer. 5 min walk to several top chinese food courts in the country, and many excellent authentic and fusion asian restaurants for much less than Manhattan. Room is average size for the location which is small. Room was a bit old, but was clean. I wish there was microwave and mini fridge, but thats uncommon for this price range. Price was very reasonable price for this class of hotel when we stayed around mid June. Lobby is in the basement, but there is chairlift elevator at the front which allowed our elder on wheelchair to get to our room. There was free hot water and coffee in the lobby(important for older chinese people), and free breakfast if you can wake up early. Overall, one of the less fancy looking hotels in the area of the same class, but core services you need are all here. Unless you are shopping at a price segment $50 above it, this is a solid choice for the class. I would stay here again.

This is my second stay, although last time it was a Howard Johnson. Great location and value for the money, and very clean with NO BEDBUGS (or any other kind, which is a big deal in NYC especially for less than $300/night). The only thing that has gone downhill is the continental breakfast, which used to have interesting Chinese as well as American food, but now is kind of blah, although fresh fruit is available at least.

Small, but spacious, and perfect for a night or two stay. Good food nearby as well as a parking garage. Ubered to Citi field for a concert and came back to order food to the lobby late-night. Very convenient
