El Rey del Taco Taco stand

Best street tacos I’ve had in SLC. I had 2 asada and 1 spicy pork, and both were great and the gentleman working was really friendly. I added beans, which made it even better. Also loved the sauces and pico. I’ll definitely be back!

Tacos late at night are the best! We were at a party for my wife’s work where they served soup and salad. At the party we were talking about Tacos and someone mentioned El Rey del Taco so we decided to try it out. The barbacoa was awesome. The Al Pastor was pretty good. No spit to carve it off but it was awesome in the moment. My wife had a Al Pastor Quesadilla and she loved it. I’ll keep this place in my rotation of good taco places.

One of the top 5 tacos in my life. So good, so much flavor, I hope they can parlay this into a brick and mortar restaurant. I love when I went to open the cooler expecting to find drinks I found a plethora of toppings and salsas that I could add to the tacos. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Absolutly by far the best tacos I have had in a long time.. well worth every bite... and the prices are excellent..

Carlos' taco truck has some mightyfine street tacos and burritos. This was a staple lunch for me when I lived in Marmalade for 6 years and I still visit occasionally when nearby.
Try the Cabeza (cow head), as it is super tasty , rich and juicy.

Amazing! Some of the best tacos in salt lake city. I love their Cabeza here. This truck has got to be one of the very best taco trucks in the town. There is a line most every time I stop by, but it is well worth the short wait!
A must visit venue.

I had al pastor and asada. I was struck with how much flavor the pastor delivered. Asada was good texture. the selection and flavor of the salas was also excellent.

Victor is the man. The tripe is the best and they make the best tortas. This place has been here since at least 2005, and I know this because I've been eating at this taco stand since then. This taco stand is legit.

This little street vendor cooks with the biggest of hearts. Best tacos I’ve had in a long time! Thoughts like “Wow this is good” occupy your mind as you experience the robust flavor of spices that linger in the streaming juices of the deliciously crafted 100% authentic tacos.

Great affordable tacos great in taste and in price

My favorite taco stand! All their food is delicious and not to mention super affordable. Every time I get a chance I grab food from there and honestly never get sick of their food! And authentic which is always a big plus for me.

I mean they're on the side of a road so that atmosphere is not their fault and I don't hold it against them but their food is amazing and their service is great

Growing up this was always, the place for tacos. In my opinion they serve the best tacos in the state.

This place is amazing. They have another truck on 9th south and state street. Same great food.

Been going here since I was a kid, I’m 21 now and I still can’t get enough of the OG Taco stand on North Temple!

My family and I went to 3 different taco trucks, as we wanted to have a “Battle of the Tacos” kind of day... and El Rey Del Taco Taco stand was, hands down, our favorite!

Delicious, fresh, inexpensive, great sized portions and filling. So good. The employee's are fun too.

Great authentic tacos. There are several taco stands in the area but this one is my favorite so far.
