Yasuda

This is just a little hole-in-the-wall place, but the sushi here is pretty good. The fish is fresh and tasty, the portion sizes are decent, and the prices are reasonable. The service I had picking up my to-go order was also very good. My only complaint is that they don't put enough rice on the rolls. I shouldn't be able to see bare parts of the seaweed around the outside of the roll.

I had a wonderful time going to yasuda. My friend invited me out to lunch with her today and she took me here to yasuda. It is such a nice ambience here and everyone was so kind, warm, inviting, and friendly. They really know how to talk to you and make you feel very welcomed. The food was delicious and very fresh and tasty. It was also so affordable! I will definitely come here again. Top sushi in town for me.

The toro was absolutely divine. So much so I ordered a second serving, both were very lightly seared per request followed by a Toro sushi roll. Washed down with some dry saki. Most pleased.

Yasuda quickly became my go-to sushi spot shortly after moving to Kingston back in 2019. They've always been an extremely reliable place on all accounts; it's great to dine-in and get delivered, either method they always present their delicious sushi in a really neat display. The staff has always been really friendly and through the years have recognized my business there and they really uphold a strong sense of community and comfort through their restaurant. As someone who has a sensitivity to shrimp but loves shellfish and sushi, I have never had an issue with cross-contamination or anything. It's always been a safe and satisfying place to get really delicious sushi.

Excellent sushi, excellent service. Wish I lived closer! (The shumai, miso soup, shrimp tempura rolls and Philadelphia rolls are awesome!!) We had an awesome quiet lunch here :)

Took my son here for his bday dinner and the food was AMAZING. The staff are so friendly! Lovely little place. We'll definitely be back

Really nice spot for the price and quality. The sashimi tasted really good and the rolls were cut very well(not too much rice). Overall really nice sushi restaurant.

My wife & I recently saw Buddy Guy at the Performing arts center and made reservations to dine here. Having lived in NYC and dined at many fine restaurants, We both agree, this place is top notch. I had the Beef Teriyaki diner box and my wife had the Chicken. Excellent, everything in the box was excellent, the tempura, sushi, shumai. We were both very pleased. Even the Miso soup that came with it, and the salad the dressing was excellent. The entire presentation of the meal, very good. Service was good, the waitress were nonstop action and the hostess had an excellent, how to say it, she was just 'aware' of everything and so nice.. What a wonderful dining experience. The house Saki could have been a bit hotter, but I'm not gonna hold that against them. This Place was hopping pre-show, so if you are attending any concert/show at the arts center, I'd recommend you get a reservation, there were people waiting ...

Next time we see a show at the arts center, we'll be dining here again!

Small Japanese restaurant, but don't let the size fool you. Their sushi was amazing! I called ahead and placed an order to go. Very little wait time. Hostess met me as I walked in. I arrived early, and my food was already done. Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area. Parking is in the rear of building with a 30 second walk to the front door.

Hands down the best sushi I’ve had in Hudson valley. Ive tried several places and this is the best. My husband agrees. It’s kind of a hole in the wall- not fancy in the least, but you really won’t mind!

My favorite restaurant in Kingston — and I’m a foodie. Their chefs special roles are consistently excellent, their tempura is crispy, and they have a nice open sushi kitchen. But what makes me come back time and again is the friendly and welcoming service. Love this spot.

We enjoyed the takeout sushi. It also came very fast. I was most pleased by their attentiveness. I’m gluten free, and they called me to explain which rolls in my order included crunch and/or soy sauce. They happily adapted to my needs.

As always a great dine-in presentation, I have had the opportunity to try several items from both sushi and hot kitchen. All good and recommendations sushi entrée and pineapple shrimp. Very nice sake selections. You could bring anyone here who knows/appreciates sushi or those who think fried shrimp is adventurous...

Yasuda is consistently great. As we are vegetarians, they have a good selection of veg entrees and sushi rolls. Their veg roll is my favorite with seaweed salad inside the roll. They are also just super friendly and kind. A real neighborhood spot.

Favorite in Kingston. Always fresh sushi, A++. Local folk . Friendly and comfy w excellent prices.

My daughter and I had dinner here last night — we loved it! The rolls were so fresh and delicious and the service was great — our waitress couldn’t have been nicer. We cannot wait to return ❤.

I had the 3 roll Maki roll lunch special; I got the spicy salmon, tuna avocado, and shrimp tempura rolls. The order special instructions for delivery were followed exactly and the food was delivered before the estimated time. Everything was fresh and tasty. One of the best sushi places in Kingston.
