Wonderful seafood, always fresh. The atmosphere is nothing but the table service was friendly and accommodating. We ordered 4 soft shell crabs to go and they were fresh and delicious as well.

Super nice staff (family run, three generations), extremely good seafood that's fried perfectly, at very reasonable prices. The Fisherman's Platter is a first place winner. The clam roll is a knock out. If we lived closer, we'd visit constantly. Kids both loved the broccoli & cheddar florets (fried nuggets of cheesey broccoli).

I'm giving five stars, ignoring the look of the places (it's not nice looking at all), because, honestly, most seafood shops don't look great. This is definitely best in the area.

Wonderful hidden gem with great fried seafood. Really one of the only places like it I've ever been to outside of a chain fish and chips place like Nathan's. Great for lunch, but heavy, so try and follow it with a light schedule!

Been coming to this deli since 1994. Anytime I'm around Kingston I'm sure to go and eat at the Sea Deli. Always fresh and delicious seafood,and always quiet, clean, with good service and very pleasant employees. Love to have their lunch.

Very kind people, serving the freshest fish, both in the market and fried at the table! Everything is made there in the restaurant, from the delicious Cole slaw to the tartar sauce. If you like fish, this is the place to come. You will enjoy!

While the sea deli is in a transitioning (but safe) neighborhood in kingston and looks pretty unassuming from the exterior I would highly recommend it to out of towners and to ulster county locals who have never been!

Their Chowder and Bisque is hearty and delicious. The fish and chips is great and they have scallops by the half dozen. Really, all kinds of very good, reasonably priced seafood.

The specials are on point and their fresh fish by the pound is terrific as well!

I don't know who this first review was written by, but I sincerely doubt his review is accurate. Christmas orders are logged and all orders are filled based upon that list. The list is checked several times before the actual holiday. If people come in during holidays and they say they have ordered, we find their order and give it to them. If, for whatever reason, the order is not there, it is filled immediately by whomever is working. Therefore, this person would've gotten their shrimp. If there are any questions about orders, you will receive a phone call prior to the holiday. Our shrimp is not expensive but is the best quality in town. You can order sizes not available elsewhere. Our fried dinners and fish by the pound are the best in the area and are available for Christmas Eve pick-up (and during the year).

Fantastic little fish deli in Kingston- everything was extremely fresh and delicious. The raw clams were outstanding and the fried dishes were cooked beautifully (not too much oil, fresh oil, not too much batter, and very fresh ingredients). Everything was great- clams, oysters, fish filet, shrimp, and scallops. I definitely recommend for a fried fish day.

I can speak for a number of people in my family who are here with us or watching from heaven. I have wondeful memories shared at the Sea Deli with my granparents and mother. It is UNDOUBTEDLY the BEST seafood resturant in Ulster county. Not to mention best deals when buying in bulk to cook at home. The service is exceptionally accommodating and the people who work there are always polite and patient with me and my kids. not sure what the first reviewers issues where but it doesn't sound like the Sea Deli I know....... GREAT JOB and God Bless everyone who works there. ( by the way i dont work there or know anyone that does this review is pure honesty)...

Been coming here for years, Frank's fish never disappoints. Always flaky and tender, and when the soft shell crab is in season, you want to get there early!

This is the best sea food place to go to it may look like a shack but the food is delicious and the owners are fantastic I definitely recommend for y'all to come check it out

Fish is always fresh. The fried food is as good as you'll get in New England. And the prices can't be beat

Sea Deli, in Kingston, NY, fish market with small cafe attached, an old place, and not fancy by any means, serves the freshest and best fried fish, scallops, shrimp, calimari, clam strips on the eastern seaboard.

Bought some halibut and scallops at a good price. Enjoyed the chat w the owners while there. An old school vibe.
