Crystal Spring Wine & Spirits

Great place that oddly has pretty high end wines too. Come here regularly for all kinds of things, owner and his wife are very friendly and give my kiddo free candy all the time!

Extreme ripoff and highly unfriendly masked bandit behind the counter. Currently advertising 20% off going out of business sales, but here is what I purchased before I realized that I got screwed (comparing with Total Wine):
Chambord 750ml $45.99 (Total Wine: $33.99)
Cointreau 375ml $35.99 (Total Wine: $19.99)
Grand Marnier 750 $35.99 (Total Wine: $26.99)
Masked bandit gave me a $25 discount resulted in me paying $20 more than buying without a discount at Total Wine.
I wonder why they are going out of business? I normally like to sponsor mom & pop shops, but not if they are price gouging and then unfriendly when confronted. No thanks. Good riddance. Buyers beware!

Got a $50 bottle of Walker as a gift. It came in a box. Looked sturdy enough. Walked out and the bottle slipped right out the bottom of the box smashed on the ground. Not really the stores fault except everything in this place had a layer of dirt and dust on it and seems like stuff sits on shelves for quite awhile. So just generally I would avoid it

The owner is rude, crude and has a NEGITIVE ATTITUDE about EVERYTHING! - DO NOT SPEND ANY OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IN THIS PLACE - Every THING you can buy here is WAY CHEAPER, Better and Fresher at SAFEWAY ACROSS THE STREET - DO NOT EVEN GO INSIDE THE CRYSTAL SPRINGS BEER & WINE STORE for any reason - THIS IS A BAD PLACE - DO NOT EVEN ENTER IT - VERY BAD KARMA!
A word to the wise is sufficient - you have been warned - take you business some place else - any where else - anywhere else is better than the Crystal Springs Wine & Spirts store in San Mateo California!
