Hot Rocks Steakhouse

This steakhouse in the middle of Saugerties on 9W is now my favourite place to go. Had my daughter's 19th birthday here. The owners were more than accommodating to help me celebrate my daughter's birthday. The portions were huge the food was awesome. The service was great they gave me enough time in between each portion and each part of my meal that I was able to finish most of it. This is one of the few places in the Hudson Valley that I am gone spent under $200 left fat happy and had plenty to drink. And yes I only had one beer and I was the designated driver but my party definitely had stuff to drink and the bill was not overwhelming. Back to the service. The gentleman who was our server was phenomenal… top-notch. The drinks were cold they came out fast and they always make sure that our drinks were filled. The birthday celebration was capped off with my daughters Mini cheesecake and cotton candy ensemble that was brought to the table by the chef herself. Diondra Naccarato I cannot thank her enough for the wonderful meal the service the ambience the smalltown feel and the Hometown Feel that displace provides the village of Saugerties and the Kingston area and surrounding areas. Is 2nd to none. If you haven't gone Go now. The hot bread was phenomenal the tortellini soup was phenomenal The chicken was phenomenal in everything that I ate I can't say enough good things about.

So it's been a few years since I have been here. Recently it was sold and I was pleasantly surprised by the new menu and of coarse having a special menu for St. Patrick's day was a treat. Everything from he service to the food was excellent.

This is a great place to go out! I had the Ahi Tuna nachos first, it was reasonably priced and delicious. They had a good beer, wine and drink selection, I had a great local brown ale. To follow up I had their Honey Hot wings, again the flavor was fantastic, they were cooked just right and the price was reasonable. The ambiance of the restaurant is well put together. My favorite part of the experience was the staff, Jeff was the bartender and did a great job. One of the owners and the chef also came out and introduced themselves, they were very nice. All in all, a great experience and I will absolutely be back. Hope to see you there!!!

I went there recently for dinner. I had heard it was good but I found Not just good but Great. I started with the lobster bisque and Wow! Chunks of real lobster meat, creamy buttery, Delicious! Next a salad with Real homemade blue cheese dressing. Another 😯! But The knockout was the spinach and lobster risotto😯😯😯! Perfect 👌! Creamy, firm to the tooth not mushy and the portions! Service was on point and in keeping with CoVid precautions, Every time a customer left, Everything was Thoroughly sanitized. I can’t wait for my next visit.

Unexpectedly exceptional! Wasn’t too sure because of a recent review or two, so we started with the calimari app and we’re pleased enough to continue to entrees. His shrimp and scallops were perfect. I had a special- the caprese salad with chicken. Large portions and fresh ingredients. The bartender was gracious and the atmosphere open and inviting. We will definitely be back!

Unassuming location, building and ambiance, but their kitchen and wait staff are pros. Oysters were as good as any chophouse I've ever been to and only $2each. Fish entrees were perfectly cooked and we'll balanced flavors. They put out soy sauce instead of balsamic for a side salad ... But it was kind of interesting so we didn't even say anything haha. A few other little touches made for a very nice outing! Will have to try the steak next time.

Superb steak and Filet! Now on my list of go-to for quality well prepared and presented food!

What a wonderful dinner house I took my husband out for his birthday I don't even know how the owner knew it but surprised him at the end with a nice little gift it was so sweet the food was excellent the steak was mouth-watering and the service was phenomenal. We'd go again anytime!

Always good food and nice people here, haven't ever had or even heard of a single bad experience at this place. The updated menu is a huge improvement on an already good menu, with more dishes that are as delicious and fresh made as they come.

Amazing stake. All the food from beginning to end was great - the starter salad, bread and stake with 2 sides. This place underpromises and overdelivers. A nice surprise! Decor is odd, but that doesn't matter when the food is great.

Everything was great! The amount of food you get is beyond belief and very very good. Our waiter Tristan was wonderful definitely will be back.

Professional staff, amazing food, love the bread. The chicken parm was great, good sauce, large wine menu for pairing. Would highly recommend.
