Really cool, classic Irish pub atmosphere and food. Parking is slightly challenging, but doable - worst case you might have to walk a few blocks. Irish egg rolls were amazing, just a little pricey

Excellent pub atmosphere inside and outside dining. Great wait staff!!! The menu is well-rounded with a plethora of food and drink choices. The Ruben eggrolls, Cobb Salad, Fish & Chips, Chowder, and everything else you would want in a pub atmosphere. This is a popular restaurant and pub, parking side and rear. Quaint architectural structure! Great place for a night out.

STILL! Good food and value. Ambience is really nice, interior pretty much is designed as a resto-pub. For the price, the servings are generous. Really like their draft Guinness beers.

Also, just recently discovered that this is the original building used ever since they started in the late 1800s. Wow! Given they're still running and thriving to this day, that pretty much tells you all you need to know about the quality of the food and drinks they serve. Recommend 100% and will obviously come back.

I ordered the Ruben and it was amazingly delicious 😋 probably the best I've ever ate! The key lime pie was fabulous as well. I've been posting pictures on Facebook and get the word out about this hidden gem 💎. Will definitely be back!

A historic bar and restaurant that dates back to the late 1800s and offers great food and drinks. Their patio is small, but offers great people watching during the warmer weather months. But inside is great also. I've been going here occasionally for about 20 years, and have never been disappointed.

Cailyn was our server.
She was great, super friendly and such a good vibe in the place. Loved the atmosphere.
Their hot wings were a good choice

This is one of my go to places in Old Dublin. I have tried many of the appetizers and entrees. My favorite is the Shepards Pie! It is delicious and a large portion. Some of my other favorites are the soups, Hooley eggs, Irish Kettle Dinner, and especially the fish and chips. I always have such a hard time deciding what to get. The atmosphere is cozy inside on the cold days, but I highly reccommend sitting outside on the sunny days. They have a small patio and is close to nearby shops that you can visit when you are finished. This is one of Old Dublin's most popular restaurants!

Shepherds pie and Irish Kettle entrees were excellent ! Wait was quoted at 35 minutes but was nowhere near that long- only drank about a fourth of my beverage before a table opened up. Food came out quickly and was really good. Will definitely be back!

Friendly service is only scratching the surface! When you approach this quaint restaurant, it's inconspicuous and unassuming - yet welcoming. As soon as you enter, you feel at home. The place is cozy and feels very old, yet just modern enough. The decor takes away a bit of the charm as it's heavy on your typical bar flair, yet the feeling of an old Irish pub isn't lost. The staff, everyone member we encountered, was friendly and engaging. They were quick to offer recommendations and their candid opinions (when asked) on dishes and available beverages. Drinks were delivered promptly and our food arrived shortly after it was ordered, even though the place was nearly at capacity. Our food was delivered piping hot and did not disappoint! The fish and chips were excellent - a classic dish that paired well with a pint of Guinness. If you're looking for a spot that captures the magic of an Ireland pub without actually traveling to Ireland, you can't do much better than this.

I loved the place. The Reuben was good and so were the fries. My kids loved the chicken tenders. Everything came out fast and hot. The atmosphere is comfortable and the playlist was better than most. It is definitely going to become a regular stop for us.

Great food and drinks. I really enjoyed the fish and chips and auld fashioned. My girlfriend also really enjoyed the Irish stew. The atmosphere feels relaxed and the tavern is very rustic.

Great food, fast friendly service. Portion size was adequate, enough to fill you up. Had the kettle dinner and it had a lot of flavor. Worth the visit.

Birthday experience for my two friends in my bible study. Excellence service. Zero wait time before 5pm on Saturday. Has the meatloaf (pretty good), Shepard’s pie and Fish & chips (highly recommend). Their delicious key lime pie and carrot cake are both shareable side. Our waiter was awesome and gave both Moses and Danielle free cake for their birthday.

Parking tip: park behind the tavern or keep circling on the street because cars are constantly coming and leaving. If you want guaranteed parking, and don’t mind a short walk, park in the parking garage, just north of W. Dublin Granville, next to the library.

Great place to seek out if you visit Columbus! The appetizer egg roll was amazing! The soup was super delicious! And the sliders were pretty tasty too, and nice hot fresh fries. Fries tend to be the judgement of great places.

Worth the hassle of finding a parking spot. Stopped for lunch on a Saturday. Busy at 1:00 but no waiting for a table.
Debra was our server, very efficient and considerate.
We shared a full house salad and the pan roasted salmon. The fish came with veggie of the day which on this day was asparagus and rice with mushrooms. A glaze was on the salmon. Very good!
I got a cup of the House chowder. Potato based with ham and just enough jalapeños to add some spicy warmth. Get it if you’re there on a cool day.
We also shared the triple Irish brownie with ice cream. It was big enough to share!
Our first visit and we’re looking forward to bringing our out of town friends.

We were there on a Wednesday during lunch hours but they were still fairly busy which I think kind of proves how popular they are, at least locally?
I was surprised that I didn't find more info on them beforehand as I am always on the lookout for a good Irish spot.
Before we had even started sharing the Root Beer Waffle, my wife and I both agreed that this had been the best, most authentic Irish meal we'd ever eaten.
Irish egg roll and Cooley Eggs were crisp and delightful starters, the braised beef Shepards Pie and Irish Kettle dinner were equally amazing.
If you like cider, try the Magners. You can't get it in many places and it is authentic Irish. Just know you're limit because they'll sneak up on ya! 😅
