Song Long Restaurant

Family ran business. Came from Vietnam many years ago. Felt like a home cooked meal to me. Love the decor because it reminds me of home. Overall, the food is great!!!! Everything on the menu is so tasty. Got soup and the mom and her son kept refilling my bowl. This will be my go to viet place. I recommend everyone to come here. Bring your friends and family!!

I picked up carryout for me and my daughter today. She had the bahn mi, I had the Bun Bo Hue Soup, and we split the fried spring rolls. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Will definitely be back soon.

Recent conversation with a friend of mine got me craving Pho, and I was going to be in the area for an appointment this afternoon. Gave them a call and the owner set up an order for me by adding veggies to the lunch bun bo hue - spicy beef pho. It took less than 15 minutes for them to have the food waiting for me on the countertop when I got there, my order set up in the credit card machine for me to just insert the chip, take my bag, and dip. The owner was friendly, as he was on the phone, and I headed out to enjoy.

Sat down at a nearby park and was very pleasantly surprised with the amount of food I got for $8. More importantly, I was blown away by the complex flavors the full bowl gave. The spiciness of the soup was perfect, the broth was rich, lemongrass and lime adding subtle touches of sweet and tart. They really did add a good amount of veggies, but I can't tell if they took out some beef because of it... Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of food there, but a small serving for the protein in a lunch bowl. I will most definitely have to try them again for dinner.

I've been on a Phö hunt lately and this place is hands down the best pho in Cincinnati. Product and services was better than Pho Lang Thang by a mile!

I got the chicken pho with veggies to go. It was HOT, came with all the things ( sriracha, hoisin, lemon, bean sprouts, mint, jalapeno, and then the chicken and veggies).

On top of the great service and amazing phö this place was AFFORDABLE. 10/10

I eat here whenever I can! The pho is top notch and I love the warm and friendly atmosphere!

My family has been eating at Song Long for almost 20 years. We come for holidays and family celebrations. Comforting, delicious, and high quality meals. Our favorites include bo luc lac, bahn xeo, goi cuon, bun salad. The Vietnamese iced coffee is indulgent. As depicted in the photograph, the "crunchies" [as we've said since we were kids] come on the table and the tea is a must. I took that picture to send to my dad to make him jealous :p

Importantly, this place serves up the best crab rangoons I have ever had. Everyone that I bring to Song Long agrees with that crab rangoon testimonial. The decor is interesting and beautiful, especially the table cloths, large family photograph, and the silk embroideries. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Song Long has been in my life since childhood and I get the best nostalgia when I come in. The family owners are exceptionally kind and remember you and what you like.

When I moved away for a year, I missed Song Long so much. I tried every Vietnamese restaurant in the area and none were up to snuff. I can taste the bahn xeo now.... mmmm

As I write this review I read on their website that they are closed, permanently, as of 01 JUL 2022. That's unfortunate considering how good the food was.

The food was comfort food at its best and will become one of my fav watering holes for Vietnamese thank you guys can't wait to stuff my face there again.

The service is always friendly. The food is great! I've had two vegetarian dishes that were excellent and the Calamari appetizer is excellent. All in all, we have had soups, salads, entrees, and always a Vietnamese coffee for dessert. We have always been satisfied with our service and or food. They are family friendly, and a nice atmosphere to relax and enjoy a quiet dinner.

I had the beef curry. Very good. The meat had a good tender texture. The curry was spicy, but not too hot. Had great curry flavor.

The best of all was the Ban Boa. 40 years ago I lived across the street from a place that served their steamed buns with a boiled egg inside. Ever since then I have measured a restaurant by that standard. This is the only place since then that had the egg inside! I was so happy. However, the flavor was a bit on the dry and bitter side for the meat in the bun. It could be better. I added hoisin sauce to help it.

I would recommend this restaurant.

Song long is always my go to Pho cravings although its a little far from my place I make sure this is the only place I can have it. And the curry wings is also the best wings,a little different from the usual wings you get from other restaurant. Service is great as well. Always recommend it for authentic vietnamese dish.

Hidden gem. No big sign, no fancy menu. Solid food. Good service. Great value. The lunch crepe is a wonderful reminder of the connection between French and Vietnamese cuisine and is truly delicious.

My son and his wife love this restaurant, so I had to visit after hearing so much about it. It was fantastic. The woman that helped us was kind, the food was awesome and the prices reasonable. You must try it.

I've been to the song long since I was a kid the Lee's a wonderful family who have served the community for decades. Everything on the menu is great and can't go wrong with anything you order. But personal favorites I would recommend is the soups the Bun Bo Hue, Pho, bun salad, cold sesame noodles and the curry fried chicken wings.

Best pho in the city. They have both lunch and dinner portions which is helpful. Everything else I’ve had has been wonderful, as well. Family owned and friendly folks who remember you and your orders. I gladly recommend this place whenever Vietnamese food comes up.

I have been here several times and each time is the same. Good service and great food. Their Pho is legit and the spring rolls are the best in the city. If you like Vietnamese cuisine, you will love this place.

Look up Pho near me on Google maps and here I sit. Basking in an atmosphere of authenticity. The music is soothing and I feel like I'm not in the city right now. Awards cover the walls reassuring me I picked a good spot. I mean Google did but it's so yummy. I'm glad to find this place. I would recommend it for authentic Vietnamese and Chinese foods. I'll be back with Mom.

The food is authentic and really tasty. Highly recommend the shrimp rolls; Nothing in the city comes close to being as good. The owners are so sweet, they take the time to greet customers and make sure everything taste good.
