Never Ending Cycles

I was fortunate to stumble across Ben and NEC a couple of years ago when looking for a builder who shared my vision, attention to detail and who could build a quality bike I could ride every day or place in a show for a weekend.
What I got was exactly that - most importantly it runs smooth, the mods - in particular the brakes and front end - make it handle like a new bike and yet it’s a head-turner. I’ve had people honk and give the thumbs up, follow me to the gas station and of course neighbors over to go through all the details and listen to it growl.
The bike has had a couple of trade rag stories and this ‘Best of’ recognition.
I’m not easy to please, am as picky about finishes and engines and specs as they come, but Ben took the time to work those things out and deliver a quality product exactly to my specs. He and Jess both had great ideas about fit and finish on the bike and made sure in the end that everything was exactly right with the bike when I took delivery. It is even more awesome than I imagined.
I would highly recommend NEC for your custom build or just your occasional bike service and update and I plan to be back one day to do another build with them.

Ben and Jess of NEC are amazing. I had them finish up ‘77 Kawasaki I inherited. When I told them I wanted to sell it or trade it in for something a bit more my size they also then found me a buyer and a ‘74 Honda that was just what I wanted.
For both bikes they were (and still are) super transparent in explaining things and with this new bike they’ve been great with design suggestions and ideas. The work they do is great and the atmosphere in the shop is so friendly and inviting.

I’ve currently been working with Ben and Jess at NEC on a custom bike build for a Honda CB450. It’s been a good experience so far going through the process. Great discussing recommendations and suggestions for overall bike concept and any mechanical upgrades. I’m looking forward to the finished product!

I found Ben through IG when looking for help on my bike in my area. I wanted my old barn stored Honda road worthy and he worked with me on the necessities to get it up and running. What I got was a show bike that runs great and super fun to ride... more than I expected. Sure it took awhile and there's always hiccups with vintage bikes but I know I can reach out to Ben and Jess and they can assist me along the way without issue. 10/10
