If you're near Urbana, this is a must stop for great food & service to match!! The cashew chicken salad w/ the house dressing is a unique combo & absolutely delicious!! The club is massive & tasty! The chocolate chip cookies are amazing!!
My son got the cinnamon roll warmed & it was gone before I could snap a pic, lol! Luckily, I got one to go & we both agree that it has to be one of the best we've ever eaten!!
The dough is soft, flavorful, & is perfection!

The cod, broccoli salad and cucumber and onions were perfect. I make these myself and cannot beat the taste. Rolls were served warm, absolutely give them a try. We’ve never been disappointed.

Love visiting here every time I go to Ohio to visit my family. Great food, clean atmosphere, welcoming staff. Food has always been prepared as ordered.
Nice little country eatery. Have even taken home pies and Texas sheet cake from here. All were amazing!!!

First timer.
Arrived during "as busy as it gets." Checked in for a party of one and was told they'd get me seated as soon as they could. The dining room is full of 6-tops and 4-top booths at the windows. I looked around to see if there were any other singles waiting, but didn't see any.

Drink order was taken and delivered quickly. This gave me time to look at the menu. I wanted to try many things and couldn't decide. I turned to the back page and saw it: Mac and cheese with meatloaf and onion rings. When the waitress took my order, her eyes lit up, "Good choice. That's my favorite!"

A few minutes later it arrived. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy. The meatloaf had a great texture and flavor. The onion rings added additional flavor and some crunch.

The serving size was nice and left room for dessert. However, because I had a 20-mile bike ride home, I passed on the sweet finish.

I'll be back!

Delicious breakfast spot! The parking lot was packed so I anticipated a wait but we were served promptly. The BISCUITS N GRAVY were my favorite! A close second was the FRENCH TOAST. I should've saved room for their desserts but alas, maybe next time.

Delicious food and wonderful customer service. A local favorite and a must stop for non locals. Whenever I am back in town I always stop here for breakfast or brunch. Always make sure to get a pie before you leave!

Went for lunch. The service was great and the grilled cheese was really good. Will definitely go back and try something else. My friend really enjoyed the broccoli cheese soup.

Club sandwich was great and large! The desert list is crazy and chocolate chip cookies are one of the best I've had.

A good down-home atmosphere with delicious food and good service! They have creative breakfast options, a beautiful dining room and cute gifts! The server we had was very personable! We even heard that the chef was feeling fancy that day and made a cute design on my pancakes with whipped topping. So, of course, I had to take a picture! The pancakes were enormous and I had to get a to-go box. They were just as good re-heated as they were fresh! I'd love to go again!!

I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese. Food was phenomenal! Definitely will be coming back! One of the best restaurants out there.

It's a wonderful place, grea food and service. I recommend this place if you live near by or are passing through 10/10.

Great local restaurant for breakfast and lunch only. They have a large variety of both sandwiches and full meals. And the desserts are great, too. Large portions of foods served. Worth the drive!

Cute little diner. Service was excellent and food was good, just a little bland (we had chicken and noodles). My son loved the quesadilla, and the large baked potato really is a meal by itself! Sweet potato fries make an excellent side choice.

This place is perfect. They have an excellent selection of food which is consistently tasty at very reasonable prices. We hold semi-monthly meetings here and month after month the waitstaff is helpful and friendly with always excellent service. Food comes out quick, the pre-meal rolls are so tasty, and the after-dinner treats are scrumptious, especially the cookies. Although we are generally a group of professionals, we often see families gathered here, and I've brought my daughter with me before and can't recommend it enough for everyone from the very young to the older crowd. The upgrades and redecorating are super classy with a farm flair (including a tractor on the front porch!), and the whole place is always clean, and cleared quickly. Overall: highly recommended!

Comfort food and cozy atmosphere. Fast and friendly servers. There's a bakery with the same name next to the restaurant ... the pie selection is great , but will try the pie in the bakery during our next visit.

I’ve eaten a lot of cinnamon rolls; these are the best I’ve ever had. Being a Michigan alum, this is tough to admit. I don’t like much about Ohio other than the wrestling and the food, but these cinnamon rolls are world-class. The frosting is sweet but not too sweet. The rolls are perfectly soft even at the end of the day. There’s just the right amount of frosting. It’s hard for me to imagine a better cinnamon roll. And the one time that I’ve eaten non-dessert food from The Farmer’s Daughter (omelette and toast), it was delicious too.
