If you're looking for a delicious Breakfast sandwich look no further than Bobby’s Place.

Conveniently located on Lake Avenue between Ralphs and the 76 Gas station I picked up a breakfast sandwich to go! I ordered my sandwich with ham, eggs, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo and it was better than any sandwich I could have made at home! (you may have to pay just a little bit extra for the bacon 🥓 but it's worth it! trust me 😉)

Bobby and the team were friendly and the space was inviting and cozy and reminded me of how restaurants used to be as a kid growing up in Pasadena. There is a beautiful panoramic wallpaper of all the Pasadena historic landmarks which makes for good selfies 🤳 . Going to come back and get a cheeseburger for lunch sometime! 🍔👌🏽🌹

Just as I remember it. Had the classic 3 tacos and order of fries like the good ol days. Even better than I remember. Great work keeping Ricks alive guys! Can't wait to come back and try all the new items! We need another one an hour east!

Where else can you get 'BREAKFAST TACOS? They are totally bomb. You need to go to Bobby's and try them. Kind of small, so get four, only $6 out the door. Trust me, they are so good!

And friendly service, reasonable prices, and easy parking (at Ralph's parking lot, 100' away).

I was so heartbroken 💔 when Rick's Drive-in on walnut closed up. I spent many years eating there at all hours of the day and night during my high school years and my 20s. it was hands down my favorite spot for crunchy ground beef tacos... fast forward to present, I was SO EXCITED TO LEARN that 2 original employees from Rick's took over the business (NOW CALLED BOBBY'S PLACE) and have resurrected what many of us locals loved for years. yes the food still tastes amazing like before and they continue the legacy... YOU MUST GO HERE! I have driven all the way from north Hollywood just to grab some tacos only and then have headed back home. I love this spot. and you will too

I have fond memories of the old/original "Rick's" burger/burritos spot on El Molino and Walnut St. Stepping into Bobby's gave me that same nostalgic feeling. The food is still good!! They've added bacon to the menu. Everyone knows that "Everything tastes better with bacon!"
Our burgers were just as we ordered and the fries....salt to fry ratio was perfect.
It was also good to see our local "celebs" (Johnny Long) dining when we walked in... just like back in the day!
This spot is definitely a hidden gem in Pasadena. Don't sleep on Bobby's....it's amazing spot with sports playing on the TV, you can't go wrong! Can't wait to go back!

Oh and Bobby...I am glad that you survived the Covid pandemic.

This place is so bomb…. Beef and bean burrito with extra cheese and extra burrito sauce… So good!!! Also, one of the very few places that you could still get an orange bang at. Don’t bother with chunky Taco Bell or Dell taco down the street… Definitely go here and support a local small business!!!

I moved back here recently and realized Rick's burrito was no longer on Walnut Blvd. Found out Wednesday that it moved and is now called Bobby's burgers. I went Thursday!! Found a new favorite, Jalapeño fries. Everything was as I remembered, very tasty and great portions.

Bobby's Place was such a gift to stumble upon. The food was fantastic but Bobby himself (pictured) and his staff were the cherry on top. They joked with me, made me laugh, and made me feel at home. Come visit this gem!

I've tried many a delicious breakfast burrito in my day and I have to say the ones at Bobby's Place are among the best I've ever eaten. Consistently tasty with a perfect potatoe/egg/cheese/meat/sauce ratio. Always served with a smile, I definitely recommend them!

It's been a few years since I've been back. Place is still the same. I still love the tacos and fries. Remember to say you want the tacos hot

My favorite burritos ever starting in 1986 when it was Rick's.
The staff is THE BEST and I've watched them pay for people's meals, laugh together, and there's a longevity and loyalty that this place just calls for.

I honestly haven't tried the burgers, but I can say that the Mexican food is delicious. Not sure why you'd go to TB or Del Taco and pay $2 for a taco, when for a quarter more you get fresh ground beef, cheese, lettuce, and slice of tomato. And free fresh salsa if you're so inclined (vs. a hot sauce packet). Plus, the meat is not greasy at all, so unlike TB the shell stays extra crispy. Highly recommended.

The best chicken strip I ever eaten hands down, and they have a breakfast taco you will fight over. And everything is made fresh, they don't even have a freezer in the spot. I highly recommend if you're in Pasadena you stop in for some great food

Good place for some yummy food from a the burritos to a classic burger. You can't go worry friendly service and never have had a problem with my order. Toca's are the best you know the cheese just makes it even better.

Love this place! The spuderito with beef is amazing; I have been eaten their taco bowl for lunch two days in a row. It is so, so good. It is served in a giant fried tortilla, a layer of beans, iceberg lettuce, ground beef and tomato tossed in a green cilantro dressing. It's then topped off with some shredded cheese and I buy a container of ranch on the side. The owner Bobby and everyone there are super friendly as well. Give it a try!
