To hear the frogS'ong was genuinely surreal! seriously! just so succinctly synchronously sublime an experience in auditory sensation as a step into the ecstatic ethereal enlight, especially at twilight.

Well maintained nature preserve. Also great for educational purposes. The Simon Kenton bike/walking path goes past it.

This is a nice place to visit to be out in nature. You can easily get to Cedar Bog off of the Simon Kenton bike trail 5 miles outside of Urbana if you choose to get there that way. There are public restrooms right inside the welcome center and be sure to check out all the information and exhibits there before you start your walk. You can get free maps and so many free information guides there too ! I highly recommend this place ! I will have to be sure to return during the fall season too. It's peaceful. Nice. I liked watching all the dragonflies buzz around and there's lots of little lizards running around on the boardwalks. They are funny little creatures. I looked around for snakes too but didn't spot any, thank God. Will be back ! ✌😎🌲🌿⛅🦎🦉🦋🐝🐍

We had a wonderful time. There is a donation fee of $5.00 per person. No pets as it is a Nature Preserve. There were volunteers on the boardwalk that were quick to answer questions and highlight some of the foliage and animals. The entirety is a boardwalk trail with benches placed throughout to take a rest if needed. The nature center and gift shop was nice. All the workers/volunteers were incredibly sweet.

The boardwalk trail is awesome! One of the best I’ve ever been on. The visitor center is very informative and welcoming. I will definitely be back to witness the different natural events that will happen throughout the year.

This place is spectacular! All trails are boardwalks and the scenery is just beautiful all times of the year. You pay $5 per person to get in but it's honestly a great deal and they have multiple packages to choose from if you visit regularly (and I highly recommend you do). There are not very many nature walks that allow for physically compromised persons to enjoy but Cedar Bog is one of them. Just stunning!

Took the kids to Boo in the Bog. The kids loved it! Great place to get close to nature, hike, and see what Ohio wilderness really was. Very friendly knowledgeable staff.

Very interesting fen nature area, not a true bog. Easy walk with lots to see and learn. Very well done, and we didn't get to see the nature center.

This location is a real gem. Multiple habitats and good educational stops about the plants and animals found there. The boardwalk loop is easily walkable in an hour. Especially vibrant in the spring - love this place!

The lady in the visitor center was so friendly and showed the grand kids all the neat things they have on display with lot's to touch and see doing a great job explaining and answering questions. The boardwalk is awesome as it takes you around the bog. We saw quite a few animals and plants you won't find anywhere else. Ohio is lucky to have preserved this lovely area. We want to see it in the spring!

A wonderful spot through thick brushes and bright expanses where you can see and hear cool birds and some exceptional flora. Wooden path recently refashioned. Historic nature and scenic public paths. Apply some bug spray!

A great place for a walk and to lean about what the environment was like before we were here.

This is a great place! There is so much variety in the habitats the trail goes through that you get to see a lot of different plant communities. May and June are good wildflower and sundew viewing. In July a lot of the forest/wetland blooms are finished but the prairie system on the way in is really great. People have mentioned seeing salamanders but I think they might mean the three lined skinks. First Evers from here: Sundews, skinks, and hummingbird moths (crazy!!!!)

We come here constantly with our toddler. She loves bugs and running along paths in nature so it's a great way to keep her happy and be surrounded by beautiful nature. I personally wish there wasn't so much still water/mosquitos, but that's what makes it a bog! Come prepared for that!
