Good Company (Akron)

We came with a party of 8 for a birthday dinner and were accommodated with ease by the entire staff. Hands down the best wings I’ve had in Akron - so good that I forgot to take a picture. Cocktails were unique and flavorful, and the entrées were outstanding. We ordered a wide variety meals, and they all came with terrific portion sizes. The Good One burger stood out among the rest! I look forward to coming back often with friends for a good meal and drink!

An excellent new restaurant in Akron. Love the decorations - cool neon sign and good framed paintings. The food is perfection - best wings in Akron. We tried the Buffalo, Thai chili, and BBQ. Thai Chili was my favorite - and my fiance loved the buffalo. We also got Celery Root with BBQ seasoning on it and it was incredible. Never had celery root before but now I'm in love. Can't wait to come back!

Went here for the second time Saturday 3/9. We had a great experience for the second time! The wings are my favorite in Akron. My girlfriend loved the burger! This is a new spot in Akron, we went with a group a 5 yesterday. They open at 4, we got there early and had no issues getting a spot once they opened. With it being a new spot it is usually busy, but that’s on you to plan for!

Great place to spend my birthday at! It is a little loud and busy. But the service and food was great!

The food; I was expecting something like chain quality but was pleasantly surprised by "The Good One" burger. I highly recommend the "72 Hour Wings" as they were the highlight of my night. The cocktail, "The Red Hook" was balanced and delicious with just the right amount of bite and flavor. Great atmosphere with a great music mix. My group had a lot of fun.

Had been wanting to try this place in Cleveland and then found out they had a new location in Akron. Some of the best wings I have had. Great flavor and very tender. The burger and the pretzel were also top notch. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

9.5/10! Food came out very fresh. I got the chicken sandwich and it was well seasoned. The bun tasted like it was homemade and the sauce use for the chicken sandwich was delicious. Cocktails were top notch. All around we’ll be back for sure!

Tried Good Company for the first time this past week. As a firefighter who worked at the current Station 3 (across the street), I’ve seen several businesses come and go at this location. This place has a great vibe and is in historic (old) fire station #3. I got a burger and wings, and the wife ordered a sub sandwich. The menu was small, but everything we ordered was great! Wings were a bit expensive (6 wings for $13) but they were probably the best wings I’ve ever had. Drinks were good and the service was fantastic! We’ll be back again soon!!

Flavorful food and wonderful atmosphere. We had the celery root app in ranch dry rub. Tasty! My husband had the pecorino wings: good size wings, tender and so flavorful. (Yes, of course, I sampled.) I had the route 1 chicken sandwich. The buttermilk batter was nice and crunchy and chicken was tender. The bun was delicious and it was dressed with pickles and lettuce. We were there on a Monday evening and they had a nice crowd. I would envision it being quite hopping on the weekends and when the patio is open; AND worth the wait that might cause. Glad to have this artisan restaurant in Akron. We appreciate what you do!

Best vegan burger in town! The only other local options to compare might be the merchant and the soulful vegan but here we have a no-contest winner. The merchant has a frozen beyond patty, and the soulful vegan has a cheaper Big Mac equivalent, but Good Co’s vegan burger is homemade from scratch and spiced perfectly. It’s a clear level up. Apparently even the bun was homemade. Vegan Mayo too so it wasn’t dry. Fantastic 10 out of ten. We also got the Bonzo Balls which were so moist and delicious that they didn’t even need a sauce. Cocktails were great too. I’m a regular now!

Visited with a life long friend of mine and sat at the bar on Sunday night. Started with cocktails which were excellent! The two bartender ladies were amazing. The food was not only great but I ended up ordering 2 chicken sandwiches because they were so good!! However the deserts we ordered were lacking a tad bit. Perhaps the good ones were sold out (ice cream sandwich, etc) but the Horchata ice cream had a powdery taste and lacked flavor and somewhere like Akron with tons of Mexican restaurants that serve Horchata as a beverage you have to get the creaminess and flavor right!! Other than that everything was amazing and we will return to try more items!

Good Company does such a great job of being kid friendly while also catering to the adults. My toddler loves their food and it’s such a relief to have an actual changing table for the baby. Best thing is steak supper!

Great time as the food is excellent and the service is outstanding! Great vibes flowing throughout the restaurant. Sophia is an amazing server and did a fantastic job! Definitely will be back!

Very excited to see this place open in Akron. The menu is thoughtful and creative without being fussy. And the execution was flawless. As great as the wings and burgers are, don't sleep on the veggies. The beatifully designed space doesn't hurt either.

Yummy vegan options. They are more plant based, for example the burger is a black bean one. However it was the only good black bean burger I’ve ever had. I’m actually surprised at how good it is because I usually favor beyond.

All the staff are extremely friendly, the food is delicious (I've tried their steak dinner, the good one, and strawberry milkshake - tastes like one of those strawberry shortcake popsicles ). The drinks are really good too, I really like the red hook.

YUMMM! Ordered the vegan bonzo balls and vegan burger, both items were super flavorful and delicious. Thank you Good Company! Cannot wait to go back.

Literally the best wings on earth. Everything is made from scratch including the bread and ice cream. The space is beautiful and cocktails are delicious!

I only give five stars when I genuinely love a place and The Spotted Owl deserves 5 stars. From the vintage decor that instantly takes you to a different time a place to the hand crafted cocktails, this venue focuses on the details. Great place for a night with friends or a great date night. When you’re inside this place, you feel like you’re somewhere else in the world.
