Peony Bistro - Asian cuisine and bar

First visit but certainly not the last. Welcoming staff, quick service and lengthy menu. Hot and sour soup one of the best I’ve ever had, chock full of veggies and tofu, and robust beef flavors. Couldn’t resist egg rolls and they were perfectly fried and loaded with veggies. Main dish, sesame chicken, delicious, fresh tasting and generous serving.
No plastic glasses here as seems par for the course at a lot of restaurants- it’s the little things that’ll make or break.

A great alternative to their BIG Tx Chain neighbor; the cozy Peony Bistro gave us exceptional service with brutally honest recommendations, differentiating popular and personal favorites. They present an authentic alternative to a house salad, a definite acquired taste - i recommend ASKING about their house salad before ordering. The combination of food (Rich & Famous and Rainbow Roll) and the pleasant service made the stop and trip enjoyable.

Some time has passed since my delightful meal at Peony Bistro, but the memory of their culinary excellence compels me to share my experience. The chicken with broccoli drenched in a rich brown sauce stands out as a highlight, complemented by fried rice that sets the standard for how it should be done. The service has always been notably friendly, matching the quality of their food. They also provide a very handy carry-out service, which speaks volumes of their dedication to customer convenience. Although it's been a short while since I sat at one of their tables, the impression they left has lasted, prompting me to finally write this review. For anyone who hasn't yet had the pleasure, Peony Bistro is a cornerstone for great food and warm service. Highly recommended!

I'm excessively picky about Chinese food but what I will say this place goes above and beyond their sushi is absolutely amazing and I love the honeycrisp chicken as long as they don't make it spicy you do have to specify I truly recommend anybody try this place

We've been regulars at Peony for at least 3 years now. Several neighbors and friends recommended the restaurant when we moved here and despite driving by a few times, it took us over a year to finally stop for a meal. (Admittedly, the place doesn't look like much from the outside, it's in a strip mall right off of the 16.) HOWEVER, the food blew us away. At this point, we've probably ordered a good portion of the menu, but we definitely have favorites. The Christmas roll (fantastic sushi every time we're there btw) is my go to and I love the cabbage salad that is brought to the table first. The beef bulgogi is another family favorite. We like to go for a light sushi lunch most of the time, but we've been there for dinners plenty of times too. Friday and Saturday nights can randomly be very busy, but most of the time, you're seated immediately. Heads up that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays - we've forgotten plenty of times and been disappointed when we arrived.

The food here is amazing! Best sushi place ! If you are a sushi lover , you must try it ! Best service in town as well.

Came back again tonight and shared a bunch of sushi with friends. The food and service is top notch and I always feel incredibly welcome here. One of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Friendly greetings walking in... Very fast and friendly service... To the best part, the food is right on point, tried a variety of items and everything was just as good as a big cities seafood... Little hole in the wall gem this place is for sure...yes, I highly recommend a visit

I could not recommend this place enough, I'm fact I tell anyone who will listen that this place is THE BEST sushi in Ohio! I've been to so many sushi restaurants and nothing compares to the quality of food and service. The staff and owners are always friendly and helpful. 10/10 wish I could give more stars.

My third meal here this week at this delightful little Asian Bistro close to where I'm staying at the Courtyard. All good experiences. They have few vegetarian options on the menu, but very accommodating, they will substitute tofu for the meat and fish. Service and atmosphere are top rate.

I can't believe I missed this place for far too long. I've had several of their dishes and loved each one. The portions are generous and my leftovers gave me two more meals.The sushi rivals Aki Hana, and the red thai curry was the best I've ever had. Quality doesn't come cheap, but it was really cheap considering I used it for three meals.
