Alpine Family Medicine

Though my family has been taken care of by Dr. Egan for years, I was reminded again last week, during an appointment with my two teenage sons, how fortunate we are to have found such an exceptional doctor. Teenage boys are not known for being easy to engage with!!!, but somehow Dr. Egan is able to draw my boys out which ultimately allows for my boys to open up about what’s going on with them and receive the individual care they need. Dr. Egan takes the time that is needed to listen and address our concerns without acting rushed; a rare attribute in the medical field! Thanks Dr. Egan! We are lucky to have you!

I love the care accuracy and warmth provided by this facility. From the receptionists ( Amanda), those working in the lab, the x-ray department, (Dr. Bartholme, Karissa PA ) as well as the RN. They are efficient, timely, prepped before you actually have your visit and quick to make referrals when necessary. Gina is excellent at making sure the referrals are sent. The communication in every aspect is above excellent. They also provide Behavioral Health Services at this facility where (Donna) is warm, kind and excellent at making sure appointments are set up and Dr. Kugel Fritz is an outstanding Psychologist. I more than highly recommend this facility in all aspects. I have been going here approx. 2 years and this is the best place I have received care.

very good people everyone is so nice. love it their. i do know about mal practice and bad service. i had kaiser and family health centers and they really suck. everyone here is very good. i really appreciate them.

I can't speak to the experiences of the other two reviews I read of this place before I had gone, but I had a good experience. Yes there is paperwork to fill out just like any other medical office you may visit, I waited no lnger than 5 minutes and I was in the back on my way to feeling better. I do recommend this office and its staff.

Dr Cota is an awful DR. I've never been to a doctor who doesn't pay attention or care what their patient is saying. Not only does he ignore his patients concerns and requests, he doesn't even remember if he's met you before. Can't count the number of times he's said "have we met?" the receptionists are extremely rude when trying to schedule or reschedule an appt. There is one male receptionists that is terribly rude, I'm surprised he hasn't been fired. Go here if you want poor doctor care, lack or respect, and want to wait an hr and half for your appt you had scheduled a month in advance.

This place used to be amazing a few years ago, now you can't even get them to answer the phone or respond to voicemails. When they finally answer they can't help you and have to transfer to another number which goes to voicemail. Then you try calling back and no one answers this place is a joke now. Will be finding new doctor's for my boys!

Very poor phone skills, i am unable to handle my health care to begin with but I'm trying, and this clinic has great docs so far along with medi cal personnel but the phone service alone makes me stress to the point I cant even think to remember what I was calling for

Alpine health DOES NOT care!!! Endless hassles with this place! The facility is dirty, have seen dried blood splatters on the exam table, they repeatedly failed to authorize prescriptions, follow up on referrals, or inform me of test results. On my last visit, I had to wait almost 2 hours past my appointment time. Just before the doctor finally entered the room, I heard him talking to the lab guy in the hall, letting him go home a bit early. The doctor then came in to the room and told me that they couldn't perform the blood test I had come in for, because the lab guy had gone home. He said I had to come back another day. I had taken time off work, to make the hour long drive from my home, for this appointment. Absolutely absurd!! They are not polite, not professional, and they have proved time and again that they care nothing for their patients!!! Avoid this horrible place filled with horrible people!

This isn't health care!!!! It's just a shadow of what health care should be. I've been a patient here for a couple of years and every visit gets progressively worse.
Reception barely acknowledge your pressence. Then when they do it's short and rude without ever looking directly at you. They set an appointment with me for labs, NPO. Then refuse to honor the appointment the day of because I hadn't been seen by the doctor in six months...so I have to drive an hour away just to get a blood draw. .it just absurd. We aren't seen as people!!! We are just government fund generators!!!

I have been coming here for years and it wasn't great before but it is horrible now. I arrived 20 mins early for my appointment and waited for 15 mins to get checked in because there was only one girl working the desk. And I was the only one waiting while she tried to set up am appointment for another patient. The regular doctor I used to see isn't there anymore so my appointment was with Dr. Kellawon. I finally get into the room to wait for the doctor and sat there for almost an hour before I got fed up and left. I don't recommend this doctors office.

DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!! Hello, The people that work here are RUDE! I called in and made a Doctor Appointment. I told them what medical insurance i have. They told me that they take it and, made me an appointment. I showed up for my appointment 45 min early just like they asked me to. I filled out all of their paper work they gave me about 6 pages. I turned all of the paperwork back in to them, I then took a seat waiting to be called. they called me up to tell me that they have 2 new people and they messed up they do not take my insurance. They then told me that i could pay cash for the appointment and, it would be $150.00.

Doctors and staff are horrible! They dont care about their patients.

My wife and I came in here to establish care. They billed both of our visits under weight loss. My insurance doesn't cover that. They charged us over 800 dollars and wouldn't change the diagnosis. Beware of this place.

My husband Mike was seen by Dr. Bartholme, Karissa PA on the 29th of January with a bad cough. She never listened to his chest. Then gave him Bactrim and Tessalon and told him to come back in two weeks. He did on the 11th of February and at that time again She never listened to his chest. She told him he would be in pain for several months. My Niece is a nurse and told me to return to that Doctor and demand to be checked out right. He is even sicker now than he was before than before. If a person has a cough that last for 7 weeks, I think an X Ray should be first. He cant inhale enough air to cough now, and he is in extreme pain. This doctor should be removed from practice before she kills someone!

This place is a horrible disgrace. Completely lacking in every way. Took 3 days to reach them by phone. Lied to me that they were the only ones we could see for this issue. Avoid this place like the plague they are. Sharp Reese Stealy rocks, and would be worth driving to.

This place is horrid. They should be put out of business. We are considering a malpractice suit against them and the doctors. Run, run as fast as you can to another office under a different medical insurance.
