2/18/2024 I love this Supermarket! I go here for necessities especially the last minute ones. Their prices are reasonable & affordable, especially their 16 oz. Creamy Cole Slaw in the Deli dept., & their half quart Ice Creams. I hope they'll bring back the Bucket size cause that's more convenient for large families & they last longer too. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK FOOD-4-LESS!! Thank You for your Excellent Service & Customers' satisfaction.

I was there yesterday with 3 gift cards that wouldn't work. Trent, the manager, went above and beyond to get the problem fixed for me. He was on the phone for over 30 minutes, and he still had a great attitude and made it all about customer satisfaction. He figured out the problem and got me on my way.
Thank you, Trent, for caring about the customer. It's hard to find great employees like him anymore.

I had a great experience last Monday when I was shopping. I experience some issues loading the coupons from my app but the cashier was very helpful and delightful.

The first time shopping here and the store was huge. Had alot of different varieties of things.

Conveniently located in El Cajon, great deals on groceries, staff is friendly and helpful. Questions about Medicare? Get help on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11am-2pm :-).

This supermarket is huge and has a giant variety of items. The best part is that it is open late and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly

Having the app and doing a prep/list and loading digital coupons before heading to the store makes In Store shopping much easier. I have mostly been avoiding Food 4 Less since they remodeled because I had previously known where everything was, which helped me complete my shopping more quickly and efficiently.
Now the app has functionality that allows one to read off one's shopping list and it's laid out aisle by aisle so it guides you to the correct area in the store to look for the product you wish to purchase - very helpful.
Kudos that during the final hours of the sale week, every product on my list but one was available, in stock, and fresh. Also kudos that there were enough employees scheduled to allow for a quick and efficient check out once my list was completed.

I go to this location just because the cashier, Ricky. That dude is solid. He's always so courteous to everyone thru his line. He's just down to earth, good people. I'll keep coming to this location just because of that.

It was great like always.
Food for Less is my number one spot always.

My Mom and I went grocery shopping. We asked for someone if they could call a cab for us. When the Cab driver said he had another customer. So the young man who worked for Food4Less. He ordered a Lift Ride for us. We asked to pay him he declined any payment or cash. Later on he came to help us load the cart. Then he told the driver to take us to are house.

Best place to get your groceries

Always a great place to shop. Store is clean, employees are friendly and they have great prices on food items!

This week I encountered some obstacles while making my weekly grocery grab. Thankfully NAOMI was there to help iron things out. If you should ever need to seek customer service at food4less…you’d be lucky to be helped by her. She also recommended for me to download the app to make shopping easier. What was that AppleID???? Literally the best Food4less(of all time!!!) The staff is the most friendly bunch Ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing in my life. I cannot praise this location enough for their customer service. There is almost always someone in a department to help you find whatever you might need. And when the lines get long, they NOTICE and open up more check out lanes! The employees seem so happy to be doing their jobs and to help you(like I realize not every might be having the best day but youd have me fooled!) I already love this store for their low prices but the customer service is a huge plus, one I didnt realize I was missing from other stores. 10/10, come to this location and be wowed. I am, every single time I shop here

I always get the best deals, all of the staff are pleasant and helpful, no matter how late it is. I generally don't like crowds, so I'm doing my shopping late and I have always been greeted with a smile.

I just purchased Halloween pumpkins for half the price of Albertsons. Apples were half, too. I don't go there often, but I think I will now. I was impressed. I've been to a lot of dirty grimy stores and I did not feel that way about this one.

I've been shopping here for almost two years and I'm completely happy with almost everything about this store and Food 4 Less chain in general. They have a huge selection of good quality brand products at incredibly low prices. I usually cook my food so, over the years, I've shopped at all supermarket chains in the San Diego area. In my opinion, Food 4 Less beats all other chains including Walmart, Costco, Sprouts and others. Food 4 Less has better prices of the exact same brands you see at other stores and Food 4 Less's own brand (called Kroger) is even cheaper and tastes even better. They have plenty of healthy and organic options to choose from as well. And friendly personnel. What's not to like? Packing my own groceries? That's not a big deal, I like to organize everything myself anyway and, more importantly, shopping at Food 4 Less has saved me thousands of dollars.

It's a decent food 4 less (with the staff being superb at what they do). Doesn't carry of much variety as their Hazard Center counterpart. But for anyone who lives locally in El Cajon, it's in a safe location, open til 1am, and usually has things stocked.
