Jethro's Cafe and Tavern

Being from the East-Coast South, this place is HOME!!! The food is FANTASTIC!!! The portions are huge and the smiles are endless. The pancakes are 12 inches in diameter and perfect. The atmosphere is priceless. There are funny signs everywhere that will tickle your funny bone. Their specials are quite pleasing too. This is our 4th visit. We've had breakfast and lunch.

The portions are huge. I don't usually leave a restaurant without finishing my meal, but i left Jethro's with a to go box. The staff is friendly and efficient. The decor is almost stereotypically patriotic. Its awesome.

Always awesome. Best breakfasts in town, but on this occasion we went for dinner. One of us had Lasagna and the other The Ruben sandwich. Both were really good. Rubens are usually really fatty but this was lean. One of the best Rubens I've had. Waitstaff lady was super friendly and recommended the Lasagna, said it was made from scratch. Did not disappoint. On top of it all they had some great live music. We will be back soon.

Great place with some history. Fun art and kitche on the walls. Big TVs for the game. Service was excellent and the food was good. My home fries were a little under done, but nice flavor, with some bell pepper and onion. Definitely hand made, but frozen. The chicken fried steak was fantastic. Wife had the turkey Reuben and said it was excellent. If I was to make a suggestion to management on anything it would be to add some spice to the breakfast menu for us guys that like to start our day with a little kick. After all, we are in pepper country! We had a grand time. It was our first time in. We are definitely going back! Can't wait to try out their burgers. They sound awesome!

Monica makes the meanest manhattan and she’s also pretty lovely. Buck James is awesome to listen to. Great evening!!

Great breakfast spot. Large portions and bottomless cups of coffee..

This is a classic Real American family Cafe. You are welcomed in as soon as you open the door. Toni are server was very nice and made sure everything was all perfect. The breakfast was outstanding. As we sat back and looked at all the amazing hand painted murals you couldn't but help see how they cared about the customers. If you were a regular, you get greeted by your first name. Very rare today. This restaurant will Disappoint.

Food and service here is amazing, the wait staff are fast on their feet and kind, and the cooks in the back are miracle workers, I come here as a usual and almost never even have to order at this point. I went through a lot of the bad reviews where people would claim to be veterans and that the flags decorating the walls are "Defaced" but almost every single flag in there has been used in some capacity to represent America at one point or another. Not Defaced; just out of date/historical. Parking gets crammed on Sundays and Mondays because they close early as a heads up, but well worth the wait in most cases.

Excellent food and service! Our party had a late breakfast Sunday around noon and two of us ordered the trashcan omelettes one with home fries and one with hashbrowns. I also had the French toast and my son-in-law got biscuits and gravy and pancakes. The food was excellent and plentiful and those pancakes are dinner, platter, size and fluffy. Our waitress was a gym and kept or Waters and Coffee’s full and was quick to get the check back to us. We will definitely be returning.

1st time here. Definitely going back soon. Kristen and all the goodies she expertly delivered to our table rate an A+++

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere is patriotic and fun. Service was friendly and accommodating. They were packed full when I went so I got my order to go so I can't attest to the dine-in experience.
Their hours of operation are a bit confusing tho. It seems that they have different hours for the bar and restaurant sides of the business. Please see my pictures of the front door for further information on the hours. But the bar still has a limited food menu even after the restaurant side is closed for the day.

Excellent!!! I had chicken fried steak with garlic veggies and potatoes. The wife had a fried pork tenderloin sandwich. I also had a Long Island ice tea. Everything was wonderful. The bartender/ waitress, Kristen, was pleasant and efficient. Highly recommend.

This is an exceptional mom paw type diner. You've got to try their chicken fried steak. The gravy is just wonderful.

Food was amazing! Definitely worth the wait. Kuddos to the kitchen staff and the servers who work very hard.

Just an all around great breakfast place when you want to see how dining out used to be when restaurants cared about their customers. Oh... and they have an old school claw prize machine where the claw actually holds on to the stuffed animal you grabbed! 😉

Going to review based on breakfast and first impression. First, this place oozes patriotism with a walk through history of the flag of the United States and some added patriotic variants hanging from the walls...add a star. Next decorative airbrushed art on the walls that pull the corners of your mouth up into a healthy smile...add a star. Then, you notice the signs on the walls that are witty and sarcastic forcing an out loud laugh...add a star. The menu is fairly small, 2 pages, breakfast and lunch, done...add a star.
That brings us to the food, prices for a meal run around $11 add drink for around $3 more. Fair enough... then the food gets delivered... lots of food. Enough to share...or not. LOL Was hot and tasty great finish including service with a smile...add a star.

Just to be clear... this is no fufu place. Just cozy location serving good food that will make any hard working American proud.

Great spot! The portions are HUGE. I ate the spinach, mushroom, and feta omelette and it didn't disappoint. It comes with hashbrowns and toast. The sticky bun was HUGE and delicious!!!!!! Get them to warm it up.
