Did my share to cull the herd and hit a deer a few weeks ago. It would have been awful except that it meant I got to know Melanie at AmFam in Hartland. She has been exceptional in every way; sympathetic, professional, reliable, and efficient. We have no experience with a claim like this, and she helped us through every step of the process so we understood what was happening with my old car (totaled) and my new car. She explained my rights when it came time to total the car so we could make an informed decision. After 49 years with this company I am looking for a different agent or company. Called for a broken window on my motorhome and he laughed at me and said they won't fix something like that. I don't think I could be In the same room with this person. Never have I been treated so horrible by anyone in business this is the worst person I have tryed to work with was aragant. smug, talked down to me. American family asked for my rating I hope their happy would rate him a minus if I could.
