The staff has always been very patient with me. The doctor pays attention to the information I give and always tries to take the most conservative treatment available, which I really appreciate. I I'm in safe hands.

Staff are very kind and compassionate. They helped keep my dad comfortable during his treatment and accommodated our needs and requests. After my dad passed they hugged and cried with us. They genuinely cared about my dad. Special thanks to Dr. Bajaj, Jonlyn, Starr & Leo.

Staff is always welcoming right at the door. Anytime I've accompanied someone undergoing treatment, staff has always been so thoughtful, patient, and understanding to what patients are going through. Any form of treatment is stressful enough as is. Their walls are filled with inspirational sayings and posters filled with heart touching words of gratitude and appreciation other's have and are leaving behind after they're blessed with their very last treatment of whatever each individual had to encounter. I would recommend this place to anyone undergoing cancer treatment.

Having a hard time deciding the # of stars. Here's why. Dr T is really good. She listens to the PT and the family. Will even take suggestions from the PT and the family. The infusion department is also wonderful. Those people are saints.

BUT communication within the office, interoffice, inter-medical centers, and phone calls really really stink. We have called numerous times and have had to almost get nasty to get a call back. Then there is scheduling. Why do we have to break arms to get scheduled? Speaking of schedules, if they are going to change their minds on when to schedule a specific procedure, how about telling the PT! Ah Dah!

Honestly if we (the PT and family) were not vested, and it was not a life threating matter, we would look for another cancer center. We have been at another cancer center before moving here, and we did NOT have this lack of communication problem.

Note to the office staff. IF you are overworked, tell your boss. Do not be afraid to speak up. PT care is what counts.

Note to Dr. T. You were told about this and then you also dropped the ball.

Yes, we are demanding. We want nothing but good consistent care. This is a life threating disease, and we expect nothing but accurate and timely care and communications.

This was entered by the PT family.

So sorry I had to resort to this review. Hope this helps improve the quality of care

UPDATE: It's months since I ORIGINALLY wrote this review. I will append to it here. I believe I see a big improvement. So the number of stars will now be adjusted.

Note to the staff. Keep trying for quality, we do appreciate it.

I have been extremely pleased with my care at AZ Oncology-Wilmot. I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer almost 5 years ago. With Dr Buscema's knowledge, skill, compassion and staff, I am now feeling great and will continue to be closely closely monitored. I am optimistic for the future. Thank you all

Dr. Montoya is the reason I finally got the diagnosis I had been struggling with for most of my life. He really truly cares. I've seen multiple doctors and specialists throughout my life. Not all of them did I feel safe with or heard. With him I have. Though having an illness is not something I'd wish on anyone, getting answers finally and meeting him was a blessing.

There’s not enough Stars to give Dr. Abdelaziz and entire staff at Az Oncology Wilmot! As a Mom being told my daughter had Cancer, Hodgkins Lymphoma I was devastated, Angry, scared, all around torn apart. We received a call from Dr. Abdelaziz, we went in that same day, from the start Dr was very Thorough, kind, honest, very Knowledgeable in his profession, straight forward and moves fast. Dr and his Staff took the time to answer all questions my daughter had and explained the process to us. My daughter’s first day of Chemo was a very hard and emotional day, the Nurses in Chemotherapy department are ALL so very special, kind and Nurturing. Leo was her first Nurse and so grateful he kindly helped her through it. Kristen from scheduling always puts a smile on our face on the way out, we just love her! Than came the best news we could ever hear, Dr telling us my baby is in REMISSION!! We are so blessed and grateful for everyone at Az Oncology! Thank you so kindly Dr. Abdelaziz for being the Best at what you do and giving my babygirl the best care. And to the entire staff Jennifer, Kristen, Stephanie, Leo, Julia just to name a few, cause it truly takes a village! We could not have gone though this without you all, and for that we will be forever grateful and always have a special place in our Heart! I highly Recommend Dr. Abdelaziz and Az Oncology Wilmot!

Excellent experience thus far. Met with a new oncologist at this office and she spent a ton of time with me, gave me a cell phone to call for medical issues. Good experience with scheduling and staff. The office is fairly high volume. I meet with a different oncologist there this week--hopefully will be just as good!
