When staying in Tucson, we picked this post office because it was one of the few with great reviews. Unfortunately their hours are very limited - only 11-1 on Monday-Friday. We left a scannable package in the outside box and it did not get scanned when the box was emptied. However, when we went back today to make sure it had actually gotten picked up from the box, the staff person was very friendly and helpful. (Apparently she is the normal staff person but was not working the day our package was not scanned.)

Super friendly and helpful staff. VERY limited hours (11-1 weekdays), but usually not very busy.

Don't go to this one before 11 o'clock they've put signs on the window didn't bother to update the website that they don't open until 11 a.m.

I bought a certified Priority mail $14 to deliver for Tucson April 9, 2024. The letter is in New Mexico now. Not delivered at all.

Having a post office that's rarely open really seems ridiculous. I sought out this facility after checking Google Maps to see if I could drop a prepaid parcel near the VA center at 6th and Ajo. How could I know to check the ridiculously short hours before driving there?! I had to drive to another location miles away to send it.

Wow, I should have listened to the prior reviews. This was the only PO in Tucson that listed General Delivery on their website. I should know better to confirm first, because it's not true. We arrived to pick up a small package, and were informed that they do NOT accepted GD. They may have forwarded our package to a nearby PO that does do GD, but there's really no way of knowing. It wasn't there when we checked, and it's been 4 days. Also, they are only open from 11am-1pm M-F, and the PO and parking lot are tiny. All-in-all, a bad idea to use them for anything.

We own a small business and travel all year, this post office is one of the worst we have shipped from. Super unfriendly staff, that was very put off by us bringing our packages there, claiming they have to drive them personally to the main post office, which is sketchy as it is. Then they were impatient with the scanner and hand typed a bunch of tracking numbers in, and based on their lack of focus I assume many typos. Avoid this post office if you are sending multiple packages.

Sketchy looking post office in a sketchy looking neighborhood. Opens only 2 hours and the lady inside doesnt make you feel welcome. She made a big deal of me using the tape to pack a package that i was sending though them! I'd stay away and go to a different post office.

Useless, they don't even carry international stamps

Been at our address for almost a year and the mail person still does NOT put ours, or our neighbors mail in the correct box!! We have to sift through our neighbors mailbox to get our mail and vise versa! I also parked 6 feet away from the mailbox and the mail man just passed right by our boxes and didn’t deliver our mail!!! I can’t stand how rude and unprofessional these people are!!!!

If your going to lock the door 20 minutes early everyday. Just close the place permanently!
