Valley of the Eagles Golf

The photos say it all ….two golf enthusiast married on the 6th hole surrounded by friends & family. The bride & grooms flowers were picked fresh from the course that morning.
Everyone had fun dancing to the Spirit song by the Lack Family, our rings were made by local friend/artist JennyLyn Smith. many more anniversaries to follow. All to be celebrated every year right here in Haines,Alaska.

Great little links course! It's set in the middle of beauty with mountains all around. They have everything you need ready to borrow if you're traveling. The greens are turf, which is a tad different, but I'll gladly take those to play a course surrounded by nature like that! The pro shop was nice and welcoming too. I snagged up a polo to represent the course when I'm out and look forward to being able to tell people about it!

One of the best golf experiences you will ever have. Kathy is the most thoughtful, awesome hostess and her and Stan really know how to treat customers. They have incredible prices, even better views and will hook you up with a golf lesson for way cheaper than you would find in the states. Do you self a favor and have an awesome time for a round, or 5!!!!!

We were fortunate to have a great weather day. The fairways were dry and in pretty good shape with no mud. The views are incredible like no other. Obviously the greens are not great because they are not real but that was the only disapointment. We knew about that ahead of time. The couple that own this course are Great people and do an excellent job taking care of this place themselves. He is almost 86 years old and still does the work. I was very impressed and from some of the reviews we almost did not go. So glad we did! Incredible place to golf in Alaska. Unique experience worth the effort. Dont miss this one. You can golf anywhere with Great greens. This place is special. Put up with a few imperfections and enjoy the course and the Beautiful views! Claude and Susan Wells, Riverton, UT.

My Sister called me after playing this golf course today and wanted me to leave a review because she couldn’t. I have taken her to play several top 100 golf courses in the US and she said this one was a great design, fun layout, and tied for the best views of any course in the world.

Me and my friends traveled all the way from Florida and got the chance to play this course. Amazing scenic views and surrounded by Mountains! The owners were some of the nicest people we have met! I would highly recommend

I agree with the other review. Trading off real greens for some amazing, beautiful vistas is we worth it.

One of my favorite golf memories! Well worth the trip for any golfer.
