Eupepsia is always an amazing place to visit. This was my 4th trip and I'm already planning 2 trips for next year. The staff is absolutely incredible and make you feel at home. The massages and services are always great and the food is absolutely amazing! The vegetarian Thanksgiving feast was epic!

If there were 1,000 stars, I would give them all of them! This was hands down the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. I stayed for 4 nights and did the bestowed package. Every service was incredible. Every employee was incredible. It felt like I stepped into some blissful alternate reality. The daily workout session was killer and easily adaptable. The food…the food was OUTSTANDING. As a foodie and not a vegetarian, I was a little worried about it but I can’t rave enough about the food. The staff are all accommodating and genuinely caring. I will 100% be back at least yearly but hoping for every 6 months. I would move in if I could. If you are on the fence about doing this, take this review as your sign to just do it. You will not regret it.

After several surgeries and two years of Covid confinement, I really needed a break. Something to de-stress and reconnect with the world. I found Eupepsia serendipitously when doing a search on "best resorts in VA". I didn't want "wine by the pool", I wanted physical, mental and spiritual restoration. I found it at Eupepsia.
I was a little nervous about coming alone, as others have also said. I needn't have worried. The staff there is nothing short of amazing. There is an atmosphere of "family" and each person brings their own gifts to their guests. Samar (my initial contact) not only made me feel welcome, but she checked on me every day, provided warm and personalized care, and carefully kept track of treatments and times each day of my stay. The "therapists" there are equally fantastic. Sahar did most of my treatments, and OMG. I am very particular about massages and she and sometimes her sister Dina worked magic on me. Reflexology, hot stone, deep tissue, customized massages for your own problem areas, and the Ayurvedic Marma facial and Abyanga warm oil massages are out of this world. I have never been so spoiled or so relaxed. Add to that the most complete gym I've come across, morning circuit program, daily hikes in the mountains, hot tubs, water treadmills and bikes, saunas, salt flotation, the list goes on. You will never be bored. You can do as much or as little as you like. I spent a good deal of time walking in the breathtaking scenery or just relaxing in a hammock soaking up the sun and the sounds of wind in the trees and birdsong. It was heavenly. And the FOOD. Terik delivered delicious vegetarian meals (several courses) three times a day. I didn't miss meat at all. I was not used to eating that much, but I found it revved up my metabolism, inspired me to get out and move more, and I actually lost weight eating more than I have in years. The social aspects of everyone eating together was such a part of the experience. I met so many different and interesting people. I initially booked a 7 day stay and then extended 4 days because it was just worth it being there. Also, their Covid protocols are strict enough that I could feel completely comfortable engaging with staff and guests without masks or concerns. That meant a great deal.
People come to this place for many different reasons. Some are just looking for a few days of peaceful vacay. Other are healing from a variety of life issues, from a death in the family to serious emotional challenges. Still others just want to detox from their stress filled lives. Whatever you are looking for, Eupepsia can probably meet you where you are.
I should probably mention that cigarettes and alcohol are not allowed on property, and no one leaves the property (except for hikes) during their stay to ensure Covid safety. (It's 256 acres so you certainly don't feel confined) Also, coffee is only made in your private room to help those who are detoxing.
I will definitely return to Eupepsia next year. It's not an inexpensive trip, but SO worth it.

I just spent the last 7 nights at Eupepsia Wellness Retreat and let me say my experience was nothing short of AMAZING. The staff were so accommodating, every meal was prepared with Love and was simply delicious. Make sure you take the yoga class to experience the wonder and craftsmanship of the sanctuary as well as the class itself. I can’t say enough about the available treatments. From the Massages, saunas,Facials, to the reflexology; whatever you choose you can’t go wrong. If you are looking for a wellness retreat, look no further, Eupepsia is the place to be. 💯💯💯💯💯

I entered on a Saturday afternoon, incredibly burnt out, chronically sleep deprived, and on the verge of quitting my job due to stress. It took about 4 days, but the gorgeous food, morning workouts and hikes, afternoon massages, and many, many relaxing soaks in the jacuzzi worked their magic and I started to feel human again. By the time I left on the 8th day, I felt like I was leaving family but I had a concrete, workable plan for stress management that has already made a huge difference in my life. Every member of staff was not just kind and helpful, but genuinely invested in my journey and well being - they are true healers. My stay was literally life-changing; I learned more about myself than I thought possible in such a short time and I'm already planning a return.

Eupepsia is exactly what so many of us need: a place to truly rest, relax, and restore. It has everything I was looking for in a retreat, and more. The food is the kind of healthy all the articles and studies advocate for, but which is difficult to achieve in daily life. Meals came mostly from their on-site farm/greenhouse, we’re tailored to individual dietary needs, and were fantastically tasty. The vegan chocolate cake chef made one night in honor of a guest’s birthday may be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Not the best vegan thing, the best thing of all things. The fitness equipment is cool, and the exercise pools were immaculate and fun to use. Relaxation treatments were well done. I was amazed by the salt water float in particular. It sounded like nothing, just floating in a pool, but the salt/magnesium in the water took away muscle stiffness and aches like a miracle cure. Also, I was nervous about being a woman traveling alone, off the tourist track. The staff and guests made me feel completely at home. Don’t get me wrong, if you choose to keep to yourself that’s perfectly do-able. But I like to feel connected, and loved the family dinner atmosphere that developed around meals. I had toyed for months with the idea of trying to get a friend to travel with me. Although I went alone, I felt like I went with 10 friends because the conversations around meals were interesting and encouraging. My room was super comfortable, the views were lush and green, and the costs super reasonable. The COVID protocols (guests tested beforehand) made it comfortable to interact with other guests without masks. They even packed me a bag lunch with the most amazing panini ever for my trip home, wrapped beautifully with paper, string, and a sprig of fragrant lavender from the garden. I get the sense this place is a home and labor of love for the staff. As a person who struggles to unwind, it makes me more relaxed just knowing this place exists. I’m planning my next visit, and to head back as often as possible.

I found Eupepsia via Virginia Tourism website. There were other Wellness places closer to me but after reading the description, Eupepsia was exactly what I was looking for. I contacted Joana, the manager there. She's absolutely a sweetheart and answered all my questions. I must admit, I was skeptical at first. I also looked at all the rave reviews and thought to myself, "how can everyone be giving all five stars. This can't be right." And oh boy, after a week at eupepsia, I know why! ⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐

Eupepsia was AMAZING and nothing like I have ever experienced! ❤ The place was beautiful. The staff are all genuinely nice and caring. The food was vegetarian and soooo delicious. Best vegetarian meals ever! You don't even miss meat. The team of chefs, Taric, Lynette and others, were so creative and pay attention to every detail. You can tell it was their passion. They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The guests and staff eat together. It's a very family atmosphere.

The first day I got there they baked lavender cake. We ate it by the fire with golden milk drink, which was served every night 💛💛💛 I did all kinds of treatments from massage to Ginger detox. I did most of it with Sahar. She's awesome! I also did personal training with Susan, which was great and she made it fun. I went on walks and hikes 🌲🍁🌳🍂🌿🌺 We even get to take Ginger, owners German Shepherd, on a walk. We had fun movie night and quiet time by the fireplace.

I also did Ayurveda body type assessment. First time hearing about it. It was eye opening. The owner, Shivani, did the assessment. She took time to ask questions and dug deep. Her remarks made me rethink things and again was very eye-opening. She made several recommendations, which I plan to implement.

At first I was hesitant to go by myself. I'm so glad I did 😊 and would do it again in a heartbeat. Overall the trip was just perfect. It was relaxing both physically and mentally. I felt good. It was a great break from the busy hustle of life and a time to regroup and work on myself.

On my way home, they packed me lunch for the road trip. How sweet is that! ❤❤❤ I can't wait to go back 😊❤

--- Btw, the facility was just awesome. I think this place is good for anyone. When I was there, the guests were made up of people from different age groups. There was a couple going for their honeymoon. There were people just working on themselves. There are plenty of things to do or do nothing 😁

Wow. No, really. You won't believe how awesome Eupepsia is. My wife and I came for a few days to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and I didn't know what to expect. To be honest, I was skeptical about the vegan food and healthy meals - I'm usually a junk food junkie. My concerns were alleviated with the first meal and every one after - just Delicious. Constant deliciousness, followed by more deliciousness and then dessert. Tarak the chef is AMAZING. Actually, the whole staff is AMAZING, hands down. I was massaged, sauna'd, relaxed, and pampered the whole time. I hiked, swam, ate, read, ate, slept, ate every day (not necessarily in that order, though). I felt like I was staying with family the whole time. There is so much to do it can be overwhelming, but the staff will help you through that too. On top of that, I made new friendships with some of the staff and other guests. The homestyle meals are really, really cool and it's awesome to chat and discuss your days of relaxation with everyone (staff and guests) during mealtimes. The scenery is beautiful. the spa treatments are out of this world. I cannot think of a single thing about this trip that I didn't enjoy. We even ended up calling off work and staying an extra day because we were having such a great time. Kudos to you, Eupepsia. We miss you dearly. We'll be back as soon as we're able. - Lenny

This is my home away home! I just feel at peace when I'm here. Honestly, if you're looking for a place to relax or reset then this is the place for you. The people are amazing, the food is amazing, the treatments are amazing, everything here is truly amazing. Looking forward to my next trip there in the very near future.

I came to Eupepsia for stress reduction and my goals were exceeded. Very kind and accommodating staff in regards to your spa requests, excellent chef, and beautiful surroundings offering hiking and general relaxation. I really benefited from their functional gym which provided a great full body workout. When I needed a rest day, the pool with jets offered resisted swimming and running which was entertaining. But of most importance to me, Eupepsia clinicians are very skilled, they explain techniques in an understandable way, and for applicable treatments, you can tell they have smart hands.
I am grateful I came here and will be returning.

Eupepsia provided a perfect honeymoon experience for us! We aimed for relaxation, and they made that easy. The entire staff was thoughtful and skilled. Every meal was delicious and a social experience even us introverts enjoyed. The treatments were high quality. The gym class and equipment, hikes, and yoga (which we were lucky to catch) are wonderful. All around, we will be looking forward to returning for more of the same!

During Thanksgiving break, I wanted to take the week off and create a personal retreat to reset and recharge, so I decided to try Eupepsia. What a great decision!

My room was beautiful, with an open view of the mountains. Each day I was able to blend quiet time with time in the pool, in the gym, getting a customized massage, taking a yoga class, or just sitting on the deck in the sun, reading writing or walking around the beautiful property. Not to mention three, super-delicious over the top vegetarian meals each day with food from their organic farm.

Not only have I re-energized spiritually, but I have met some of the most caring people ever…the entire Eupepsia staff. They are all full of positive energy and work together as an amazing team. Everyone that I interacted with took the time to connect with me personally and genuinely cared about how I was doing.

The leadership and the whole team at Eupepsia have created a culture of ultra-personal service, delivered with kindness. They are passionate about taking special care of their guests and making them feel like family during their time at Eupepsia. It was never awkward for me to make special requests and they were pleased to accommodate.

All in all, to say that Eupepsia is a 5-Star experience is not fair to Eupepsia. I would have to say
9 or 10 -Stars is more like it. It’s really that special.

I am already planning my next Eupepsia get away!

Eupepsia is absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived on the property, I felt like I was home. Everyone that I came in contact with were very friendly, courteous and so helpful. The facility is clean and inviting. It was truly a calming and relaxing environment that I wished could have lasted forever!
The food is FANTASTIC. Prepared fresh and demonstrated what farm to table is all about.
Every massage and treatment was done with perfection and provided the most calming, relaxing,
almost euphoric experiences!! This was EXACTLY what I needed!!!!! I will definitely return and make this my special place to reconnect with myself, when everyday life becomes chaotic.

I highly recommend going to Eupepsia for as long as you’re able. This magical land, in my opinion, is the ultimate place to get away from the rat race world we live in and focus on oneself. The spa treatments and food are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, you’ll have to see for yourself because it’s not something I feel should be described with words. I will say however, that the mesmerizing smells around every corner captivated me! I still have the hair wrap I used in the spa and often take a whiff to mentally go back. All of the beautiful staff members at Eupepsia tend to your every need with such grace as they genuinely want to take care of you. For me personally, they nurtured me back to health. Each and every person I encountered had a part in what ended up being the start of my transformation. I am eternally grateful and look forward to going back as soon as I possibly can. Thank you, Eupepsia! Until we meet again! xoxoxo

I recently returned from Eupepsia 7/10/22. It was one of the very best experiences I ever had from the staff ensuring your well being (especially Samar), the comfort of my room, any/ all spa treatments, food exceptional, stunning views of the property and Bland County. I cannot say enough about this wellness center. It was simply the best!

Eupepsia Wellness Center is unlike any “wellness center” I’ve ever been to. It is absolutely beautiful on the inside & outside, the staff is absolutely incredible! They become like family & truly care for your well being. They offer lodging with beautiful spacious rooms. They have fantastic massage therapists that take their time to understand your “hot spots” & help to alleviate any pain or discomfort you have. They have very high technology treatments that I couldn’t begin to explain but it was very interesting when they explained it all to me!! The gym has such a wide variety of amenities such as a rock wall, punching ball, full court basketball, soccer goals, as well as machines. The spa is gorgeous, the pool seems to be heated, the hot tub is very large & lovely, the salt sauna is incredible & they some other options as well. The food is vegetarian & delicious! You can smell dinner from outside of the center as you’re walking to the dining room to have your meal! You can tell that a lot of time & efforts goes into everything that the kitchen staff makes! This place is a must see! I highly recommend going!
