Shoney's

Had a great breakfast the other morning when we stopped in on our way to Pittsburgh, PA. The service was amazing and the food was hot and fresh. I had more than enough bacon with this meal and didn't even get the bar just the regular order off the menu. Coffee was really good to help get you going. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly. It has been a long time since we had been to a Shoney's location for any meal and they did great.

Wow very impressive food. Two types of chicken, fish, porkchops and more. The chicken are not small pcs like some places and everything cooked to perfectly golden brown. I saw nothing over cooked. Very impressed. What a layout off Amazing food. The place looks a little used, but it very clean. Like a lot of places the help is stretched these days, but you would never know it. No one was waiting for long, drinks are quick and then the choice off food unbelievable. Like I said the people taking care of the food bar was doing a awesome job and food cooked perfectly. If the chain restaurant is all like this one. I would say the food quality was a 5 star restaurant. I'll definitely stop here any time I can. Missy the assent Manger keeps everything running smoothly.

Actually one of our best experiences. In the past we have found Shoney’s to be either closed or so run down and dirty that you would not even think about eating there. This location is certainly the exception. Great food. Good service. Try them out.

Really good restaurant. We ate there twice in two days. The breakfast bar has plenty of tasty and hot options. The staff are great! Both days, the servers were a pleasure and got everything correct for all 10 of us.

Wait staff was wonderful. The woman stocking the buffet this morning was fantastic. Kept the buffet full and cleaned. She was very helpful to her customers.

Awesome! I can't believe most are being replaced with Fiddler's. Wytheville's restaurant has the best waitress, staff and food of any that I have ever been to. I hope they don't change it to Fiddler's! That would be a shame!!

Great food and service was outstanding! The restaurant was very clean and well kept. Will definitely be back when in town!

The self-serve bar is always well stocked with great tasting food. We always stop here when traveling. One of the best around!

Donna was our server and she is an absolute angel. She was so attentive and kind. Highly recommend stopping by for a quick bite!

This place is amazing and the manager mark brooks is one of the best men I have ever met in my life the food was good the atmosphere was amazing and the prep cook was can I say hilarious. 10 outta 10

Everything was good , but this is the 2nd time I ate the bar and they did not have corn bread !!

Went on a Tuesday and they were slammed. Our server Jerry was hustling his butt off. We had great service and good food.

Great experience they offer a great all yu eat bar for breakfast and dinner. Not sure about lunch. On friday they had seafood buffet it was delicious. Breakfast had so much to offer didnt know where to start. Excellent price and they also offered senior discounts.

Shoney's has always been one of my favorite buffet restraints. The food is always hot and fresh.

LOVE!!!!! LOVE!!!!!! LOVE!!!!! There was another Shoney's close by, in neighboring Hillsville. It shut down. It was not a traditional Shoney's, the way I remember them growing up. But THIS ONE!!!! This one in Wytheville is AMAZING!!! DELICIOUS! And EVERYTHING I REMEMBER!!! From the metal salad plates, to the menu, to the strawberry pie and hot fudge cake! WONDERFUL! DELICIOUS!!! Clean store! Friendly folks! Definitely going back again!!!!

I had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. I hope if I'm passing through again I find this particular Shoney's again.

Best Shoney's! Wife noticed fish was not on the buffet. She asked the waitress about it. Found out that they do not do it every night. The waitress went and had them fry some fresh for my wife, no extra charge. She was extremely friendly! Service was great! We will stop by every time we're traveling through.

This restaurant was under staffed but they did the best job for everyone that was in the restaurant. The ice cream machine was out but it was close to closing but yet we were offered either scoops of vanilla or chocolate one of each which shows the the employees care about the customer even after being there all day and being short staffed and still had good attitudes and all the food on the buffet was hot and fresh.

Nice place. Great all you can eat bar and the service was good.
