Motel 6 Wytheville, VA

Great value. This was probably the best Motel 6 of the many we have stayed in. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, having a mini fridge and microwave was great and the outside was incredibly well lit for a very safe environment. We will stay again if in the area.

honestly I’m surprised. Took a shot in the dark bc there were only 2 reviews on google, but came in pleasantly surprised!! The service was great, room was spacious and clean. It’s quiet, not too many neighbors, and I felt safe. Only drawback is wifi was not connecting smoothly. Would recommend staying!

The staff is very friendly and location of the motel is great will recommend everyone to visit here. Rooms are clean and beds are always clean.

The owner is so nice! Very polite and courteous! She was very helpful in recommending eateries in the area as well. It sits off the main road so it will be a location you'd have to search for. Very quiet and off the main strip so that was nice because there were no loud trucks or traffic. The room was a very nice size. We were only passing through for the night and it suited our needs and exceeded our expectations! We would definitely return and would recommend this place for any passers-through.

I was traveling from Nashville to Allentown, PA and found this to be a great halfway point. Really, I stopped due to the low price, but I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the experience. Yes, you need to bring your own shampoo, but the hotel was clean, with new furnishings, and I walked into an already warmed room. The free internet helped me catch up on email, and the modern look of the room was great. I liked the hard floors, rather than carpet, because I could see that they were clean, as was the rest of the room. No complaints at all. I'll definitely stop here again on my next trip to Nashville.

This location is the reason I love Motel 6. I've stayed in dozens, from coast to coast, over the past 30 years, because I travel with dogs. Even now, when other chains call themselves dog-friendly, Motel 6 remains the best, no-hassle choice. Never a pet fee tacked on, and no drama.

This is a great location, right next to the interstate with easy on and off. The room I had was newly remodeled, very spacious, and had a fridge and microwave. I was on the row nearest the highway so there was some road noise, but it's probably 30 feet down the hill so it wasn't bad.

The king bed was very comfortable, the TV worked fine, and the bathroom was clean and in good shape. I still prefer parking right outside the door, and I had that.

My only complaint is that the wifi didn't work, at least where I was. I called the desk and he said he'd restart the router, but when I tried again a couple of times, still no luck. Not terrible, as I had Verizon service, but I had planned to do some work on my computer and it prevented that. Motel 6 really needs to require that this be addressed at all the properties as it's the biggest problem I've run into over the past few years.

I got in late but was greeted by a friendly receptionist who managed to get me checked in quickly to a room near the front office (which was beneficial due to the fact that my van/trailer couldn't be taken further into the parking lots and still turn around). Furthermore, when checking out early the next day, the morning receptionist was equally friendly and efficient in printing out a receipt for my stay. All said, while it was a short stop, the ease of working with these individuals made it a pleasant one despite my exhausted state.

Shocked by some of these bad reviews. Internet works great, room is a lot cleaner than some 4 star hotels I've been to, no bugs, no "gaps in the door", nothing. Loved the renovation style of the room the only thing our room doesn't have is an alarm clock which is fine because we use our phones anyway. Cheapest place to stay in town and you got more than your money's worth!

I get how some people want everything perfect when they stay somewhere. I have always just appreciated a soft bed and a good price. This is our 5th time at this Motel 6 and it’s always the same experience.

The beds were clean (I always check under the sheets and everything), the toilet and shower worked, the tv worked, everything was great.

We spent 12 hours on the road with our 4 year old son, our dog and a rescue parrot and you know what? We checked in, threw on some pajamas and just passed out. 10/10 sleep.

I paid $40 at the time and it was worth every wink of sleep!! We woke up when we naturally did and checked out to get back on the road refreshed and ready.

If you don’t need super fancy or a full breakfast, this is your place! 👍🏻👍🏻

The rooms are clean they're quiet it's an older hotel but that is kept up no trash laying around the grounds dumpsters emptied no glass no drugs in the parking lot nice quiet place to spend the night.

Very nice motel. Great location. I stayed in a king-size smoking room. However there was no ashtray anywhere. There were no cups to put ice in. But overall a very nice room. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful.

Thank you for providing a super stopping spot to conduct business. The room had been redecorated in cool designs for furnishings. Fridge included. Everything worked perfectly. Nice restaurants nearby, especially the Mexican one I walked to. I always stay at Motel 6's, I need nothing more. Thank you. Regards Francis Michael Delaney

The staff was awesome. We stayed there a couple of days and they treated us way we should be treated. We've been to a few motel 6's around the country and I can't say that about all of them. The rooms were pretty good, I enjoyed the flat screens. All n all great stay.

Best value, for the money. We always get a very good room. You can travel a few miles more north and you will pay double . We have done it and the rooms are not one bit better. Don't be fooled, because it is an older looking motel. The rooms are comparable to just about anything on up the road.

I always stay at this motel on the way to and from Tennessee. I've always found the rooms to be very clean and the staff has always been very friendly. I really like the new towel holders that have been put in place since my last stay. And the hardwood floors and modern sink fixtures are very nice. My room even had a microwave and a small refrigerator in it!

The picture on the TV seemed to be even more clear than on my TV's at home and the King-sized bed is wonderful! And I love the view of the mountains from this motel!

I don't travel very often, but when I do, I always look forward to arriving at Wytheville and staying at this motel!

Always try to support Motel 6's. This Motel 6 had clean rooms. The house keepers were a lot nicer to me then the front staff. 1st & 2nd shift people need attitude adjustments.
I give you this rating because of house keeping staff.

My stay was much improved over last year. It seems that the suggestions I made were implemented. Quick check-in (even at 2:30 AM), exactly the room I requested, everything worked and the area was real quiet. Even the wi-fi was easier to access. Management had changed so there were growing pains. The new group seems to be making good progress.

Its a little hard to find, but they have plenty of parking with nice rooms, some smoking rooms and coin laundry. Laundry is 1.50 each for wash and dry. They have friendly staff and very good prices. The tub was really small so don't try for a bath if you are big.

I have stayed in your Hotel 4 times now and it has always been very clean, and quiet. The bed is comfortable and the room is pleasant.
Of course the price is what keeps me coming back! Thank you!
