Denny's

Our server was Bryan, and he provided excellent customer service. We got here late from my bfs last drop, so our son was tired and cranky. He made sure our son received a snack and drink first without any hesitation or asking. The food came out hot and fairly quickly. We did notice a change in the mashed potatoes they just seemed to be off. Overall, the restaurant was clean and quiet. Friendly staff, would recommend.

I pulled in around 11 a.m. on Memorial Day, and was glad they were open.

However, there were only two servers, and the place was full. As you might imagine, they were backed up, but doing the best they could. Some customers were in a huff over the service, but most were understanding.

I waited until they were caught up, and then was seated at the counter. Had two meals (it was a long morning), and plenty of coffee. Food was great, service was great considering they were short-handed, and I wasn't disappointed.

This Denny's was inside a Flying J Truck Stop. It took the staff some time to notice and seat us. Once seated we were quickly waited on and served. We ordered breakfast food. It was hot and tasty. The price was reasonable.

The food here is spot on and the service is amazing!!

Wytheville Denny's was welcome site after late night VA Tech football game. We had wonderful experience, food and coffee were hot and delicious. At 1:30 am single waitress working so no need to get upset over wait to be seated or order taken, she was doing best she could. Be kind :)

Excellent breakfast, and LeAnna makes you feel right at home. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. Thanks for a great experience 👍

Not to sound strange. This Dennys had enough people to actually handle a crowd of 15 to 25 people. I realize it can hold more customers
But with they way the world is and no one wants to work . They a very good crew on hand. I always stop here because they have always Been up front about staffing
The food was great to me as I was having a hot meal not cold like normal

Atmosphere
Very nice, low toned colors promote a relaxed feel without being dark. Clean and well kept.

Food
Ordered Alaskan Salmon entree. Food was cooked perfectly, well seasoned with a little table salt. Presented well on plate.

Service
All staff was courteous and kind. Our server, Tony D, was busy but attentive, had a lot of energy, but had an upbeat and engaging overall attitude. Tony was "in the zone" today, "rolling with it" and he did it well. Wish we had more to spare for a higher tip, he earned it.

Price
Reasonable for the skill and volume of the dishes. With tea, the meal came to about $14 including tax. Thank you AARP for the 15% discount.

Critiques
Salt shakers clogged due to humidity, may want to research ways to fix.
If yer gonna serve fish, have tarter sauce on hand.

Overall
Very nice experience, hoping to stop by on the way back. Definitely recommend others to stop I.

I always like to stop by Dennys when traveling the interstate. This one did not disappoint. Kind waitresses. I ordered the Super Bird with fries. All the food was good.

Out of a few menu items due to transport issues, but what they have was served with love and peace. Friendly waitstaff, short wait for service, clean facility. Great salads. 👍🏽😋

Great breakfast foods. Need to make there own hamburger patties. Frozen patties are no good

Great service. The place was full but I got my breakfast quick and done right. The coffee was hot and fresh. The waitress was very nice wonderful service ☺

Bambi the hostess/waitress was excellent. Customer service: she kept a great and welcoming attitude even though she is the only one serving. I didn't feel rushed at all.

The food was delicious. I ordered the beef pot roast and it didn't disappoint. Large portions of meat seasoned to perfection and tender. Everything looked like it was pulled from their menu book and placed right in front of you.

Kudos to the cooks as well.

My waitress was very attentive and the service was great. I left stuffed and came hungry. Food was really good.

Could say one of few dennys that’s actually worth it. Great service n food they take pride on hospitality thank u for a good experience away from home.

Nick is an awesome cook! I don’t eat Denny’s but Nick’s cooking was very delicious! I hope he’s still working there when I come back. He should open his own restaurant. He just needs to work on his customer service skills

Natalie is a more than great, very polite and respectful, hard worker with a great personality, , also has a friendly smile
