I highly recommend Dr. Phelps and crew if you’re looking for the best dentistry in the triad area. My front teeth haven’t looked this good ever that I remember. She said I would feel a little sting with the numbing stuff, honestly never felt it at all, and the numbing stuff worked great, I would post before and after pics but I don’t have the before to share, but 3 fillings in the front at the gum line and it looks amazing, very thorough staff, quick, efficient and made me feel at home. Truly blessed to have found this dentistry. Thank you Dr. Phelps and crew. Very happy customer!!

Dr. Phelps is an excellent and caring professional with a first class well run practice that Kernersville can be proud to have in our town. I can't say enough good things about the efficiency of my experiences with this practice. Every employee there treats you like you are their most important customer and makes you feel confident that you are always going to be getting the best results possible.

Originally, I was refered here through the VA system. That usually makes me nervous, but it turned out to be the best experience. Dr. Phelps and her team are AMAZING and I always feel like I am their only patient. The entire staff is welcoming and my care has been top notch.

Dr. Phelps is amazing. Every member of her staff that is have been in contact with has been a complete joy to deal with. They are friendly, helpful, easy going, and friendly. You feel less like a patient and more like an old friend. As far as procedures go: I’ve had fillings, crowns, and general cleaning and they all went very smooth. They pay close attention to your comfort level and work with you to ensure you are relaxed and comfortable. I drive 30 miles to see Dr. Laura; and would drive three times that if I had to.

I had my first visit with Dr. Phelps today and was extremely pleased with the level of service I received. Keeley was my Dental Hygienist. She was very welcoming and thorough. Dr. Phelps was great at describing possible areas to focus on and also helped to put my mind at ease from my own concerns. I have already recommended Dr. Phelps to my wife and will continue to choose her as my Dentist moving forward.

Dr. Phelps and staff are helpful, fast, and try to make your visits and quick and painless as possible. Today Savanna and Dr. Phelps were gentle and genial and I felt I was in good hands - as usual. I have always had pleasant experiences with Dr. Phelps and her great crew, even when getting a simple filling.

Dr. Phelps and staff were very professional and helpful during both appointments! This was the first time going to a dentist and not feeling any pain, during the drilling process, etc. I opted to have several teeth (8) prepared for crowns, at the same time. Dr. Phelps and her staff gave extra effort to ensure a safe and comfortable experience!! They were great! I highly recommend Dr Phelps for anyone’s dental needs!!

My daughter and I were seen today and our visit went perfect. They are a family friendly practice and are very accomodating, always anticipating your needs. The staff is extremely nice and the customer service is amazing. Dr. Phelps is very kind and fast. If you are looking for a great family dentist this is the place to go. You will not find a better practice in town. I am so glad Dr. Phelps took over the practice when Dr South retired. She is great!

Dr Laura Phelps is an awesome Dentist. Very knowledge and personable! So glad she took over this dentist office in Kernersville. I was driving to Mr Airy to see her so when she moved it was even a bigger plus! My dental hygienist Brandy was great! Teeth felt so clean! Office staff is friendly and has a small town feel! Highly recommend her for the whole family!!

I am new to the area and had used what I would call a “Dentist in a box” out of convenience. I relocated from FL to NC and was in braces awaiting orals surgery for implants and crowns. After a bit of frustration, I found Dr. Phelps and have not regretted it for a moment. The staff has been amazing, professional, and friendly. I don’t have to sit in the waiting area for an hour anymore for a scheduled appointment! She has been great with communicating with my Orthodontist in Florida as I wrap up my braces. She also made a realistic plan on getting my needed dental work finished up so it will merely be maintenance for now on. I wish I would have made the move earlier to Dr. Phelps!

Dr. Phelps and her team provide personalized and consistent care during routine cleanings as well as during more in-depth visits. I feel like I am the only patient in the office when I am there, and I believe the other patients feel the same. Thanks!

Saw Dr. Phelps yesterday. Not only is she a trusted provider , she and her staff are welcoming. I always come out with a smile on my face!! I feel very fortunate to have found a practice in this area that provides the quality of care I have received with every visit!

I am a patient here and I must tell you the rude receptionist is gone!! Her replacement has beautiful hair and a wonderful personality!!! The dentist has 20+ years experience and answered all my questions and dealt with all of my concerns with a compassionate "chair" side manner. His assistants and hygienist are knowledgeable and very courteous and even have great sense of humors. The whole staff definitely makes the "going to the dentist" phobia a more enjoyable experience.

UGH...I have a dentist appointment coming up!!! These were the exact words (and a few others) I used to say every time I had a dental appointment. This was BEFORE switching to Dr. LAURA PHELPS. I have been a patient of Dr. Phelps for almost a year now and she has changed my outlook about dentists. I no longer suffer with extreme anxiety and fear before my appointments. Kudos to her and her staff....they really are the best!

I am a very anxious dental patient and made sure to let the practice know, Doctor South and his staff were extremely patient with me, I even like to use the anesthetic without epinephrine in it which frustrates most dentist because the numbing effect does not last as long and can be less profound, but Doctor South and his staff made sure to work around that and made sure the procedure was painless and the short acting anesthetic time was kept in mind. Speaking of painless he's probably one of the best I've had in administrating the anesthetic also! All around great experience.

We grew up hearing our mom say, “Protect your teeth!”. This is the best place to do that. Teresa is the best and most organized office manager EVER. She immediately gives you a printed quote for pending work, juggles the phone and requests - all with a smile. My Hygienist is Brandy. LOVE HER! She is always so pleasant but stays efficient and does a great job getting my teeth smooth and fresh without causing any pain. I haven’t seen any of the other Hygienists and I’m sure they are fine, but I’m on record as saying, “If Brandy is out, reschedule my appt.”. Luckily, Brandy has a great work ethic and she’s always there. Dr. Laura is awesome! She is very down to earth and funny while instilling confidence. She gives a thorough double check after the cleaning. She examines your jaw function, feels under and around your tongue for problems and even checks your neck and throat for lumps. They have never tried to oversell dental procedures. They watch for issues and make recommendations but it never feels “money driven”. She’s been watching an old crown that has a lot of gaps but no cavity. She gave me the option of continuing to monitor or do a preventative replacement. The crown is NINETEEN years old so I chose replacement. I’ll be seeing her and Lauren in March and I’m not even dreading it. If you are new to the area or just need a change, this is where you want to come.

Their Covid response is excellent. They wear masks and face shields, they limit capacity in the waiting area, they had a special ventilation system installed in the procedure room, they take temperatures and they even have 2 cups of pens at reception. One is marked CLEAN and when you use one, you put it in the cup marked DIRTY. I feel extremely comfortable coming here.

The staff are always friendly, prompt, and thorough with my semi-annual cleaning and overall dental health checkup. From the time you enter the front door until you depart, they are always giving excellent customer service. It helps when you bring them gifts of peanut butter fudge.

Thank you so much Laura! You got me in your office when I was in so much pain and by the end of the day I felt 1000% better. I would definitely recommend Laura Phelps and her colleagues to anyone. I will be back. Very friendly atmosphere.

Dr. Greg South and his staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The front office worker always greets me with a smile and a cheerful demeanor and his tech staff and hygienist are also very pleasant to be around. This office is very nice and the professionalism exhibited by all is second to none.
