We’ve been using Crossroads since moving to Zion Crossroads over 10 years ago. When we had to have our 19 year old cat euthanized, the staff were extremely kind and comforting.

We take all 6 of our cats there and have always had caring, professional service. When our ginger tabby had severe antibiotic resistant pneumonia as a kitten, they took such good care of him, he jumps in the cat carrier now when it’s time to go to the vet. Sometimes we
Can’t get another cat in, because Tate is already in there ready to go. Dr. Zeni loves cats and it shows and the vet techs and admin staff have all been great - Tate especially loves Frankie.

My dog had never been there. She was very sick and I was so worried about her. I called in the morning and they let us drop her off for the day. They were able to diagnose her without running a lot of unnecessary tests. Unfortunately it was very bad news. After taking some time to think about my options, I decided on euthanasia. They were able to help us later that afternoon, once we were able to come in and be with her. Everyone was so sweet and compassionate. They have a special room for these heartbreaking goodbyes. They gave us plenty of time to love on her and say goodbye. She died very peacefully in my lap, which was a blessing, even though losing a pet is SO HORRIBLE. Thank you Dr. Hansen and Stephanie... And everyone else. 🤎🤎🤎

I called Crossroads Animal clinic in the morning with a severely ill cat. Their caring staff quickly got me in the same day. Even though they were busy, they still took the time explaining our cats health status. Even though we had to have her euthanized. But their caring staff made this unbearable situation bearable. Very caring professional people. I would definitely recommend using them.

We've been clients for years and years with high maintenance dogs, and the vets and staff are beyond compare. Today's high praise is for Tina, Skylar and Dr. Zeni; keeping a senior hot mess terrier stocked with her pharmacology collection is no easy task and they all went above and beyond to assure we don't miss a dose!

Lots of places talk about caring and taking exceptional care of their clients/customers, but Crossroads lives it. Thank you, THANK YOU!

Took my cat and doggo here while visiting my mom (this is her vet). Lovely staff. Thorough, friendly and patient. And how cute is the kitty hideout? Having been to so many vets through fostering, I always appreciate when vets have special perks for cats who can be traumatized at the vet. My kitty gave it high marks and doggo was very relaxed there too! They clearly understand cat behavior (places for caving and perching!)

They were so kind to us and our sweet cat on a very difficult day. We decided to choose Dr. Larsen as our new veterinarian as a result and made an appointment for our Golden Retriever. She, and the entire staff, were unbelievably gentle and truly treated us and our cat like family. Loved them, and the facility is new, clean and very nice. Can't say enough!

I just sent an email to Dr. Fietz regarding some questions about my pets, and my ADHD brain ended up taking me to google to look at Crossroad’s reviews. Boy, it’s clear that a lot of people have zero clue how veterinary medicine works or that people who look different than you can be professional (that one truly baffled me…betting they had no idea that Cyndi has over 30 years of veterinary experience).

First and foremost, what’s important to note here is that Crossroads Animal Hospital is an *excellent* vet—their entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and love what they do, even when it’s tough. Their genuine care for your pets is apparent (particularly Dr. Fietz, who takes care of my crew). They are very responsive (I always get a call first thing Monday morning when I’ve left a characteristic panicked voicemail over the weekend), and they know how to prioritize and schedule effectively. I’ve been to vets where I’ve waited 30 minutes to an hour (or more) for my pet to even be checked in; that is never the case here.

With regard to cost, as with most things in life, you get what you pay for, and the health and well-being of my animals is not something that I’m willing to skimp on. Look into getting a CareCredit card if you need help financially (it’s been a life-saver for me on multiple occasions), but don’t blame the vet because you took on an actual life that you were unprepared to care for. The idea that vets or vet techs are in it for the money is absurd—most of them are paying off ridiculous debt from vet school for years, and they make a hell of a lot less than you think they do. They do it out of love for animals; otherwise they’d leave, because it wouldn’t be worth the general abuse from the people who believe otherwise.

I also have to give Dr. Davis some mad respect for responding the way that she has to some of these unkind and uneducated reviews. The fact that she stands behind her practice and her employees and actively defends them is not something that you see often, and it says a lot about her character and the kind of business that she’s running. Bravo.

Anyway, long post short, if you’re in the market for a new vet, take negative google reviews with a grain of salt, and go meet them in person and find out for yourself. They’ll be happy to welcome you.

I've now had 4 visits to this practice, 2 for my dog and 1 for each cat. I've seen three different vets. They all were fabulous. Here's what I liked:

Pricing is competitive
The floor is not slippery! This is huge for my dog.
There are separate dog and cat
areas
You pay in the room, not at the counter
They have squirt cheese!!
The scale is in the lobby, not in the room.
They don't push unnecessary surgery
Extraordinary support staff

Took a "difficult" dog for routine procedure. Staff came out to the car to let me know they were ready for her. After weigh in, she went to a private room for her appt't. Staff took care of most of her tests. The Dr. Did a complete evaluation with the help of an assistant. Dr. kept us informed and gave a detailed report at the end of the exam.

I have been taking my fur babies to Crossroads Animal Hospital for years and have NEVER had a bad experience with them. Dr. Davis is always so attentive and wonderful with our fur babies. The staff follows suit, they are helpful , knowledgeable, and truly care about their clients. I get so tickled when we walk in and they remember your baby, not from a review of the chart, but from their last interaction with them! Great place, great people, and great service! I can't recommend them enough!

I've had the privilege of interacting with Colleen at Crossroads Animal Hospital, and I can't say enough about her compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with pet owners. She not only takes the time to listen but also provides support and understanding during challenging moments.

Colleen's ability to convey difficult news in a way that is both gentle and clear is truly remarkable. She ensures that pet owners fully comprehend the situation, even in the face of distressing information. Her empathy shines through in every conversation, making it evident that she genuinely cares for both the animals and their human companions.

What sets Colleen apart is her exceptional skill in communicating with the public. She has a talent for making complex medical jargon understandable and relatable, putting pet owners at ease and empowering them to make informed decisions.

If you're looking for a professional who combines compassion, empathy, and superb communication skills in the realm of animal care, Colleen is the go-to person. She's fabulous at what she does, and I'm grateful for her support during a difficult time. Thank you, Colleen, for your dedication and kindness.

Crossroads Animal Hospital is the only place I will ever bring my dogs. The staff and doctors have always shown a genuine care for the wellbeing of my pets. My dogs don’t even seem upset when I have to take them in. Definitely recommend this animal hospital to anyone in the area.

I am 74 and come from Fairfax and Loudoun County. I have had the best of the best , from regular care to emergency care. I stayed with one vet for 25 years until she went strictly cats. There were many unhappy people. I was ready to take Lucky back to Fairfax when I met Dr. Fietz and that did it. The care and respect from all the staff has been great
The doctor is the closest I can come to my other vet. . It feeling of trust, kindness and genuinely caring that made me try and I will continue to take all my pets there. Thanks to all the doctors and staff.

I moved to this area from Pennsylvania in 2015 and my Landlord recommended Crossroads. I am so glad she did, because for the last three years I have had nothing but positive experiences! The staff is always friendly and they ADORE all of their patients. The doctors are excellent listeners and work with you to keep your pet healthy without breaking the bank. They offer quick vaccination appointments which are cheaper and faster than a typical appointment. They use the pet portal app which makes communication easier and quicker. They email me every time one of my many animals is due for a checkup or vaccine. Just last week I thought my one year old pug, Jareth, had a bowel obstruction. The vet knew right away that it was actually bacteria in his stool from infection! He saved me the cost of doing an X-ray, prescribed some meds, and Jareth is now back to his normal self! These guys are amazing - Take your pets here if you want excellent care (:
