I have been coming here for three years now. They are one of the few if only dentists that take medicaid. For that alone I am eternally grateful. What Dr Dhakar does is a great humanitarian service to the community. Being able to take care of my teeth and not worry about paying a major portion of my income is a dream come true.

On top of all that, every time I have come here everyone has been gracious, patient, and kind. They get all sorts of patients and difficult cases, so I am even happier the clinic is as nice as it is. Dr Dhakar is a bit hard to understand sometimes, but I’ll take a thick accent over having to pay thousands for the same dental care.

Thanks to everyone at the clinic in Zion, you have saved me so much effort and mental anguish over my teeth.

I had an excellent experience here from the time I made an appointment to the time I left my appointment. I had to get a pretty awful tooth extracted & Dr. Dhakar was totally upfront from the beginning about any risks, etc. He had wonderful bedside manner and made me feel at ease. The office staff & assistant were also great. I’ll definitely go back in the future for all of my dental needs.

My first time using this practice. I was literally scared to death with a new dentist as I need multiple extractions. I was greeted with a very warm n welcoming atmosphere. The staff was very patient and caring for me even came outside to make sure I had the right bldg. Worked me in even tho the dates got mixed. I was a mess in every aspect they were patient with me and showed concern. The Dentist Dr “Sunny”. ( not spelled correctly). Was just terrific he is truly an expert and ensured me he would take care of me and that he did! Made this experience most bearable for me. I can’t say enough about this practice. This is a very caring team from the entrance to the nurse to end of your visit. He has done wonders for me. I recommend this practice to the upmost. I will be sending other family members and friends. I believe he may have even used his lunch break to just help me . So glad I found them. Y’all support this practice you won’t be disappointed !! I’ve always been afraid of the dentist. I never would go because my anxiety was so bad. But wisdom teeth had to get taken out so here i am! First of all they got me in as a new patient the day after i called. Second, the friendly staff are very welcoming. Always have smiles on their faces. The dentist himself is definitely my favorite that i have ever been to. He is friendly, really nice and he cares very much about the person he’s working on. On my journey to get my smile back! And I am doing so with a caring team. I am very confident and thankful for the team as well! Also the dentist is very gentle and makes sure you’re comfortable (without pain) before he starts the procedure 10/10 recommend. I love this dentist office!

Recently moved from out of state and I've spent a lot of time at dentists as a young adult. This was the BEST experience I ever had. The friendliness of the staff, the understanding and patience of the dentist, and the communication across the team were top-notch for someone nervous to go to the dentist and there for their first-time visit to a new office.

The facility was sparkling clean and the equipment looks brand new. I really appreciated the opportunity to hold the saliva ejector and use it as I needed it during the polishing. That was really empowering. DeShaun, Felicia, and the entire staff actually made me excited to book my next cleaning!

I went in this morning with a cracked wisdom tooth.
It was angled down and pressing against a nerve.
This was a very tricky extraction. I became very upset and nervous.
The dentist was amazing
He sat with me and helped me calm down. He gave me reassurance that he could pull my tooth and that I would leave happy and pain free!
It didn’t take very long but he was able to extract my entire tooth and no nerve was touched!
I arrived nervous and shaking
I left relieved and happy!

Everyone was really nice, especially the lady at the front desk she was so sweet I love her. Procedure was quick and easy first time every getting an extraction but I was comfortable

I had a rotten wisdom tooth that was just unbearable. I went in he told me that my sinus line was really close so he needed me to sign a waiver. I was like yes please because the guy who did my right side was the worst in the world. I signed and in about 5 minutes he was done and showing me the tooth. Absolutely amazing. He was well informed and cared about my needs. Thank you so much!

I have been looking for a dentist for over a year that would take my dental insurance, everyone else is super booked and long wait! Called these guys and now I’m working on going to my third appointment in two weeks I’ve already had a cleaning a dental work done in such a short period of time! Staff is wonderful. Love my dental assistant that does my X-rays! And Dr D is amazing, super friendly guy makes me super comfortable after struggling with so much anxiety about going to the dentist! 10/10 recommend these guys!

Love it here! Never been a fan of going to a dentist but I felt at ease the whole time. They were polite and made sure I understood everything and asked if I had questions. The dentist was amazing and very caring and I will definitely be going back soon!

SAW THE DENTIST FOR THE FIRST TIME & HAD TO WAIT FOR INSURANCE TO APPROVE ME TO GO BACK. WILL BE GOING BACK IN JAN. SEEMS LIKE A REALLY NICE MAN THAT WANTS TO HELP ME.

Dr. D and his team, hands down the best experience I've had with dental work in my 30 years! It's gorgeous and a super clean environment! I had basically no wait time, got a tooth pulled in record timing! Dr. D is very friendly, he has a very calming presence!
I legitimately should have asked one of his nurses to write her name down for me (I believe it's deshawn) but anyways, super sweet and very good at her job! I'm thrilled to find a dentist that I actually like going to! Thank you so much for your help and time!!

I was flossing and a 10 year old filling came out. I called affordable family dentistry and they were able to see me within 5 days. I had my appointment with Dr. Dhakar yesterday. He was so nice, understanding and warned me up front that my insurance will not cover the procedure needed. However he did give me options on how to get this work done without of having to immediately come up with 1200 bucks! I go back Tuesday for the work to be done. So happy with the staff and the treatment I received. I do believe I have found my forever dentist!

Affordable Family Dentistry is the BEST....from my initial call to make my appointment and the services I had at my appointment...the staff and Dentist ; Dr. Surya Dhakar was very professional , kind and well knowledged. I had a tooth extraction and I felt nothing !! I give them 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐stars!!! I highly recommend them for all of your dental care!!

Went to my appointment today, was really nervous about getting my tooth pulled but the staff makes you comfortable and the doctor who pulled my tooth was really understanding of what I needed done. I never liked going to the dentist, but going here definitely eased my anxiety about dentists. Amazing place!

Amazing experience! Took my daughter with a toothache and the doc and staff wers wonderful. My daughter went from hating the dentist to asking when she can go back! Amazing job! Thank you! As I was leaving I heard complaints about the wait time to see them. Please keep in mind you never know if a child is being seen before you with an emergency. Just remember the same time will hands down be spent with you in return!!! We will be back for sure! Thank you for changing the way my children look at dental care!

I had not been to the dentist in several year and in the last couple months developed a cavity deep into my tooth. They got me into the office in 3 business days and he was beyond wonderful. I was very nervous about having my tooth pulled out. He reassured me it would be okay. I had no pain when he pulled it out and has been heavily great.

Thanks God for this amazing Doctor and his staff. They make you as comfortable as possible. Had an extraction done and didn't even feel it. I recommend this place for anyone who doesn't like pain because this Doctor is number one in my book. My permanent place and was welcomed with much respect. Love it!!!

I was able to be seen quickly about a tooth that was causing me trouble and pain. It was then determined the tooth could be saved so a root canal would be done. Further analysis of the tooth it was discovered that the tooth had secured in the root. It was taken out the same day I was seen. I was also told I can return for maintenance of my teeth. Which excites me to finally be able to get them fixed!

I had a wisdom tooth that NEEDED to come out, after unbearable pain and 100 phone calls to dentists in the area I was able to get a same day appointment and the tooth removed. Dr. Dhakar was friendly but most importantly timely, he prioritized my pain and discomfort and made time to see me last minute.
