I’m sorry for not getting a good picture of the food. It was so good that I scarfed it down without getting my phone out!

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, and after a long hard day of digging holes in the hot sun, I didn’t know if this was the meal stop for me or not. I’m so glad I did.

Bar-none the best pork chop I’ve ever had!!! The cornbread was sweet and on point, the Mac-n-cheese was delicious too. This place has a vibe (not the typical kind but good). The owners were nice and friendly and so was the waiter. Plus the price was fantastic.

If you are anywhere close to this place “STOP AND EAT!” And the waiter mentioned the fried chicken was better. What!?! I will be back!

Today was a meet up with a friend. Shes from Hanover, myself from Greene. Its about the 1/2 way mark. My 3 little grandsons & my eldest daughter came too. My friend hadn't met them til today. I tried to make it happen, but had not. The boys are 4.5, 2.5 & 8 weeks old. 👩‍🦳💜👦🧒👶💜👩‍🦳
The food is always great & breakfast is served all day! Try it for yourself.

Gotta say this is the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. My order was ready in under ten minutes.
What I was really impressed with was the wonderful customer service provided by the waitress. She was a tall attractive red head. I thought she owned the restaurant because she was so efficient. She made the experience very pleasant.
I hope to return when I’m back in this area.

Have eaten here on three occasions. Wonderfully "retro" atmosphere with delicious breakfast food, coffee & service. Definitely "blue collar," which for me is the best way to go.

What a true blue greasy spoon diner at its finest. The pictures that first spot up on this place make it look all nice and bright, but they must be from awhile back. When you 1st walk in you see a bunchnof home dessert sitting in a display case, with bun cakes and big ass cinnamon buns sitting on top. There are some tables to the right and a countertop with stools. There were lots of things piled up on the countertop though. Kind of felt like we walked into someone's house. We were kindly greeted and told to sit where ever we wanted. We went left into the larger diner room. The was kind of a disheveled charm to the place. Our waitress was a good old girl and told us that she had been eating here since she was knee-high to a grasshopper. They kind of have a bit of everything, my daughter ordered a BLT sandwich my wife got a cheeseburger and both my son and I got their catfish dinner. I got mine with a side salad and mashed potatoes and my son got onion rings and fried apples. Everything was cooked to order and didn't take very long to come to the table. The catfish was really good they had kind of a corn breaded batter to it and it was fried pretty much to perfection. It kind of felt a little out of place where it was located it's probably been here for quite a long time before this area built up. There seemed to be a good number of regulars. We then got some of their desserts which were also really good. I think you can definitely find something here that you would like, service was good with a touch of Country Charm. If I was in the area I definitely would stop here again if I was looking for some good grub.

Amazing staff and food! Ordered through TOAST/Google and everything was 100% on point! Extremely easy to get to and friendly staff! Brought my food home and it was still steaming hot! I say if you are questioning it, give them a try!

Good old fashioned home cooked breakfast! Hot fluffy biscuit, bacon was perfect, eggs were perfect. Would definitely go back.

I don't live here and will most likely never see this place again. This place is(I'm still in here) awesome. Great service, nice little homie place, even the other customers were so kind and wonderful. These 2 little old ladies I would be proud to have them as my grandmothers. The food was exactly what it should be and so much more. We should model all American restaurants after what these people have here. Reasonable prices for a priceless experience.

I've been here a few times, but mainly only ordered breakfast. This particular day I decided to order lunch to go. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be ordering again soon. Pictured is porkchop dinner with green beans, mac&cheese, and a roll. May I add prices are reasonable as well.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food very tasty. Homemade lasagna is amazing. Make room for the cappuccino cake and the 7 layer choc cake! Restrooms need a little more care, though. Average pricing.

Thank you so much Crescent Inn! My mom, daughter, and I came in for dinner and they were extremely busy yet still very attentive. My 3 year old daughter unfortunately proceeded to get sick all over the floor, bench seat, and table (before eating and not food related at all, she has horrible allergies). I just wanted to thank Crescent Inn for how WONDERFUL the whole staff was!!! They were so caring to us and made my daughter feel special. My daughter felt so bad about the mess that she made and they made sure to make her know that she was perfectly fine. They helped us pack up our food that came out (we wanted to leave so we could get my daughter home), helped us clean up, and spoiled my daughter. The staff was so busy but yet to made sure to help us. A nice man who worked there spoiled my daughter and also gave her mints which I really think helped settle her stomach. He got her smiling again. ❤ This kind of care you can't usually find in a traditional restaurant. They truly treat you like family and it is so appreciated. We got a chance to finish our food at home and it was amazing as always! BTW my daughter seems to be doing a lot better, thank you!

Have to say really is homemade real food. So satisfied. Thank you so much. Restaurant was clean and nice,staff was absolutely the best and food was delicious. Travel a lot in our line of work,so was grateful to find this gem. We will be back ...

We drove 30 minutes out of our way to get their home cooked breakfast!!! Always yummy and super nice folks.

Good food to eat and you can buy Vee's Seasoning at the Crescent Inn restaurant. All purpose, all natural, just use this one seasoning on your food.

Much improved since earlier visit. Lots of TLC! Great food! Great staff! Probably the best breakfasts that my wife and I have had out in a very long time. Have been twice recently. It is now our go to breakfast place! The scrapple is delicious! Great portions. Cooked just right. The corned beef hash is cooked to perfection! Made sure you save room for the pancakes! Very friendly and welcoming! Definitely a must stop when in the Zion X Roads area. They serve breakfast all day!!!!

Richard and I would like to thank John and Lauren for taking great care of us. We go every Friday night for dinner. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend this place. Come out and support this local business. Down home cooking and they treat you like family. Again, go and enjoy.

Hometown restaurant with excellent food choices. Large portions and great flavor. Definitely a plus all around.

Needed to find a place outside of Charlottesville to meet family off of 64. Picked tge Crescent Inn blindly and was very happy with the choice. Friendly server, yummy comfort food and a homey feel to the place. Felt like we stepped back in time.
