If you are searching for a wedding dress, or any formal dress, I highly recommend Caryn’s Bridal shop! I have not only purchased my prom dress from here, but I just said “YES” to my beautiful wedding dress! The whole experience was amazing. When I went in for my appointment they had my name on a chalk board which was such a cute personalized touch! Olivia was my dress consultant and she was absolutely amazing!! I had went to 2 bridal shops before Caryn’s and she was the first one to measure me, and get my size, before pulling any dresses! She asked what my needs and wants were,pulled some dresses and ultimately pulled my“YES” dress. She made me feel so comfortable, and I felt no pressure at all! I also want to add that I am a plus size girl, and I have a big bust, and they had plenty of dresses in my size and dresses that supported my bust (which is very rare!) I HIGHLY recommend Caryn’s Bridal and Olivia! ❤

Absolutely loved my dress shopping experience at Caryn's! Latrice was absolutely the BEST to work with! She listened to my preferences and insecurities and found me the perfect dress on like 4th try! Happy tears flowed because the process was so so easy and quick - I was sad it was over! Caryn's front desk staff communicates very well and makes it very easy to coordinate with alterations right upstairs. It was worth the trip from Richmond, especially given the prices. Both the dress and veil were marked down which helped with my shoestring budget. Dress was purchased in February. The fitting was in June. Alterations were made by early August. Wedding was in mid September. Thank you Latrice and the whole Caryn's team!

Caryn’s bridal was amazing to work with my consultant. Olivia was fabulous and the store is so beautifully decorated and well-maintained. You feel right at home! I would recommend wedding dress shopping here to everyone!

All bodies are beautiful at Caryn's!! Olivia is AMAZING. I am a plus size bride wedding dress shopping. So far my experience had been mixed as a lot of stores I visited previously either had terrible service or limited size selection.

At Caryn's it is a NON ISSUE. No one batted an eye at my measurements. They had all of the dresses in my size. And, they have the kindest and most gracious staff.

My experience:
When you come in you are taken to a little suite with seating for your party. Then there are small changing rooms to the side where the dresses are brought so the family/party doesn't see the dress before the bride.

Then the stylist takes your measurements, gets the dresses, and hands them off to you from behind a curtain. They are wonderful at respecting privacy and modesty. Then once you are in the dress they will button/zip you up and clip the dress to make sure it fits as true to your shape as it can.

Every dress reveal feels special. They have small stages and large mirrors so you can see every angle. This really makes you feel like you are the star of the show. There's also great lighting.

I want to thank Olivia for the amazing service she provided. She truly is an amazing stylist with patience and grace. I would not have found my perfect dress if it wasn't for her. After trying on a few dresses, she listened to my feedback about every dress and then she pulled a dress that I would have never picked for myself. Lo' and behold.... it was the perfect dress for me.

I cannot recommend this store enough! I am so glad I got to say yes to the dress at Caryn's bridal!

All the consultants are very nice, respectful & they get back to you in a timely manner via phone or email. I had Olivia as my dress consultant & she was amazing! I cannot express how amazing my experience was at Caryn’s! I’ve known about Caryn’s for years with being a Longwood student and always wanted to try on dresses there! However, the customer service alone was what made this experience so great - at the time of me going in I had tried at least 6-7 different places and at minimum tried on 20+ dresses! At this point, I had somewhat of a vision I was expecting (two dresses) and Latrice absolutely took them to the next level. She immediately took my measurements (which many places didn’t - they’d base off my pants size) and pulled dresses she had in mind after describing our wedding and my two visions - she asked me to tell her what I like and didn’t - from there I never had to question what she put me in. They were all great choices and felt as if she truly heard me and saw my vision. Even the small things I might not have liked, she noted that going forward! I had so many dresses I loved and had to choose from and not once felt as if I was settling like I was at other places. Latrice made this extremely fun, welcoming, and I felt as if she was a part of the group and not pushing me to buy anything I wasn’t 100% happy with it. I had two different visions and she nailed them both! She did everything in her power to make me feel like a bride and absolutely beautiful! I cannot express my gratitude enough for her presence and hospitality - she’s truly got a gift…Women of all sizes should feel welcome here - I cannot express how much they truly care to make you feel beautiful, the work to give you more, and the bridal vision you have for yourself.

I had the most amazing and magical experience here at Caryn’s! I am a 2024 bride and found my perfect dress here in November 2023. Latrice helped me narrow down and find the most gorgeous dress I have ever seen! We tried SO many dresses on and her patience , honesty, support and joy really helped in this entire process. I didn’t think what I envisioned would be in my price range but it was and thanks to everyone at Caryn’s and especially Latrice I found it! I can’t wait to wear it on the big day! They made me and my family feel so welcomed and they were all so kind. You can tell they love what they do and they are SO good at their job! I look forward to returning for my alterations. I can’t recommend Caryn’s enough to anyone who needs a gorgeous dress whether it’s bridal, bridesmaid, MOB, prom, or if you’re a guy looking for a suit!

Latrice was amazing! I brought my future daughter-in-law, my SIL and my MIL with me to select a dress for my son’s wedding next spring. My friend and I stopped in here, without an appointment, to look for a mother-of -the bride dress. We were really not very well dressed ourselves, however, we were treated like royalty. Even though we had no appointment, Olivia took excellent care of us. She knew exactly the size and color and availability of every type of dress she had on the floor and she brought out numerous dresses for us to try. She was extremely helpful and we couldn’t gone to a better place!! This is a Wonderful store and has a great selection of wedding dresses as well as dresses for the mother of the bride or groom. Olivia was fantastic!

I had the best experience at Caryns this past weekend! This was my first time dress shopping so I was excited and nervous all at the same time! My consultant was Olivia, and she made me feel so comfortable. I went in thinking I knew what I wanted but ended up going with something I didn’t think I would like on me. We can thank Olivia for that because she picked out this dress for me to try on just based off of what I had said I wanted in a dress!
