Il Castello Italian Restaurant & Pizza

Our third time to Il Castello.

Comfortably nestled in a strip mall, I hope this restaurant is around for a long, long time.
Each time we've been there the food was excellent. This time around we enjoyed the Antipasto Rustica for starters, followed by Baked Ziti for my wife and Meat Lasagna for myself. The macaroni was cooked just right, both dishes were nice and cheesy and the sauce was what you hope for.

My husband and I came in for dinner and we had a pleasant time. We ordered the fried nacho ravioli and fried mushrooms for an appetizer. The mushrooms were fresh and the ravioli was crisp and delicious. Our meals were amazing. I got the shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and there was enough Alfredo sauce to where it wasn't dry.

I LOVE these guys. They make some really great food at an affordable price. My wife and I love their pizzas.

Additionally, the staff are some of the nicest and greatest. Usually, we see Elijah serving us and he's a really nics guy.

Also, one time my truck's battery died on me. Faith, one of the employees there, was more than willing to help me get it started again.

Nothing fussy, just really great food - we love the pasta dishes and always leave satisfied (and with leftovers)! Love their scratch-made salad dressings as well.

I just moved to the area but this was the first place I went to cuz we needed some quick pizzas for the moving peeps. Their food was incredible The girls at the front were super nice and everything was just amazing I've already gone back twice since then just because of how good it was.

This place is ridiculously good! I had the meat lasagna with a side of sauteed spinach to go, it was absolutely delicious. A special thank you to Logan and his staff you guys are the best!

Quaint little Italian place. Service was fast and friendly. No menus, had to look online. Takeout pizza appeared to be really popular. I ordered the pesto gnocchi, it was to die for! Very light and flavorful. The pesto cream sauce was a bit too oily, but tasted delicious! I also ordered a caprese salad, and the fresh mozzarella was delicious. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan and he says it was really good. I was too full, but wish I had ordered dessert!

I love visiting here. It's right off of highway 64 and it's delicious. Family run and everyone is very nice.

What a wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant! Friendly service and the quality of the food is outstanding! Everything we ordered was perfect from the calamari to the pizza. The soup was delicious and homemade with love. The bread was fresh baked in house. Everything was excellent from start to finish

My wife, who is Italian, and I discovered this restaurant by accident. We have eaten there 3 times. We waited 30 minutes the last time and it was worth the wait. It's tight seating, not upscale but reasonably priced. Excellent sauces

We had the Castello Salad, plain wings with sauce on the side, and Lemon Chicken - and we shared bites back and forth. The wings were crispy-cooked and tender - just twist the bones out of the flats.
The salad was fresh, crisp, and delicious with just the right amount of add-ins. The lemon chicken was tender and tasty with a generous amount of mushrooms - and the lemon sauce was "gravy-soppin' good" - thankfully the rolls were just right for that bit of clean-up.

Nina was friendly and attentive - just perfect. This was our first visit here, I assure you it won't be our last!

The food is great but the service was not so great. We’ve eaten here before and never had to wave our waiter down who was super attentive to all the tables around us… he forgot to bring us water so we had to ask again… ok no big deal he forgot… then he asked us if we wanted parmesan cheese… he never came back… we had to wave him down to ask about our order of lasagna to go and to pay the bill. He wasn’t that busy but maybe he was new. 🥴

5/10/2023…Had dinner here tonight… excellent food as always and our waiter was great! Same waiter as before.. I think he was overwhelmed last visit. Keep up the great food and service!! 💕

I enjoyed this restaurant so much. That was very sweet and helpful. I think the waitress was training one of our waitresses and she did such a great job. The food was excellent. I modified the chicken cacciatore into a vegan version so I was able to just drop off the chicken and that was no big deal to them they didn’t bat an eye at my request which I loved. My boyfriend got a very good version of the lasagna and he also ordered a garlic and cheese bread and he said that was fantastic. It was very fast service and they were very attentive to our needs

Excellent food, excellent service. We just stumbled upon this place by accident and we were very glad we stopped and tried it out. I can't say enough about how good the Sicilian pizza was, And the service was phenomenal!! We would highly recommend eating here.

Stromboli and callazone were excellent. Service was outstanding. Reasonable price

We moved to the area a little over a decade ago and this is our favorite spot. Want pasta? They got it all. Want a sandwich? They got em. Pizza? All the kinds you would like. The desserts are also amazing. The garlic knots are addictive. Their house made salad dressings will have you swearing off the stuff you get from the grocery store for the rest of your life!

Great staff, great service, great food. Dine in or take out - doesn't matter. If you find yourself in the area, you need to stop by.

My husband and I visited IL Castello and the experience was wonderful. We were greeted by 3 young girls who were all smiles and laughter. We had to wait for a table and the girls were sweet and kind as we all laughed and talked. The waitress was equally as nice. The environment was warm and inviting. The food was delicious with portion sizes large enough to bring some home. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy an excellent meal with friendly service.
