Tokyo Japanese Seafood & Steakhouse

We came in for Valentines day and it was a truly wonderful experience. Valentina was amazing and we felt very well taken care of. The sushi was fresh and the bento dinner is a great value!

The Ambiance:
It’s nice here. They’ve got the restaurant set up with two sections. One for for the group cook tables, one for regular sitting tables. It’s pretty well laid out and comfortable.

The Food:
I was so happy when I tasted my sushi and it was nice and fresh. Sometimes when you get sushi far away from the ocean it can be a little... un-fresh. But I’m happy to report that I tried multiple types of sushi and it was all nice and fresh!

The Service:
Service was really great. We had a very sweet lady who checked on us several times to make sure that we had plenty of food.

I ordered take out. So I didn't really get to sample the service or the atmosphere. But the hibachi shrimp. And the eel avocado roll were pretty good. . And. Yum yum sauce. Always a plus.

Brought the family out on a cold snowy night we had a great time. The spider roll and the hibachi was great big portions too had to take a lot home with us.

Very friendly, food comes fast,and give great recommendations. I tell them, I don't eat eggs, and they do fry rice without egg for me. I Appreciated it!

Great food and amazingly accomdating staff! The Gyoza and sushi were really good. Prices are resonable even in these times of high inflation. Location is central to big stores and offers plenty of parking.

This place is awesome! It's inexpensive, but they offer large portions of food. The drinks are reasonably priced, and delicious. The service here was amazing. I ordered steak and shrimp with a side order of chicken. It was a lot of food, so it goes without saying, I had leftovers. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to eat, or for Japanese food in general. Wonderful place!

Such a gem! Stopped here for lunch, and each person in our party of 7 truly enjoyed his/her meal! Great variety, freshness, generous portions and exceptional service makes this place a great option, highly recommend! AnnGa was the best and most attentive waiter we’ve met in a long time, thank you for making out lunch stop such a great experience, we loved it!

We were hesitant about going to this place for sushi. Not going to lie. We r sushi snobs. Lived in Hawaii and Japan where sushi was always fresh amd flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the sashimi was and the rolls. Will be back on our next road trip.

OMGoodness! This was the best tasting sushi i have EVER had, and I have lived in many different states and big cities! I don't live here but I have to travel through Wytheville a few times a year. From now on, I will always stop here. It's so good I was thinking about traveling with an ice chest so I can order a bunch to take with me on the drive, lol. For reference, I got the crazy tuna roll, miso soup and another roll i don't know the name because the cashier recommended it when I told her I liked a lot of masago. It was all so delicious!

A wonderful restaurant off I-81 as I traveled! Great service and even better food!

Great Japanese food! Was on highway driving by this area & found this place before they closed, they still took my order and I was on my way in no time! Thank you for giving me some good tasty food late at night!

This place is amazing highly recommend. Saved to my favorite list when I’m in the area. Fried California roll, salmon avocado roll and tuna avocado roll. Yum yum sauce nice added touch. Thank you

Always have a great time here at Tokyo. The food is $$.xx per plate, but it's all fresh. The sushi is to die for. I'd recommend it if you're looking for American-Japanese cuisine.

The food was okay, decent portions for the price. The rice was good.
If the service wasn’t wonderful, which is hard to find these days I’d probably give it 4, it’s more like a 4.5 but the lady on the phone, and the lady who took my money (maybe owner) were extremely kind and made sure I had everything I needed.

If I lived near here I’d come again for sure!

Great food, great service, and decent prices. Definitely try it if you're going through Wytheville. They haven't offered cooking shows since the pandemic, though, hoping that will start again soon!

We were on a business trip with Indian River Antique Mall Melbourne FL and took the family out to Tokyo Japanese restaurant. The service was outstanding and great food cooked in front of us. Will be eating here on our next antique trip.

Excellent Chicken and Red Snapper. Nice atmosphere. Well worth the visit.

Great experience here, make sure you are hungry. I went with some friends and they really enjoyed it as well. The food and service were great. I especially enjoyed the age dashi tofu appetizer, the salad and the chicken and salmon I ordered.
