The road you take to get to the Visitor Center is lovely. If you arrive after 5 they have a few pamphlets available on their porch. We got great info, when they were open, about everything happening in and around Wytheville each day.

Massive thanks to Wayne Quisenberry, who was so very gracious during my inquiry. For me, it was extremely emotional because I never had the opportunity to meet any of relatives in the Wytheville area. He was very understanding and patient through my rambling and tears, gave me important information that will hopefully close this huge void in my life. I hope to visit very soon and begin the process, may our magnificent creator continue to preserve & sustain us all.

The 2 volunteers on a Monday morn were delightful to visit with. The picnic table under the tree out front was perfect for my morn. snack. Ill be back and spend more time. This was a quick detour on the way to Roanoke.

Nice place to take a break from traveling. The ladies who work here were very nice and helpful. They were a BB le to give us information on the best way to get to where we were going as well as some information on area attractions. There are nice places to have a small picnic before getting back on the road, too.

A little out of the way, but worth it. Ms. Amy was so cheerful, nice, and helpful. I left with a bag of brochures and new places to go. Restrooms were clean and we even picnicked out front under a tree. They have information from Delaware to Kentucky.

This is the nicest visitor center I have ever seen. Not only do they have clean rest rooms and friendly staff, they have current state highway maps. Not just for Virginia, but several other states in the eastern U.S.! I have never seen that before. In addition to maps, they have attraction brochures, organized by distance, as well as other free publications. This place is a little hard to find, but well worth the effort.

Friendly and helpful stewards that really know the local area well. They made a phone call for us on a Saturday afternoon to verify business hours and what services were currently available on May 13, 2022. Great local resource with lots of cost free information.

Very well laid out, with different sections for visitors looking for immediate area attractions, 1-2 hour trips, and further-away activities. Nice building provides a great first impression, and the center is adequately staffed with helpful and knowledgeable people. Good job Wytheville- this may be one of the best visitor centers we've ever been to (and we go to ALOT).

The ULTIMATE place to go for learning about this town and surrounding areas!! Wow! I am blown away by the sheer friendliness, knowledge, and overall willingness to help someone "NEW" to this area! I'll definitely be going back here even if just to visit the wonderful people who work there!!❤

It was quite nice, very quiet. No games to be played but I missed the people I was there with last time. Was dark, but that was ok, I bring light with me. Enjoy love.

Stopped here to use the restroom, but ened up leaving with brochures and a plan to cone back. As soon as you enter the little town you see the Watertower painted like a Hot Air Balloon, and i couldn't let it go. So while in the center i was told about a festival they have. We will be back to visit the sites and for the festival
