My girls and I absolutely love Phoenix. Melissa takes pride in her salon and job. The salon is always nice and clean every time I go for an appointment. Always quiet atmosphere and has a lovely home feeling. Melissa takes her time in getting to know her clients on a personal level. I love that I can go to her for a new color or cut and feel amazing when I walk out the door. I would recommend her and her salon to anyone needing hair cut or color. She's amazing!

Melissa does a great job with my son who has super curly hair as well as my own. She is the only person I trust to do my monthly waxes. The shop she has set up is relaxing and inviting. She takes the time to get to know you as a client and makes appointments with her so reassuring that is listening to my wants and needs.

Phoenix (specifically Melissa) was recommended to me several times. I finally made an appointment to have my brows waxed and check out the other services offered. Melissa listened to what I wanted and the waxing was quick and precise. She toured me around the rest of the salon and I was in love with the salon itself! Relaxing, beautiful atmosphere, great list of services and very reasonable pricing. I will definitely be back.

Lauren (Faulkner) is an expert stylist, with a discerning artistic eye and a warm, genuine, welcoming personality. I have heavy curly/weavy hair and she quickly understood what needed to be done in order to get layers and shape to it. People with curly hair know how difficult it is to find someone in her league. I compare her to the best stylists I have found in Europe. The studio has a massage therapist as well, and is located in a truly beautiful corner of the town. Thank you!

Melissa is very patient with my 2 year old son who is constantly moving. Also my 13 year old who thinks he wants a haircut one way and then 2 weeks later realizes he doesn't like it and she has to fix it. She's been very patient with me working at least 6 months to get the color or of my hair so I could get back to my natural color! Thank you;!

After several years of visiting a once respectful business in the Kernersville community, I had the misfortune of seeing these owners true colors. Having only missed one previous appointment, I was shocked to be confronted with an "after-the-fact" policy charging me for an appointment I sadly had to miss. Unfortunately for the owner, the obligation to inform her clients of a new policy was missed at the time it was implemented, as we as my unreturned two calls prior to my appointment. I received a call only the evening before our rescheduled time notifying me that she must stick to her guns and hold the policy over my head that she failed to tell me about prior to bearing it on my shoulders. Her disregard for the reputation of her business stood true as she refuted me as a customer simply because myself and a family member attended together and usually made payment for us both, however, I had visited on my own and therefore claim to be a (former) customer. I was dumbfounded when I made her aware of her offer to remind me of my upcoming appointment and her quick response negating herself of any responsibility to that extent came quicker than any attempt to mend a client relationship with me. If an owner of a business has no accountability for her own obligations, natural, or in-kind, where does mine stand to honor her policies. After several minutes of technicalities and policy reiterations to the liking of signing a mortgage, and essentially irrelevant to the foundation of customer service, I was told that by questioning the policy I was never told about i had disrespected her business and left her no choice but to fire me as a client. Surprise! you can't fire me, i quit!

I went to get my eyebrows done by lauren and she messed them up. Someone recommended her and their eyebrows looked good but mine don't. I didn't have to pay but my eyebrows are still messed up.
