Can I just shout out to your cashiers! Went there yesterday to grab some fruit and juice and items for sick family members… the cashier was so kind. When I started to load my cart she told me to let her do that, that I looked like I’d had a rough day. Although I didn’t realize it was showing on my face, her thoughtfulness brought me to tears. Your employees are gems.

I shop at both stores, but I like the West Vernon store best. Hardly ever are things out of stock.

The staff are always great! Here recently they have been giving that old school vibe where everyone knows you. The guys in produce always go out of their way to help and ask how we are doing. While all the cashiers are great Polly really interacts with the kids and is very friendly. Managment is doing a great job.

Always stock, clean , organized, and great customer service, and there's always a deal.

Just went to use the restroom, had a pretty rough dinner the night before. Bathroom was really clean.

A little more expensive than Walmart but great meats

Well stocked and clean. Good section of fresh produce. In house butcher shop. Good selection of meats. Clean restrooms. Never a long wait to checkout. Recommended

Employees always friendly and helpful. They did not have what I needed in the deli section, and the young lady went all the way to the back just to check and see if it was available. I couldn't find something on one of the center Isles, and someone graciously showed me exactly where it was. Check out was quick and easy. Qytisha is always friendly and efficient and her brightness makes you smile. Good specials this week, especially the Home Chef meals which are buy one get one free.

Most of the time there is great customer service here. There were a few times that I was bulging pregnant and the cashier which was a young tall brunette she didn't offer to help me put my bags in the trunk which I thought was odd considering I was huge and pregnant and could have used the help since my cart was filled to the brim. But other than those few instances involving her I love this food lion and this is my main grocery store that I shop at!

Love the fruit, veggies, meat, and bakery. The staff is always Johnny on the spot, with their knowledge not only their items and area but of the store at large. I will be returning.

Always clean. Friendly service. I have found that they are generally cheaper on the products I buy than the Piggly Wiggly. Wish they had a butcher. But it is my first thought for a grocery store run now.

This particular Food Lion here in Kinston NC usually keeps a good stock of everything in store for your every need and has a great store manager who is very nice and understanding. I highly recommend this store to everyone. My favorite part is the 59 cent gallons of water they have on sale often.

My absolute favorite place to shop! Amazing deals, freshest fruit and veggies. Love seeing my savings on the receipt. The staff is always very helpful and considerate. Can I give them 10 stars?

I personally watched a young man by the name of Brandon handle, with great diplomacy and reverence, deal with what the internet would call a "Karen". I am only leaving this review for this young man, he is one of the single redeeming qualities of this location and you are not paying him his worth. If you won't, someone else will.
