I first hired Ken in 2013 when I was looking for a smaller home, he was extremely professional, always early to appointments, knowledgeable and completely trustworthy. He and I viewed probably 25 homes (way too many for Ken, I'm sure...but he was a trooper). Found a great house and life went on.
Fast forward 7 years to 2020, I was looking for a new home and the only person I would call....Ken, of course. He found a great house for my needs (sent me 30 others and we viewed about 8 in person), but he had found a perfect place that really "checked all the boxes. His guidance, preparation and professional attitude and knowledge were even sharper than before.
2021, time to sell the first house I had bought with him....who do you call....Ken, again....of course.

Ken was great. He set realistic expectations. He looked at our house from the buyer's viewpoint, and had us make a lot of small adjustments to improve its marketability. I've bought and sold many houses in my lifetime, and Ken is the first agent I can recall that gave us a clear and accurate estimate of what our proceeds might be at the time we signed on with him. He updated that estimate during the negotiation phase with our potential buyer so that we would know what to expect. I always felt we were in partnership during the process. We worked hard to sell our house, but Ken worked hard as well. He was a pleasure to work with.

I have never worked with a more diligent, hard working, thoughtful real estate agent than Ken Jones. He worked with us over a year to find a house, never pushy, but gently leading us until we found OUR house. But it was when we went to sell our previous home that I found out just how good Ken is. When offers were submitted Ken went into action - he presented us with every bit of information he could get on the potential buyers so that we were able to make an informed decision. He is truthful with you and doesn't sugar coat things but gives you the wisdom that comes with his years of experience in the real estate industry. He is truly awesome.

Ken was a fantastic agent. He was quick to respond and very professional. What I found was nice and a good change of pace was that Ken is his own photographer, not only does it simplify schedule issues but he KNOWS all the angles and lighting and does in my opinion better than many photographers would do! Also he has an expansive list of people to help get those punch list items resolved. We had a chimney Cap that a dozen people would paint, he had a person there and taken care of the painting in one day with another on standby if schedules fell through.

From our perspective, Ken went above and beyond his job of helping our family simply find a house we liked. He took the time to understand what we were looking for in a neighborhood and community and why. He spent as much time as we needed, answered our questions throughly and always went the extra step. This gave us great confidence in his advice and guidance. He was also patient and upbeat and was able to use his knowledge in construction to provide honest, trustworth and very valuable insights into each prospective property we viewed. In the end we came to really trust Ken's advice and would highly recommend him to anyone -yet especially to families moving into the State with limited knowledge of the metro Atlanta market.

I've used Ken Jones and Clear Summit Realty on 3 occasions now, buying twice and selling a property and I could not be more pleased. I had a bad experience with a first time home purchase with a realtor years ago from the "Walmart" of realtor companies and Ken completely washed that bad taste away. Unlike most who will push you into the first house you look at Ken will walk in and give his honest opinion on any property. That is hard to find these days which is why we will continue to use him.

We used Clear Summit Realty to sell our home in Acworth based on awesome reviews for Ken Jones. We were assigned a different realtor... Patty Upchurch... I never met Ken and I'm glad I didn't ;) PATTY is the BEST. She staged our home (no charge), fixed things that were broken, held my hand through it all and had the most professional attitude. We moved to TN and now that we want to buy again I am having an impossible time finding a realtor that is anywhere near as awesome as Patty. She EARNS her commission. No doubt.

Ken was an absolute pleasure to work with--as a first time homebuyer, I honestly had no clue what I was doing. He explained everything so clearly upfront so that I would know what I was getting into. He always seemed to be available when my husband and I had free time to look at houses and he never rushed us through any of them.
