TLC Family Practice

I can’t say enough great things about this practice and ESPECIALLY APRN Amanda. She has been top tier when it comes to my care. I have truly never had a better experience with any other provider. She has been thorough, attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She has listened to and addressed every concern I have had. I can’t thank her and TLC family practice enough for providing an atmosphere where I feel heard, safe, and secure when it comes to my health and concerns. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend. I was referred to Nurse Practitioner Amanda by a friend of mine. I live in Lakeland and since birth have went to a well known PCP facility in Lakeland, however over the years I felt my concerns were not being addressed and my visits felt rushed.
This is not the case with Amanda, she takes the time to actually listen to your concerns, she's thorough, very informative and the list goes on. I absolutely love her beside manner. I have been a patient of hers since 2021 and I'm shocked at how much she remembers of our personal off topic chats we have at each appt, she has so many patients she sees regularly and the fact she can remember small details of my life says a lot! Staff is very welcoming as well. Can't say enough about Amanda and this practice!

I recently moved here from NY. Ended up in the hospital due to an infection. Didn’t have a doctor here yet and was terrified. Amanda Waters, the NP there took me in right away. She is amazing! Extremely thorough, she listens and is attentive. Covered all the bases, ordered the appropriate tests, and gave me some referrals for specialists, they even scheduled some of the appointments for me! I absolutely love her! The office staff and nurses are also fantastic, everyone is very friendly, efficient and kind!! I would give ten stars if it was an option! Thank you so much for everything!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Phillipps and her staff! I needed a new family doctor and Dr. Phillips office came highly recommended. They were able to get me right in to see the nurse practitioner Amanda Waters who was incredible! She was very thorough during my initial appointment and really took the time to get to know me personally as well as my medical history. Highly recommend!

I Absolutely love them! I went to two doctors who ignored my pains. So finally being able to come to a place that genuinely cares almost makes me want to cry. This is a team of hard working women who actually care and actually do a good job. I was blessed to have Amanda take care of me! She IS AMAZING!!! If you can get an appointment with her do it! She is on top of everything and genuinely listens. No only that she’s always got a great attitude. I think she deserves a raise 👍🏾🤩 lol. Overall this is an amazing place I will definitely bring my family members here. This is a hidden gem for sure! Everyone there are great and I’m always happy to see them!

I love my Doctor! Dr.Karen N. Phillips is caring, resourceful, compassionate, knowledgeable, and takes the time to listen to your concerns and includes it in a narrative. Friendly, courteous staff, I have recommended her to friends & family!!

For the past 1 1/2 years I have been taking my daughter to Drs of all different specialties to try to help her with medical issues. She has tried several different treatments with little success. She was getting to the point of being afraid of Drs. We made 1 more effort to see NP Amanda, She took time with her, listened intentionally to all her symptoms. She felt so comfortable in openly discussing her medical and mental health because of all of this. We are now finally on the right path! Thank you Amanda for everything! And we thank you for choosing this profession to help people.

I have finally found the perfect place for my medical treatment!!! From the sweet ladies at the front desk, to the fun-loving nurse, to the wonderful PA, Kristy!!! What a kind, caring, & attentive staff! This is the most laid back, yet professional medical establishment. You’re not just a number on a chart to them. You’re treated like a living, breathing human being and made to feel as if you really matter. It’s such a good hearted, small town, everyone knows everyone environment. I actually like going to the doctor now. I just can’t say enough great things about this place!!! I’m so thankful to my friend who told me about TLC!!!

They are the best! The Doctor, PA, Nurses and staff and all so helpful and they actually get to know you and your situation. It's a breath of fresh air to receive real customer service in the medical industry. I have recommended many friends to TLC and will continue to do so!

I've been going to Dr. Phillips, TLC FAM PRACTICE for years. I wouldn't change it for anything. The staff is wonderful. Lisa, PA and Karen the Dr. shows and express true concern for their patients. As a patient I can say that I'm at a better place (health wise). I'm healthier now that I've ever been before. It's been a long journey. It's definitely a team effort. Thanks TLC!

TLC and the amazing staff there have everything and more that you could want from a small town medical practice. From their onsite blood testing to their medical staff, who have the best bedside manner bar none my wife and I have ever found in a medical practice. Their timely attention to medical needs of their patients and jest the pure availability to talk to a real caring person puts TLC above larger practices in Winter Haven, Lakeland, Bartow, Tampa or Orlando. Truly amazing. Our family loves this practice and would highly recommend the practice as a whole.

sawalls88 ...I'm so sorry about your experience. If you would call the office and speak with a member of the staff, they may be able to help you to fix the bill with Quest. There were no tests ordered other than the ones normally ordered with a physical. There never are unless requested. Your insurance company may not want to pay for screening labs. But if you would call the office, someone would gladly try to help. You have to remember, to err is human. It was not done with any malicious intent. My office always tries to help everyone. Not hurt.
