Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pooler/Savannah

This cute little place was perfect for an overnight stay on St Patty’s Day weekend. Jay and Brenda at the front desk were so nice and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. 10/10, would recommend to a friend. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice hotel. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. If I had to give a negative it would be the bed covering is very hot! We never could get comfortable (hot/cold) (air set at 64). I would just bring my own blanket next time. Not a dealbreaker. Friendly staff. Great location. About a 15 min drive to downtown Savannah. Close to many shops, grocery store and fast food. Definitely would stay here again if I’m in the area.

Rooms mediocre but for the price, it was very comfortable!! I had a family emergency & had to send a relative to NY, so it was minutes from the airport & served its purpose….

I want to be transparent here.

I found myself without somewhere to go quite suddenly but happily for this change. But having not planned for this, I was in need of an option I had not looked for or found yet.

Microtel was the only local hotel I found with an availability.

The real concern for me was my companion, my cat named Artemis, was with me. The only place for her to be that she could be safely. But unfortunately in the same position, lacking somewhere secure to sleep, behind closing doors.

They were kind beyond words to explain my gratitude, literal statement, in noticing that I had Artemis with me and allowing her to stay regardless of this being a no-pet location.

It was late in the evening when I showed up there, so finding somewhere else would have been a large burden given the events of the day.

Half of my belongings were already upstairs when they noticed me carrying her back and forth with me.

It would have been a challenge to fuel another trip somewhere else safely in a car without a closing driver's side front door. Something I had not yet settled on selecting a company to hire in replacing yet. A cost to quality ratio assessment had stalled me.

Sometimes the kindness found in our world's bubble is unexpected to an extent almost unbelievable. But that is what this small and uncommon gesture meant to me. I was able to call my mother and father to tell them I'm safe without having to lie that night. And every night since.

This place is awesome 😎. The front desk lady named haeger was extremely nice and very helpful. I believe that what makes this place so awesome. My room was very clean. My wife was a lil uneasy being pregnant. So i went down stairs to ask if perhaps they would have spare pillows and miss haeger got up and handed me to fresh pillows and pillow cases. Also the breakfast presentation was absolutely perfect. Everything about this place has been a perfect stay for me and my wife. Not too pricey either. !! Thank you miss haeger for making my wife sleep a lil better! God bless

The hotel Front Desk Night manager Ms. Bey was absolutely wonderful. I came in exhausted from a 6am -12am day with a cancelled flight. She helped me fix my reservation because I booked it incorrectly. She was incredibly accommodating. Then I couldn't get my charger to work and she helped me over the phone to try and fix it and then lent me a USB plug. Her entire demeanor of amazing hospitality is rare these days.

In terms of the hotel itself - the rooms were utterly run down. The couch had more stains than a couch I'd find next to a dumpster, the elevator was broken but this wasn't an issue for me, the rooms smell and badly needed updating.

But my review is not of the hotel itself - but the incredible efforts the staff went to so I could have a good experience, get a good night's sleep, and catch my flight.

Have stayed at this facility 20+ times. The check-in/out staff are so friendly & efficient. Breakfast is above what we would expect from a value hotel. The room was clean & well appointed although the coffee maker which was always there is gone now... Oh well...
We shall be back as this is by far the best facility of it's kind in the Pooler area.

This may sound trivial, but the freezer compartment actually was a freezer. In many other motels it just chills better than fridge. I put my can of cold brew in the freezer compartment to have a real chilled,perhaps slushy cold brew in morning, but it actually froze. That’s a good thing to know for next time, bc we ate all 4 ice cream pops,l the night before,thinking it wouldn’t freeze, and got stomach aches.
So it may sound trivial but on road trips these little things count

incredibly friendly and helpful check in staff. ample free breakfast. accomodating to our needs in a super friendly manner. very clean. lots of pillows and comfy bed!! excellent cooling system in toom. absolutely will stay again!!!

I've stayed here twice as part of a work trip and both times were pleasant. It's a cute, clean hotel with good service and it's also in a nice location. There's lots of stuff around! The only complaint I could have is that one of the picnic benches in the front over outside the pool is starting to fall apart, but it wasn't like that the first time I was here. 😊

Stayed here for six nights with a large group. Comfortable, great location, and the staff took such great care of all of us. They went above and beyond to help when a medical situation came up with one of our team. So thankful.

Very good reasonable and very clean accommodations periods all the staff are friendly other than one grumpy older white lady who works the front desk at night. She was very rude when I had to get my card reset because it wasn't opening one of the side doors. she blamed it on my cell phone, holding it too close she claimed but I had not had any problems with it before that or after that and I stayed for a week. I believe what happened was at chicken they originally thought I was just staying for one night because I booked online when I actually was staying 3 nights so I think we attended just didn't set my card right but she didn't want to listen to that and I wasn't even being rude I was just explaining to her why I felt it had stopped working Periods but all other staff on all other shifts were very friendly and accommodating

Very respectful and friendly staff. We arrived late and got a reasonable price for the room. We requested to check out an hour late and they were okay with it. They kept our bags for a couple of hours after check-out. More importantly, the hotel rooms are very clean and peaceful.

Note this motel is getting a 5 star review for being an excellent 2 star hotel (budget) . It was updated and VERY CLEAN and everything worked. It was not high end in any way but , The beds, were comfortable , soft and sheets were clean and soft as well. Continental breakfast lacked protein but had a waffle maker selection of cereals as well as bagels and breads. Being 5.5 hours from Orlando / Tampa it is our top pick for a nights rest . A good midway spot to break up our 12 hour trip from Virginia.

I love the location great place to get away when you don't wanna be bothered.Very clean and staff is very courteous..always helpful and tending to guest.i would give them a 10...because I love how clean everything is...,but it wasn't that many stars.Excellent service and I always love to stay here when in town

Traveling I 95 back to Maryland from Florida we tried Microtel Inn. We stayed one night as we were just passing through. The place has just been remodeled and it is very nice. We are picky about the beds we sleep on. Our bed was quite comfortable. The included breakfast consisted of the usual: hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereals and juices...etc. not gourmet but decent.
The Inn is owned by new people and they are very nice.
Recommend this place for its cleanliness and for its people.

Great service. My spouse is disabled and they were able to provide a shower chair so he wouldn't exhaust himself in the shower. Front desk was great help finding somewhere local for dinner too.

Its right off 95. Its nice and clean. No breakfast because of covid. But they do give you a breakfast bag with apples, muffins and granola bars. Rooms are nice and bathroom too. Quiet at night. I slept pretty good here. Overall it was pretty good and affordable!

They were awesome to us! As we were checked into the hotel across the street. We told them the conditions and they accommodated us with letting us check in early and gave us breakfast. Obviously with Covid precautions in place. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Pooler.
