The Grove Restaurant & Tavern

Stopped here for a cocktail and some munchies while visiting family in Decatur. Service was excellent as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant. We sat at a high top in the bar area. Cocktails were great - hubby had the Whisky pig old-fashioned and said it was excellent! We ordered tater tots, spring rolls, and pretzel bites. All good as well.

Definitely recommend. Would plan to visit again when in the area.

Great comfort bar food. They often send you discount coupons if you have the app. At one point try had trivia nights, not sure if they still do that. I really enjoy the tots and homemade ranch dressing!

I really enjoyed this spot! Traveling with my 18 year old who is extremely picky and myself being a pescetarien can make finding some where to eat difficult. They had plenty of seafood options and wings! The vibe was great, our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly, and the price was good!

Finally made it back and this place is better than ever. Great food and cool atmosphere…. Lots of dining areas , a bar and outdoor area. Staff was friendly and seemed to work well together to make your meal a good one. For lunch we had a Texas burger, a Texan would be happy with, and sweet potato chips. My wife had a chicken salad croissant with tater tots. Most satisfying lunch in a long time. We left full and refreshed. Parking can be a challenge, but worth the effort.

2019 Review: Pub style restaurant with friendly atmosphere and good food. Many TVs and background classic rock. Outdoor seating available. Great location and adequate parking. Food is mostly America’s fare with a few wraps salads and burritos. Fun place to come for dinner or drinks.

Good food, excellent outside terrace, quick service. Kinda on the pricier side - burger and sweet potato fries cost $22 all in.

This is a very lively neighborhood eatery! The food was great! Skyler was our server. She was great! Already looking forward to trying much of the menu.

Good place , stopped in while it was raining and I was waiting for a ride .

The greeter was very welcoming and helpful and since we seat ourselves , I was seated quickly.

Josh my server was on it , helped me almost immediately and helpful , friendly and patient .

Amazing spot. Staff are incredible, TVs are always tuned to the big games, atmosphere is bumpin, and the food is great.

My favorites are the hot buffalo chicken tenders, the lemon pepper wings, the cheddar bacon burger, and the grove chick.

Perfect neighborhood spot! Always delicious and always great service. I’ve had Ramsey as my server twice now and she has been so sweet each time. The chicken salad and club wrap are both delicious 👍

I'll forgive the servers because it was a busy Friday night. Nice, but difficult to get their attention sometimes. My Reuben was delicious! I loved the variety on their menu, and will return on a weekday when it's less crowded.

The best taco salad ever I substitute chicken for chili and added black beans and guacamole

Great spot for lunch. Dropped in today for a quick bite and everything was perfect. Prompt and polite service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere.

Came here for the first time, and it was great!! I got fish and chips, and my fiance got pasta. Both were delicious. We also watched the Falcons game. They have a lot of tvs for game days!! We're definitely going to come back 😋

Great experience! I was immediately greeted at the door with a smile. Rachel (who looks a little like Jennifer Aniston) suggested I sit whenever, so I chose a booth between the well-stocked bar a the side window door with the tree on it. Rachel suggested the Reuben and tots. It was served hot and very fast at the Thursday lunch hour. My Blue Moon draft was cold as was the orange slice. Delicious and just the right portion. The menu is large, varied, and filled with crowd-pleasers. Even if you have a group with mixed preferences or picky eaters there's something for everyone. Lots of families with kids were coming in for dinner. They were out of a handful of things I asked for on the menu. I wish that would have been noted somewhere or stated upfront. The portions were generous and everything tasted great. I got a sense that many of the people who were in for dinner were regulars. The customers and wait staff all seemed to know each others names and were talking about their families, recent travel, etc. It made the vibe of the place really friendly and nice.

Parking was a pain despite the restaurant sitting in the middle of a huge surface parking lot.

The Grove has excellent, consistent food. Their menu has a good variety which is nice. Each time I’ve been it’s pretty busy, but we were able to get a seat immediately and the food came out quickly and hot. My wife loves the comfort food specials!

This is your quintessential neighborhood family restaurant. We visited on a friday evening and it was packed - cleaely very popular!

The menu was pretty extensive. We had potato skins for an app, several drinks and I had a chicken sandwich that was prettyn hearty & tasty.

The atmosphere was pleasant, I liked that there was outdoor seating available. The only drawback I noticed was the parking - its a bit complex for the small sized plaza.

Service was amazing. Menu was endless. Our choices were right on. The patio was amazing on a perfect weather evening. For a brief while we were the only ones outside; piped in music was for a full patio and we were right by the speakers. We moved. And asked if music could lower. Staff was very accommodating.

We got here for dinner all the time...sometimes sit at the bar, sometimes in the bar area, outside or the restaurant area. It does get busy for games but they always seat you as quickly as possible and have lots of seats and parking!

The servers are always super friendly! Bartenders are great!

I have never had anything that I didn't like there... quesadillas, wings, burgers, sandwiches... everything! It is a great neighborhood spot!

Love this! Great neighborhood and family gathering spot! Owner, Bobby is a great guy and has a great staff! Highly recommend for family dinner or going to watch a sporting event!!
