My wife and I needed a place to stop and decided to give this place a try, because it was right where we were.
With lower expectations, considering we usually stay with Marriott, we were pleasantly surprised with the friendly and professional staff at check in. Our room was exactly what we wanted, with a spacious layout, luxurious king bed, room to finish up some computer work, and a large bathroom with plenty of hot water that we took advantage of.
The room was cool and quiet, clean beyond any expectancy, and everything worked like new.
If you find yourself in Waynesville, or are planning a trip into the Smokeys, this is the place!
Quiet, comfortable, clean, and one of the best beds I have ever had a good night's sleep on!

Absolutely beautiful view, helpful and friendly staff, and clean, comfy rooms. The girls and I enjoyed our visit and housekeeping was hilarious and so attentive to our needs. They brought us extra towels knowing we had 4 people in our room without us even having to ask. We will be back!

I had called ahead for availability for the night and to get rates, I spoke to the clerk on duty and she was absolutely charming so I was looking forward to meeting her. When I arrived at the hotel, Trish greeted me with a beautiful smile and the charm I was expecting, got me checked in and I can get some well deserved rest tonight. Thank you so much Trish, I definitely will be back, you are amazing 😍

Nice and cheap hotel should you be staying in the area. I have relatives staying there and they seem very pleased with it.

Great little hotel up on a hill which makes for a good view from your balcony deck!!🙌 Only complaint is that it's totally over priced for that kind of hotel. 5 cop cars, to include the canine unit no less, in the back parking lot, the next morning. Cops wouldn't answer my question but house keeping staff said it was just a teenager being a jerk to the mom. NOT really sure WHY THAT required 4 police🚓cars AND the canine unit but was a little unsettling regardless of reason.🙄 And I didn't find THAT out until way later. Stayed in my room UNTIL I checked out!! Better safe than sorry. People ARE nuts every place you go so NO telling what may come of it!! Other than that I had NO complaints. It WAS thee ONLY hotel I COULD even find, anywhere near where I was, just traveling through to get to south east coast of NC.

Fantastic view, front desk clerk was so thoughtful and sweet (Trish I think), comfy bed and clean room. Glad we decided to turn off and not hassle with the traffic anymore.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I thought it was going to be a hot mess at first hearing the name. But when I arrived I found what appeared to be a country lodge. Beautifully modernized lobby and I was told the rooms are being redesigned as well.

There is a small family owned staff. Breakfast isn't great but palatable. I enjoyed the waffles.

Each room has a beautiful view of the Nanatahaha National Forest complete with rocking chairs.

Highly recommend may want to have breakfast locally.

A little outdated but I definitely recommend the stay! Very clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant!

My Stay at this Hotel was Amazing, the lady at the front desk Trish helped me with checking in and also helped me find local recommended places to eat in the area, the room was clean and comfortable, Great Stay!!!

A bit over priced but still comfy. Pretty sure this hotel is haunted. Or maybe just the room we stayed in 305.

This hotel is under new management from previous owners. They are trying new things to try and resurrect it. Please try it and the reviews help. They also are going thru staff changes to better fit the new management. In with the new out with the old type stuff. Recently had front desk employee fired for not actually working. He complained more than he worked. I won’t say banned due to slander and copyright. But he left a dishonest review. He called out and had the audacity to complain about not getting enough hours. But please give this place a chance. You’ll see when you go into the lobby they are remodeling. You can actually see the changes.

Clean, and convenient to what we needed. The staff was accommodating and overall a well kept facility. I absolutely recommend the hotel and would stay again.

Old, but clean, staff were so nice and always asking if I needed anything, location was great, I would stay there again. I have nothing to complain about.

Loved everytime that I checked in. They really accomade you. The housekeeping are very friendly. Has a wonderful view of 3 mountaintops also!
